Review Body: This was our second tour group booked through Seek Sophie and once again they did not disappoint. From the moment we booked, the service was amazing. Everything was as it said it would be, including free pick up from our hotel and no hidden fees to pay once we met with the tour guide. Our tour guide Dylan was incredible from the get go, creating a warm, friendly and welcoming environment as soon as we met, which was reciprocated by all staff once we arrived on the boat. The food, facilities and service on the boat could not be faulted and even exceeded expectations. All activities were fantastic, our only criticism is that many other tour groups followed the exact same itinerary, so we arrived at the different locations at the same time as many other big groups. Slightly changing the schedule or even considering slightly different destinations, would take this tour from an 8/10 to a 10/10 as it would reduce the crowds of people at each destination.

Review Body: Lovely boat , friendly staff, excellent guides , great food - the 3 day program was perfect, high season so busy, but still a fab experience - the snorkeling was amazing, Manta Rays the highlight but lots of lovely coral, fish and turtles - the baby sharks were very cute. The sunrise trek was beautiful and well worth doing and the Komodo dragons were amazing - lucky to see a male and female mating- huge dragon at 3 m long - plus saw three others!! Loved meeting the different nationalities on board and lots of fun visiting pink beach, diving off the boat and seeing the fruit bats and sunsets! Would highly recommend this trip

We fit so much in to the two nights and three days, the staff were amazing, so attentive, Roland our photographer was great and the food was sensational. Boat was in great condition and so nice to come back to a luxurious cabin between activities. We had an amazing time!

Review Body: First of all: the trip was amazing! We really really enjoyed it. We loved the boot, the crew and the amazing food! We do have some comments, that's why i'm not giving the 5-stars. The tourist traps where a bit of a pitty. It started with the sunrise hike the first morning. We left too late, had to queue in a long line to go to the top and the sun was already up. In my opinion this was a shame. Choose to go really really early and make it when the sun comes up and before the crazy chaos of people, or go another day when it's less crowded (if that's even possible) or skip this part and try to find another spot. We were also really late at an island where the first photoshoot was made, it was already getting dark when we arrived. Another feedback point is chill more, the program was kinda busy and we missed some time to just chill on the boot, jump in the water or go supping. Would be nice if there was a bit more time for that. Ofcourse we had enough time to chill when we were sailing, but a bit more time for swimming around the boat would have been nice :) And than a last feedback point from an interior designer point of view: Get rid of the plastic plants, fake flowers and the plastic balls around the bed. Without those details it will look way better and more luxurious.

Review Body: Altogether, we had a wonderful and memorable experience! Our crew was great, our cooks were fantastic, and our fellow sailmates were SO much fun. The itinerary was a perfect balance of rest, eating, and activities. This area of Indonesia has spectacular snorkeling! Unfortunately, even with "SeekSophie", July is high season and we were surrounded by tourists at almost every stop. One stop we didn't even go to because of the amount of tourists there. So, the amount of people everywhere was pretty disappointing, but that was basically the only disappointing part. It seems most boats more or less have the same itinerary. As with any boat, the lower deck rooms will not be as nice as the higher rooms (engine sound/smell/less hot water, etc.). I did not find anything very special about the Semesta and would not necessarily recommend THIS specific boat/itinerary, but the trip as a whole was really worthwhile despite the crowds. Would recommend!

Review Body: A great stay of 2 nights, we saw many animals: a ray, turtles, thousands of fish, the dragons of Komodo. The food was really very good and the crew of an unforgettable kindness. However, we slept very badly, our room being located just above the engine, we were not the only ones since many went to sleep on top of the boat. It is not normal to pay so much and not be able to sleep, we have selected this company for its "luxury" side to be sure to be able to sleep well. It's a big failure for the room but we would like to thank the crew once again.

Review Body: Comfortable boat with lots of different spaces to relax. Get to see lots of different things in Komodo islands though only get a hour walking on Komodo island to see the dragons themselves so if you’re looking for a richer experience, may want to consider different options (though most boats seemed to follow the same pattern. Food was amazing and staff so lovely. No alcohol on boat so if you do fancy a drink for sunset, bring sone along.

Review Body: The agency seek Sophie has been very helpful and kind. But I have many complains about the boat, the staff and especially the guide. The boat was very different compared with the pictures: older, smaller and with less beds and sofas in the shared areas. The lower rooms were extremely small and dirty, no sink, so we had to brush our teeth in the toilet wc using a small bottle of water. unacceptable for a luxury experience.. .. as it is advertise. The organization on the boat was very poor. The fridge was always empty and we always have to ask to refill. No knifes available, only spoons to cut the meat or fish or to spread the Nutella on the Bread 😅. The toast bread was always white and not toasted. the food was extremely hot and spicy and some of the guest have eaten only fruit, ice cream and chips during 3 days. The guide told us that was working for that tour since a long time, but it was like he didn’t know anything about the places where we were going, he was telling us to wear shoes when there was no need and not to bring the snorkeling kit when io stead there was the perfect reef . In more than one situation he totally disappear, leaving us alone for more than 1 hour without the possibility to go back to the boat. When I ask led where he was he just reply ‘ I was swimming in the opposite side of the island ‘. Luckily the guest group was very nice, so the general experience has been funny.

Review Body: Date: October 2024 Room: Jupiter (superior) Boat: Semesta Voyages Overall opinion: 2/10, would NOT recommend Truth be told, I was definitely expecting much more out of this trip. The landscape, the snorkel and the spots we visited made it all worth it, but the experience itself is far from being “luxurious” and the crew is not well prepared. This is a long review, hope it helps fellow travelers. About the room: unlike what is shown in the blueprint, superior rooms were located right next to the engine room and the noice and the smell (yes, I said smell — fuel smell) make it impossible to sleep in. Luckily, we were the only people in the lower deck so we could change rooms to one further away from the engine for the second night — although the door did not close. About the toilet: no sink, no curtains, shower above the toilet, no water pressure and terrible odor (this last bit applies to all the toilets in the boat). One would think that at least the crew is well prepared. Surprise: they are not. We were never introduced to the captain and safety procedures were not explained at any point of our 3D2N trip. Besides common sense, we had no idea of what to do in an emergency situation. Not less important: our “tour guide” Epit barely spoke English (or spoke at all, for that matter). We basically went on a solo trip, with a person who would let us know when the food was served, what time to be ready for an activity and what the name of the places we visited were, but nothing else. No information about the flying foxes, the national park, the Komodo dragons, the villages, the marine life… nothing. During our Komodo tour our local guide did not speak English either; luckily one of the guys traveling with us was Indonesian and was able to translate some data to the rest of us. One important piece of information about this tour: you are not allowed to choose the trekking option you want (between a short, medium and long trek). Instead, you are obliged to choose one with your group, which is not very fair for anyone (you might not want to walk a lot and be forced to do so, or might want to make the most of your trip but be stuck with a 20min walk if the majority of your group prefers to do that). On top of it all, one of the highlights of the trip was hiking to the top of Padar Island to see the sunrise: we did not make it. Allegedly, the current was “too strong” but funny enough, by the time we arrived, the bay was full of boats that had been able to get there on time… just not us. This was only one of the times the crew showed their lack of organization. There were also some other minor issues that are worth mentioning: no beverages (besides water or soda) are provided for breakfast — no tea or coffee —, the WiFi does not work, the crew smokes in the dinning area at night. On the bright side, the common areas where comfortable and nice, beach towels were provided, the food was amazing (thanks to Jubert, our cook) and Aldi, the photographer, was pretty cool and took some awesome pics and videos (cámara, drone and GoPro) which he shared the day after the trip ended. Overall, the place is mindblowing and made up for the issues onboard. However, I would NOT recommend Akassa / Semesta Voyages to anyone.
