Review Body: This tea ceremony such a calm respite during our trip in Hanoi and we learnt a lot! (Interestingly I did a tea ceremony in Japan a couple of weeks ago and this really reminded me of that - but even better. Everyone knows about Japanese tea ceremonies but hardly anyone knows about Vietnamese ones, which made this extra special). The space is gorgeous - in a beautiful family-run tea house, and it's really zen. You start with a Tibetan singing-bowl meditation to get settled, then learn to taste the tea the traditional way (one cup for fragrance, one for taste, one for the aftertaste) with little Vietnamese sweets alongside (one of ours was made by a family who've done it for six generations!). What I loved about this was how thoughtful it all is. It's run by a real tea master (one of the ten tea artists in Hanoi!), and everything they do here is so deliberate and artisanal. They told us about their ancient tea trees (which are hundreds of years old). They also let us taste their lotus tea, which is only found in Vietnam, and is originally from Hanoi. It takes around 2,000 lotus flowers to make 1kg of lotus tea! I loved the whole experience so much, I bought lots of tea to bring home. Just go in knowing what it is: a slow, meditative ceremony built around one tea, not a tasting of lots of different ones. If you want to genuinely slow down and learn, you'll love it. Perfect for a quiet, mindful hour.

Review Body: Lovely host and hostess. We chatted Vietnamese tea culture, wild 20m tall tea trees and the price of cars (4 billion!). The process of making the tea is an act of patience and love taking over a year to properly infuse. Contrary to Japanese tea ceremonies (a solemn ritual of strict decorum) or Chinese tea ceremonies (a measuring contest of clout through flowery pomp and circumstance), Vietnamese tea is meant to be shared and enjoyed together. Review Body: This was a beautiful experience. The place was lovely. The tea ceremony started with a little meditation and then continued to be so relaxing and such a special experience. The tea itself was really good but so was the chance to talk with the host, lessen about the tea and the tea ceremony itself. She took her time and we never felt rushed. It was a little oasis in the middle of a very busy hanoi. I would definitely recommend this.

Review Body: The session was well led by Mrs Tran who introduced me to the cultural tradition of tea in Vietnam with large pictures of picking tea leaves in the mountains and the forests. Then, we both religiously drank little sips of lotus tea. I could connect with the sensory experience of meditation. Meditation is not a mind control, but an opening of the senses and the heart. Tea is a pathway towards this opening.

Review Body: This was our favorite thing we did in Hanoi. The tea ceremony was so special and spiritual and made us feel so relaxed. The environment is beautiful, with lush plants and a cozy courtyard. There was even a friendly little cat! The tea was delicious, and we loved learning about how it’s made and all the hard work that goes into it. This is a true artisanal shop and a must visit while you’re in Hanoi!

Review Body: This small tea shop next to the Temple of Literature feels like it is in the depths of a forest, thanks to the dark wood decor and array of plants in the small courtyard at the back. This makes it ideal for the peaceful atmosphere best suited to tasting delicate and fragrant Vietnamese teas the traditional way, with multiple rounds of tastings each bringing out a different sensory experience.

Review Body: one of the most relaxing and educational experiences you could have in hanoi's old quarter. from in-depth explanations of the tea-making process to the ceremony itself, where we got to learn about its etiquttes and of course, drink delicious tea and even try some complementary snacks! making tea is truly a commendable art form and i have a newfound respect for it through this workshop :)

Review Body: My partner and I wanted to try local teas and this is the perfect spot. We emailed ahead of time and were able to join a tea ceremony with the owners and learn about their tea-making process - highly recommend this if you have time! Yen and Hung care deeply about their tea and their tea practices and are so welcoming to everyone who stops in. This is a must-do for tea lovers in Ha Noi!

Review Body: Everything about this was just perfect! The tea house is a beautiful, serene space in the chaos of Hà Nội. I loved the guided meditation to settle you into the space, the smelling and tasting of the tea, finding out about how it is grown. And the tea lady, unfortunately I forgot her name, was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Can’t recommend this enough!

The teacher was knowledgeable and was able to bring out a sense of serenity and peace to this hour long session.
