Thailand’s best dive sites in one great value liveaboard journey
This 5D4N liveaboard diving trip is hands-down one of the best ways to experience the full underwater magic of Thailand’s North Andaman Sea. Unlike quicker trips that skip spots, this one gives you the perfect balance between adventure and downtime – with 15 dives across all the top sites: Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, the Boon Sung Wreck, and the world-famous Richelieu Rock (often called Thailand’s best dive site!).If you're serious about diving and want to see it all without rushing or burning loads of leave days, this itinerary is perfect. You’ll be on a purpose-built, sturdy steel-hull liveaboard that’s designed just for this – comfy, spacious, and steady even when the sea’s a bit lively. With space for just 22 guests, it’s social without ever feeling crowded. Plus, there’s plenty of space to chill between dives – from the sundeck to the indoor salon decked out with AC and entertainment, it’s all set up for serious relaxation. This is ideal for certified divers who want the full North Andaman experience, not just a quick splash. You’ll love this if you’re into small dive groups, pro-level gear, a super caring crew, and dive briefings in multiple languages. Whether it's your first liveaboard or your fifth, you'll feel completely taken care of — from the amazing Thai food to the crew helping zip you into your wetsuit! What to Expect5D4N liveaboard diving trip with 15 dives across Similan, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock & Boon Sung WreckAll equipment included – BCD, regulator, computer, wetsuit, torch, and moreDive insurance and National Marine Park fees includedSmall dive groups with one experienced instructor or divemaster for every 4–5 divers, guided in multiple languages.Free transfers from both Phuket and Khao Lak (including the airport)Delicious buffet-style meals, snacks, fruits & unlimited drinks throughout the dayAir-conditioned communal areas, relaxing sundeck, and private cabinsDive Sites & Marine Life HighlightsKoh Bon – Manta Ray Hotspot: Famous for its manta ray cleaning station, Koh Bon is the top site for spotting Oceanic Manta Rays, especially from February–April. Divers can also encounter leopard sharks, reef sharks, moray eels, octopus, cuttlefish, and vibrant reef fish such as sweetlips and trevallies. The site features a dramatic wall and ridge covered in soft corals and sea fans.Koh Tachai – Big Schools & Pelagic Action : Known for its strong currents and impressive underwater pinnacles, Koh Tachai offers exciting dives with large schools of barracuda, trevally, fusiliers, and other hunters. Occasional sightings of manta rays and whale sharks occur during the season. The site also hosts nudibranchs, shrimps, and healthy soft coral formations around massive granite boulders.Richelieu Rock – Thailand’s Best Marine Biodiversity: Richelieu Rock is one of the richest dive sites in Thailand, renowned for its extraordinary diversity of marine life. Expect huge schools of fish, barracudas, snappers, trevallies, and seasonal encounters with whale sharks. Macro lovers will find ghost pipefish, seahorses, harlequin shrimp, frogfish, nudibranchs, and countless critters hidden within soft corals, anemones, and sea fans.Boonsung Wreck – Fish Clouds & Macro Haven: This shallow wreck is packed with marine life, often so dense you can barely see the structure beneath the schools of snappers, fusiliers, batfish, and trevally. The wreck is home to moray eels, porcupinefish, lionfish, scorpionfish, rays on the sandy bottom, and a wide variety of nudibranchs and small critters — perfect for photographers and macro enthusiasts.Similan Islands: Feature multiple world-class dive sites such as Elephant Head Rock, West of Eden and Christmas Point. Expect colorful soft & hard corals, turtles, reef sharks, barracuda, trevally, moray eels, and plenty of macro creatures like nudibranchs and pipefish.Good to KnowDiscover the best of the Similan & Andaman dive sites, where vibrant reefs, big fish action, and stunning pinnacles start from 20–30 meters. To enjoy every dive to the fullest, we recommend having your Advanced Open Water (AOW) certification and don’t worry if you’re Open Water (OW), you’re still welcome on board! You can easily upgrade during the trip with a Deep Adventure Dive (valid for 1 year) or the full Advanced Open Water course. It’s a great way to level up your skills while exploring some of the most beautiful dive sites in Thailand. If you’ve done fewer than 30 dives and haven’t dived in over a year, a pool refresher is required before joining (The session available as add on)The dive team speaks English, Thai, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Hindi and Norwegian.
