Review Body: It was a wonderful and memorable experience! With sufficient and friendly guidance, I had a comfortable and enjoyable time. It ran without any artificial or excessive feeling. The atmosphere of the private studio was nice, and it was unexpectedly wonderful to be able to walk through the village along the workers' paths and explore natural materials. I hope more people visiting Chiang Mai can experience this program.

Itinerary

Itinerary Day 1
Itinerary Summary: Eco-printing workshop: gather plants, print on fabric, steam, reveal unique nature designs
Itinerary Description: Welcome participants: Briefly introduce eco-printing and its environmental benefits. Discuss materials: Show different leaves, flowers, and plant materials that can be used for printing, explaining their unique patterns and prints. Prepare plant materials: Discuss the types of plants that work best (those rich in tannins), and help participants prepare them by cutting or arranging them. Lay out the fabric: Spread the fabric on the workspace or table. Arranging plants: Show participants how to arrange the plants on the fabric, making sure to place the leaf side down. Encourage creativity in arranging the plants in different patterns and layers. After arranging the plants, carefully roll or fold the fabric to tightly pack the plant materials inside. Secure the bundle tightly. This will ensure that the plant material stays in place during the steaming or boiling process, allowing the print to transfer onto the fabric. Boil for 45 minutes to 1 hour. During this time, participants can relax, discuss their ideas, or learn more about eco-printing. Once the time has passed, let the bundles cool down for a few minutes. Then, carefully unroll the fabric to reveal the plant prints. Discuss the different colors, patterns, and textures. Each print will be unique, and some prints may have lighter or darker shades depending on the plant material used. After unwrapping, gently rinse the fabric in cool water to remove any excess plant residue. Some participants can use a bit of vinegar in the rinse to help set the prints. Let the fabric dry naturally. Once dry, the eco-prints will be ready to use as art, home decor, or even wearable items.

Koi and Noo are the warm and thoughtful couple behind Dip Dye By Noo, which they started back in 2019. Their journey began with traditional tie-dyeing, but concerns about health and the environment led them to switch to natural dyes during the pandemic. Noo taught himself new techniques through endless experimenting, determined to create beautiful pieces that are safe for both people and the planet. They also work closely with local artisans, putting traditional skills at the heart of their designs. Beyond their shop, Koi and Noo run friendly workshops and events, helping others learn how to create sustainably. Their small business is built on simple values: care, community, and respect for nature.
