Embark on a 2D1N Mt Rinjani Summit Hike in Lombok.
The 2D2N Rinjani Summit Climb is the shortest route to the summit of Mount Rinjani in Lombok, Indonesia. It's a challenging hike, suitable for intermediate hikers. This includes one night's guesthouse stay before the hike, and a 2D1N night up the summit of Mount Rinjani via the classic Sembalun route. Why choose thisWhat makes this experience special is the expert guidance of your guide Rudy and his team, who are some of the best in Lombok. They really ensure visitors are well taken care of every step of the way. Rudy has some of the best guides in town, and every tiny detail is taken care of for you - from making sure you have the right equipment for the climb to making sure you have some of the best food to eat even on the mountain!Who is this for: This is the shortest summit route so if you're an advanced hiker and want to summit Rinjani quickly, this is for you. What to expectOn day one, visitors will be picked up from Anywhere in Lombok and then check in to the guesthouse and have time to relax before beginning their ascent the following day. The next day you will begin the trek, and start in Sembalun village, passing through several checkpoints before arriving at the Rinjani Crater Rim camping site for the night. On the second day of the trek, the adventure continues with an early morning hike to the summit of Mount Rinjani, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. After returning to camp, there will be breakfast and a visit to Segara Anak Lake before concluding the trek in Senaru. This includes guide fees, meals, camping, equipment, and one night of accommodation before your climb at Rudy's Guesthouse so that you'll be well rested before your climb!About the Sembalun RouteThe quickest way to reach Mount Rinjani's summit is to do a 2-day / 1-night option from Sembalun. This route takes you to the Sembalun Crater Rim for the night before heading up to the summit of day 2. Once at the summit, you would head all the way back down to Sembalun to end the trek.During high season from July to Mid of September, best to book 15 days before as the National Park ticket will be limited.

Meet your host
Rudy first started as a porter on Mount Rinjani, and saw how his beloved mountain was polluted by trash. Eventually, he saved enough to start his own guiding company. Determined to make a difference, he trained his guides in responsible practices to address the mountain's pollution. His team not only cleans up their own waste but also that of other groups, setting a positive example. Rudy's skilled guides went on to establish their own responsible companies, creating a network of eco-conscious businesses in Rinjani. By choosing Rudy's team, you're not just getting an amazing climb, you're directly supporting a cleaner Rinjani and a more responsible tourism industry.
