Exciting 3D2N Kinabatangan River Safari
If you’re after proper wildlife encounters, not just ticking off touristy sightseeing spots, this 3D2N Kinabatangan River Safari is for you. You'll be deep in the Bornean jungle, cruising one of Southeast Asia's most wildlife-rich rivers — where pygmy elephants, orangutans and proboscis monkeys call home. This isn’t just a chance to spot Borneo’s Big 5, it’s a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and experience the rainforest in a way few do.
Many river tours only offer a quick glimpse and a couple of cruises. Here, you'll do four river safaris (two at dawn, two at dusk — the best times to see wildlife), two guided night walks, and a jungle trek, all with passionate local guides who know the land and animals like the back of their hand. You’ll also stay at a cosy eco-lodge right on the riverbank, with homely meals and warm hospitality that past travellers keep raving about.
This experience is perfect for travellers who are genuinely excited about observing wildlife, not bothered by a bit of rustic comfort, and ready to embrace the quiet thrill of the jungle. Families with older kids, nature lovers, and photographers will love this. Don’t expect fancy — that’s not what this is about — but do expect unforgettable memories.
