Review Body: We are locals and we could have gone to Ubin ourselves really but we decided to go on a guided bicycle tour of Ubin so that we will not have to stress over where, when, how and what and just enjoy ourselves. Jeff was as friendly and genuine as all the reviews descibed- more like a friend! He is knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the island and now we know how to to tell the different trees apart and what is the plant that attap seed ( yup that little chewy nut in our ice kacand dessert) comes from. He also made the mangrove so interesting and impactful . Nothing beats when you have someone to show you and get your questions answered there and then! Something you will miss out when you do without a guide. We were so fortunate to see a wild boar up close, lots of macaques( careful your bags) and mangrove crabs and many other wildlife while all under the watchful eye and care of Jeff ( with his hiking sticks and good comfy bikes with 7 speed shimano gears ,litepro cranks, cushy fat saddles and handgrips). He also tailors his tour route to suit your fitness level and is also a fantastic photographer and we had many great family shots done by him! We had engaged many top Tripadvisor local guides in our trips to Beijing,Bali and Taiwan Hualien and we are extremely proud to recommend Jeff as a top local guide of Singapore!

Review Body: We recently had the pleasure of joining the "Singapore: Discover History & Culture of Lion City by Bike" tour, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Derrick, was fantastic. Despite the large group, he managed to keep us all together and entertained for the full 4 hours, which is no small feat! Derrick shared an impressive amount of facts and tidbits about Singapore, making the tour both fun and informative. We learned so much about the city's history and culture that we left feeling much more connected to the place. What really stood out was Derrick's personal touch. He even went the extra mile to create a little PDF for us with recommendations on things to do next on our trip, which we found incredibly helpful. Overall, it was a very educative experience, and we're so glad we chose this tour to kick off our Singapore adventure. Highly recommend doing it on your first or second day so that you can then choose wisely about where and how to spend the rest of your time.

Review Body: We started off early in the morning at 8am but in my opinion, it was the best time to start off the trip as the weather was cool and the tide was low. Our guides, Jeff and PS, were very passionate and knowledgeable in sharing the circle of life on the island and in particular the mangrove in Chek Jawa. We enjoyed learning more about the history, the people, interesting plants and the wildlife there. Jeff also reminded us about the need to preserve these mangroves and the entire island life of Ubin for generations to come. He very attentively prepared walking sticks for us in areas that might have been a slight challenge for us but it was actually a breeze to hike up Puaka Hill with rewarding views to boast! Overall, a very enjoyable trip even for Singaporeans like us. Highly recommended!!

Review Body: An immersive and very thoughtful way to enjoy Singapore- our guide James couldn't have had more energy for the history of his beloved city. He was fun and funny and very passionate about the places we visited. The tour itself is well organized with quick stops for quick bites along the way, as well as hydration breaks and perfectly timed bathroom breaks in thoughtfully chosen establishments. Its a lovely tour to familiarize yourself with the city, and had we had more days following this tour, we would have known about many other places to check out. Also, James was so kind to whatsapp message us other ideas for food, views, and more unique places to visit during our trip. I highly recommend this bike tour! It was exceptional.

Review Body: It was an enjoyable experience! I learnt a lot about Singapore despite being born and raised here. Made me realise how much I’ve taken for granted as well. Got to take in the beautiful sights around Singapore that I have either never seen before or paid much attention to. Jeff was constantly looking out for my safety while crossing the roads/streets as well. He even helped me to take beautiful shots and showed me the best locations to take a scenic photo! Although I went alone and was initially very intimidated, it was a very comfortable and fruitful experience as Jeff is a very friendly guide. Please do not worry about going alone if your friends don’t wish to join you.

Review Body: Jeff was the tour guide for the Ubin bike tour and he made sure to take care each and every one of us on the tour to make sure we are safe. It’s definitely worth doing a tour with him as you get to learn little fun facts about the island (and flora and fauna) which you may otherwise miss, if you come on your own. The trails can get a little hilly so be prepared to sweat. As Singapore weather is unpredictable, be prepared for both rain or shine, pack some snacks and lots of water, and have fun on tour with Jeff! Reminder to be on time (better if you are early), it’s just basic courtesy to the rest of your group members. ;)

Review Body: We were guided by a knowledgeable and fun loving Jeff! He showed us the other side of Singapore le that many of us, the youngsters didn’t know about!! Jeff made the entire adventure so fun and comfortable. We rode for about 17km, but don’t worry if you’re not a seasoned cyclist because the bike was very comfortable, and he made many stops along the way to take photos, storytelling or just resting. He also always ensure the safety of everyone especially when crossing the road. Not to mention, he also took amazing photos!! Highly recommend this activity if you wish to rediscover Singapore!

Our guide Jeff did his best to accommodate our family's requirements for the tour, and conducted a tour that was informative and interesting. Review Body: (1) Our guide, Jeff, immediately offered his mobile phone for hotspot use. (2) Jeff made recommendations on where to go, what to do, and what time is best to do specific activities. (3) Our bike route passed by streets, bridges, alleys, tunnels that one would not normally pass by when walking or taking the public transportation. As a former resident in Singapore, I truly enjoyed this part and it felt like I was seeing the city state for the first time again! (4) I liked hearing Jeff's stories re: history and culture of Singapore. (5) Jeff took awesome group and individual photos!

There were good picture references of how certain sites looked back then, and how it developed till now. Our guide (Jeff) was insightful, patient and attentive to our group. Review Body: Attended the pulau ubin cycling tour (4/4/21) & got to learn a lot more about the history, & biodiversity to this little island. Jeff, guide for the tour, was a very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable person. He shared with enthusiasm about the landscape, flora & fauna we see along the journey. Was supposed to attend the session on March, but my partner fell sick the night before. Upon knowledge, of that after we missed the march session, he offered to reschedule us for a subsequent session even though he didn’t had to (since he wasn’t notified in advance).

Review Body: the old district and new riverside places in this manner. The bikes used were excellent quality and guide said they were all built by himself! Impressive! Suited for the young and old. Highly recommend the tour for the activity and ability to see singapore central in a relatively safe manner by bike. While some of the places had to cycle on the road,s, it did not feel dangerous as the guide helped to stop the traffic. Excellent value tour though the commentary can be better. Be proud to be IN Singapore and be proud OF Singapore and it’s way of life!

Review Body: This was an incredible tour! I wish I had planned it earlier in my trip. Our tour guide, Derrick, had a passion for Singapore that shone through and I learned so much about the history, culture and best spots to visit. From the founder Raffles to the diverse cultural villages now and the , to the modern sites of the Formula 1 track with stops along the way to cool off hydrate, and have a local snack! This was my favorite excursion my whole time here. I would recommend everyone visiting Singapore to take this tour.

Review Body: My husband and I spent a most delightful day on a bike tour at Pulau Ubin with Jeff, our guide. Jeff is everything you’d want a guide to be. Deeply knowledgeable about the island’s history, wildlife, floral and fauna, we saw much, we learnt much. From fiddler crabs to cicadas,, through the mangroves and lush forest , to beautiful vantage points for Nat-Geo worthy photos, Jeff’s keen eyes help us see what we would otherwise have missed. We’ll be back with Jeff to explore other parts of the island for sure.

Review Body: Thank you to our guide Jeff for wonderful half day tour. Me and my husband have enjoyed the scenery, the knowledge and history about Kampong time Jeff has shared. Without asking Jeff also offered to take photo every nice location. I’d recommend this tour for anyone that fit to take distance walk because you will be walking through muddy road and climbing uphill. Remember to bring mosquito repellent and wear proper footwear. I’d love to attach some of the photos I took but the size was too large.

Review Body: Enjoyable group Island Bike Tour in Ubin. Jeff was meticulous in choosing and helping us choose our bike and arranging height of seat and ensuring safety all the way. He conducted an educational tour and showed us how to identify durian tree from the leaves. Was surprised to see rubber trees, fig trees and herbs grown on the island. On the mangrove swamp we saw mudskippers,crabs and lobsters. And witnessed wild boar roaming on the island! Very glad I joined the tour! Recommend Jeff Wee highly!

Review Body: My hubby booked the trip for all 4 of us ( with a 14 y.o and an 11 y.o.). We brought our own bikes and helmets. Jeff was our tour guide and he is very knowledgeable and caring. He made sure we were always safe and guided us carefully along roads and pavements. He explained the history behind many of the monuments and roads and we learnt a lot! It's quite amazing how we can ride through the 4 main living quarters in the early Singapore! Thank you Jeff, for the wonderful experience!
