Take part in a meaningful project that helps bring back corals and marine life.
This isn’t just a snorkeling trip — it’s a chance to make a real difference for Bali’s reefs. Based at a one-of-a-kind floating pontoon over a 8,000 sqm coral restoration site in East Bali, you'll get hands-on with coral planting and see how conservation efforts are bringing marine life back to the area. Since 2019, the site has seen the fish population grow tenfold and coral growth increase fifteen times, with over 408,000 coral fragments planted — every fragment contributes to a healthier reef and thriving marine life. The experience is educational and inspiring, led by coral restoration practitioners who are passionate about the ocean. You can witness firsthand how coral restoration supports vibrant marine life and strengthens the reef. The team’s thoughtful approach extends beyond the water, reflecting their dedication to sustainability and ocean protection. What to ExpectSnorkel above a thriving coral nurseryPlant your own coral fragment on a floating pontoon inside a 8,000 sqm restoration siteLearn from the expert coral restoration team about the conservation effortsEnjoy a freshly prepared lunch with beautiful sea viewsOptional scuba diving to get a closer look at the reef and its creatures (add-on available)Good to KnowThe experience lasts around 5 hours, with a flexible itinerary subject to weather conditionsParticipants need to be comfortable in water; some swimming ability is helpful but no prior experience requiredLife jackets are provided for safetyMaximum 20 snorkelers per group, with a guide ratio of 1:5 for personalized attentionYou will get your own reef star to attach the coral — let us know in advance if you'd like to personalize it with a special namePlease arrive at least 15 minutes early for the briefing and the activity starts promptly at 9amIf you're prone to motion sickness, you may want to take precautionary meds beforehand – you'll be on a pontoon for a few hoursIf you choose to dive, you'll explore the coral restoration site up close with the help of expert instructors.
