Review Body: Our trip was awesome. Our drivers (Dewa and Andrew) and hiking guides (Jay) were amazing, they knew a lot about Bali and the area we were in and made sure we were comfortable with everything we were doing along our journey. The hike truly is 1 of a kind and seeing the blue flames was breathtaking. The hike is also great to do because it was very cool to start early in the morning and make it to the top of the mountain for sunrise! It was awesome! If you are doing this drive from Bali, make sure you ask for Dewa to drive you. He is a veteran and will get you there safely and quickly and is a great guy to spend time with on your journey!

Review Body: The experience went very well. It was the middle of July, so there were huge crowds along the route to Kawah Ijen… but luckily we had amazing tour guides. Everything was organized for us, from our departure in Bali through the ferry crossing all the way to the volcano trek. Our guide was Zai, a remarkable young man who will undoubtedly be able to say “hello” in your language! Even when things get scary, he holds your hand and helps you get past your fear! Without him, we never would have been able to see the blue flames. He has tips for everything! A huge thank you to him.

Our guide Jye (not sure the spelling) was amazing super lively and knowledgeable and kept the vibes high despite the 2am start. He took so many amazing pictures and videos and made edits for us too!! Would 100% reccomend. Travel to and from Bali was well organised and smooth sailing. Overall 10/10.

Review Body: Visiting Mt. Ijen is definitely worth it. Our volcano guide, Suki, was very kind and attentive throughout the ascent and descent. However, the journey to the volcano was quite an "interesting" situation. Two friends and I (all women) had planned the excursion. A few hours before we set off, the driver messaged me about the pick-up point. The first stage of the trip, the driver picked us up at the agreed location. When we got into the van, he told us he was also bringing his son and nephew along. They weren’t excessively bothersome during the ride, but we couldn’t sleep because the son was watching videos on his phone at full volume. When we got to the port, we were told another person would be accompanying us on the boat ride. It was a woman who didn’t speak English and simply had us follow her around. We boarded a boat that, given the time of night, was occupied by only a few men. Some of them started recording us, and we had to ask them to stop. The woman accompanying us did nothing about it. Once we got off the boat, we learned we’d have a different driver. No one explained anything to us because they didn’t speak English. This new driver spent the ride video-calling someone and kept pointing his phone at us, which was very uncomfortable. During the last part of the journey, the driver told us we had to send him a photo of our passports. We asked why, and he said it was for a medical check. At no point before had anyone told us that a medical check would be required. Around 11 p.m., they stopped at a house in the middle of nowhere, with people sleeping on the floor, and told us this was where the medical check would take place. The place was dirty and gave off a very bad impression. After a blood pressure check and a few questions, they gave us a paper stating we had passed the medical check, and we returned to the car. When we got to the base of the volcano, there was still an hour to wait before the guide would arrive, so we asked the driver to let us wait inside the vehicle. I understand it's a modest area of the country, but that doesn’t excuse the tour company from explaining the journey clearly and providing information about who will be accompanying you and the steps to follow to reach the volcano. Once we were with our guide, Suki, the experience was fantastic. He took lots of photos with our phones and even put together a small video that he later sent us using all the pictures he had taken. The return trip was similar to the way there. The final driver (from the way there) tried to take a photo of us, and when we asked why, he said it was so the next driver could recognize us. But why would the next driver need a photo of us when it was the same driver from the night before? As women traveling alone, we felt a bit powerless and unprotected. We decided to trust the process, but I do believe the tour company should explain the steps more clearly and provide more detailed information. Sadly, it was a bit of a sour experience.

Review Body: We booked the one day trip to Ijen, from Bali, with Como Bali Tour and we were lucky to meet Wayan. It was a 4 hour drive to the harbour, then he crossed us to Java on the ferry. We went to a restaurant to have dinner where we ate very tasty Mie Goreng. Then he joined us with another driver to the starting point of the trekking where he stayed to rest. The trekking is hard, since you go up 3km approximately without sleeping, pitch dark and with some very steep places (actually it is worse the tired you are because you don’t sleep than the leg exercise). We had a guide that showed us the way up the volcano and then down to the crater. It was quite a rocky and slippery path but our guide helped us down. Then we went to the rim of the crater, to see the sun rise and the blue (super acid) lake. Finally we got down where Wayan was waiting, we had breakfast in a Warung and headed to the harbour. In Bali he drove us back to our hotel, dropping off first a couple that was staying at another village. The views through Bali in those 4 hours were also incredible!! So all in all Wayan was a great driver: on time, polite, ready to explain all our doubts about Bali. Oh! And BTW, it was Galungan festival in Bali, which he missed and didn’t even complain. Also because of the festival, the traffic in Ubud was even crazier than normal but he didn’t make us feel uncomfortable. Don’t do like us and remember that at the top of Ijen, it is VERY COLD. 6 degrees Celsius with wind. We were underdressed and freezing. We recommend long trousers, a sweater, jacket, gloves, scarf... when you hike up it will not seem like you need it, but at the top, especially for when you are waiting still for the sun to rise, you will appreciate it.

Review Body: Our guide Wayan picked us up at the hotel in Kuta. By the welcome he gave us, we felt like were in good hands and that our trip was going to be great. We had booked most of our tours with Como Bali Tour. Wayan shared a lot of things about the history of Bali, it's culture and religion on the way to the waterfall, fun and interesting to listen to. Once we arrived at the waterfall, we were introduced to a local guide, who identified himself as "Johnny Depp" and I played along till the end as he looked like one Balinese Depp. The local tour guide was kind hearted, helped us with taking photo's, helped my girls get through slippery places. It was a really great experience, you will come across a lot of locals trying to sell you stuff, and motorbikes giving you a lift up hill for 100,000 IDR if I'm correct. Make sure to be nice and say thank you or no thank you if you don't want to buy stuff on the way. Once we were up at the car park, we had lunch at a local shop and after a delicious Nasi goreng, we headed back. Make sure to leave a tip to the guides if you feel happy, it will make their entire day. Bali people are really helpful and nice, and thank you Como Bali Tour for providing us with a great experience.

Review Body: My sister and I were travelling Indonesia together from India, and had only 3 days in Bali. We wanted to make the most use of it and have fun while at it and Como Bali was the best option! Both Deva and Wayan were very informative and knew about local sights and gave us pointers on dos and donts. Aling Aling waterfall was really fun! Quite a trek to the waterfalls via stairs through the paddy fields and jungle but it was so worth the effort because the lovely blue lagoon where you can swim n relax just refreshes you and kroya waterfall is sooo crazy, to jump 5m /10/15m plus slide down a waterfall! The tours include transport services, lunch, guide services and mineral water so it was good! Deva made the whole trip fun and the drive was good. The next day - we got picked at 1:30am by Wayan and headed to Mt. Batur to climb and witness the beautiful and Mesmerizing sunrise sitting by the mouth of the active volcano! It was a very adventurous trek to the top with torches that they provide. We are also provided with a guide (for ourselves). The tour includes breakfast at the top, guide services, water and transport to and fro. Wayan was informative and fun and overall we had a great time!

Review Body: First, I would like to thank Wayan for accommodating such a tight schedule. We contacted him about the Mt Batur Sunrise Trek literally the night of the activity (6hrs in advance of our 1:30am pickup). Wayan happily obliged and was 10mins early at our villa in Seminyak which was quite obscured at the end of an alleyway. Wayan greeted us warmly and let us rest during the car ride to Mt Batur. Then, we were introduced to our amazing guide, Tri. Tri was the most caring person that we encountered throughout our trip. She made sure multiple times that my wife was comfortable during the hike and made sure there were enough breaks throughout. We got to the top with time to spare and she cooked up a breakfast for us before offering to take our photos and suggesting the best areas to take photos. We also talked to her the entire way and found out that she is an amazing and hard working single mother. This was a beautiful trip, definitely worth taking. It is a challenging hike, but Tri will ensure that you are pacing yourself well and will help you get there. Wayan will ensure you get there and back safely. I recommend Como Bali, and Wayan and Tri specifically.

Review Body: Although we unfortunately booked with another company we were sooooooo lucky to get Wayan for our driver! We were so happy with him we immediately booked him to take us to the airport the next morning. He was always early. The other tour company gave him the wrong hotel info (even when I gave them the correct hotel information several times in emails!). He was patient and waited for us (Oberhue an hour!) at the wrong location. When we finally got the other tour company to contact him he arrived exactly when he said he would! (And if you know how traffic is in Denpasar you know how difficult that is!) His shopping advice for a place to purchase gifts to take with us back home as well as his restaurant locations he took us while on our tour were fantastic! And reading all the testimonials here about him I can not agree more! He was so much better that the hotel drivers in punctuality, price, English and knowledge! The highest of recommendations and I would feel confident this is also the best tour group (I wish we had booked everything with them!!) Thank you Wayan!!!

Review Body: From the Start, the entire team has been very cooperative, responsible and responsive. 1. Accomodation documents for Visa on arrival - were sent within a few minutes once ready. 2. Regular whatsapp communication even at odd midnight hours to ensure comfort. 3. Great driver team. The ones that drive you around will be professional and on time. Will gladly listen to your requests. 4. Best guides ever. The guides at Ijen were terrific. Young ambitious boys who spare no effort to keep you safe and happy. 5. Flexible accomodation. The best accomodation is provided, flexible to the conditions of the trip. Special shoutout to Andrew. He's the best. If he's your tour leader or point of contact, rest assured you're in very safe hands. He's also very knowledgeable and try to learn from him. Even if the package might appear costly, do not hesitate to book this especially if you're a solo traveler. If you're from India, please do choose them as they are knowledgeable about vegetarianism and Indian requirements.

Review Body: Wayan, our companion during Bali visit, was a wonderful person who was willing to accommodate our last minute requests at a fair price. We had a tight schedule, just 3 days in Bali, and we wanted to make the best out of it so we requested Wayan if we could combine Sunrise trek to Batur with a trip to Aling-align waterfall and then end the day at Ulluwati for the Ramayan rendition. These are really far off places with a lot of driving in between but Wayan accommodated our request and got us to all the places we wanted to see in time. It was helpful that he knew how to get us tickets for the Ramayan show at the very last minute. He is also knowledgeable when it comes to suggesting places to eat. He took us to the Amori Bali buffet, that place had a good breakfast buffet with amazing views of Kintamani volcanoes to go with it. Overall, Wayan was so helpful we decided to utilize his service for all 3 days of our stay in Bali. Highly recommend him.

Review Body: Sekumpul is a majestic waterfall yet very calm. To my surprise, once we hiked down to the waterfall, the water was so shallow and the waters were safe that anyone could go just underneath the waters coming from up. There's another waterfall named, "hidden waterfall" that recieves less people than the first waterfall. Again, this is an amazing place to chill just like the previous one. We went to Sekumpal after hiking to the Mount Batur, by which we were exhausted. Even so, we were able to enjoy it because Wayan was joyful to be around with. He was a kind and helpful tour guide. Later, he introduced us to a local guide whose real name is still unknown :) But he is known to the place that he made sure we didn't have a single bruise but a lot of candid photos taken by himself. I can say that Como Bali tours offered us a good service and made sure we are safe and comfortable travelling in Bali.

Review Body: I knew DEWA TRISNA as a recommendation from my friends. He was fantastic, and very flexible. We started our day very early at 6:30 AM and finished around 7 PM and he didn't complaint at all about that long duration. He offered me great recommendations on how to make my itinerary much better. First, he told me that we should start with Bali Swing in the morning so that it's not crowded then he advised me to go to Jungle Fish as I was asking him that I want to go to a place in Ubud that have an infinity pool. Here's the itinerary that we did together: Bali Swing then Rice Terrace then Ubud (Pura Taman Saraswati (Water Temple) => Puri Saren Agung (Ubud Royal Palace) => ubud market => monkey forrest) then Jungle Fish. Overall, DEWA was amazing. The day trip with him costs 550,000 IDR for South and Middle part of Bali.
