3D2N Komodo boat trip with a rare sunset itinerary to Padar Island
This is one of the few Komodo boat trips that takes you to Padar Island at sunset instead of sunrise, letting you skip the usual crowds. So you can relax and take in the sunset views without the rush. And besides the classic highlights like trekking with Komodo dragons, visiting Pink Beach, and seeing bats fly out at sunset on Kalong Island, you’ll also visit Siaba (Turtle Island), often missed by other trips, where you can snorkel with giant turtles if you're lucky. One great thing about this boat is that all the cabins are located either on the main deck or upper deck - no lower deck rooms! So you'll get to wake up to beautiful sea views no matter which cabin you choose. Even the dorm-style cabin, that's great for solo travellers and is typically located on the lower deck on most boats, is on the main deck and comes with an ensuite bathroom too. There are plenty of spaces to hang out on the boat, including three decks and two hammock lounge nets at the front. It's perfect for travellers who prefer a small group - the max capacity is just 11 guests, making it intimate enough to get to know everyone and become friends after three days together.Guests also love the dedicated onboard photographer, who’s skilled with camera, GoPro, and drone photography - so you can just enjoy the trip while they capture the memories! What to ExpectSail around the breathtaking Komodo National ParkHike to the panoramic peak of Padar Island at sunset (rare!!)Swim alongside graceful manta raysRelax on the iconic Pink Beach, known for its unique pink sandSnorkel in hidden coral gardens teeming with marine lifeEncounter the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitatWitness the magical spectacle of thousands of bats taking flight at sunsetGood to KnowThe Komodo National Park Authority has issued new regulations which require visitors to preregister and pay for their park fees in advance in order to secure their entry, previously park fees were collected directly from customers on the day of the trip. As a result we have included the national park fee into the price of the listing as of 2 March 2026.Itinerary may change due to weather or park regulationsCabin Details3 double bed sea view rooms with en-suite bathroom and hot shower1 dorm room with bunkbeds and private bathroom and hot showerChild & Infant Pricing:Infants (below 2 years old): Free of charge.Children (2 years and above): Same pricing as adults. Meet your host
Adel first visited Komodo in the early 2010s and immediately fell in love with its rich marine life. As a passionate diver, she saw an opportunity to build a life and business close to some of the world’s best dive spots. A few years later, she invited her sister Erli to join her, and together they’ve been growing the company with care and purpose. Each new boat they've built is named in memory of their late father, reflecting the deep family values that guide their work and their commitment to meaningful, authentic travel experiences.
