You’ll work with a simple frame loom and naturally dyed yarns. It’s very beginner-friendly - no craft or knitting experience needed!If you’ve been looking for a way to experience Chiang Mai beyond the usual tourist spots, this is a perfect craft workshop that's a beautiful way to connect with Thai culture. Great for friends, couples, or families - Rada is great with kids too!About the SpaceThis space that this workshop is held at is also incredibly beautiful and meaningful. It's located in Chiang Mai’s Old City, with lots of natural light, surrounded by courtyards, art exhibitions, and a quiet museum. With both parents as architects, they grew up surrounded by thoughtful design and handmade details—especially Thai textiles, which their mum collected for over 30 years. Their passion for craft and culture now guides every project they take on, from restoring reclaimed teak buildings to curating community-led workshops and exhibitions. They collaborate closely with local artisans, not just to showcase their work but to help preserve traditional skills. Their approach reflects a quiet, consistent commitment to nurturing Thai heritage, creating spaces and experiences that are warm, welcoming, and respectful of people, culture, and the planet.
