Review Body: My four friends and I attended the diarama lamp workshop as part of a bridal shower programme. We had a great time, even for those of us who were not much into plants and craft. Firstly, this is not your typical terrarium workshop (which many corporates like to do). The workshop is held in a cosy studio with warm mood lighting and relaxing background music — good vibes for a special occasion! Secondly, you get to work with premium materials, many of which are imported or handmade. Thirdly, in addition to an insightful intro presentation by the host, each of us were closely guided along during the hands-on process. And most importantly, all of us walked away with a diorama lamp that we were really pleased with. Mine is now sitting on my piano in my living room and I think it enhances the space. Finally a workshop product that I’ll actually keep and happily use/display! The hosts, Joachim and Heidi, were really knowledgeable about their products and were able to engage participants who had no experience or prior interest in the field. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an interesting and non-conventional group activity, or for couples who are looking to create something meaningful together!

Review Body: I booked a diorama lamp-making session, and it turned out to be such a meaningful and enriching experience. We learned so much about preserved moss - both the process and the possibilities of what can be created with it. The workshop itself was really enjoyable and therapeutic. We had the freedom to choose our own waterscape, rocks, and figurines, and bring everything together into a personalised lamp, all with thoughtful guidance from Joachim. He was patient, encouraging, and clearly very passionate about what he does - never rushing us and always reminding us to take our time, knowing that art is a process. Earlier that day, the trainer reached out to check if it was a birthday activity. At the end of the session, he surprised us with a muffin and candle to celebrate my sister’s birthday, making the experience even more special and memorable. Just wanted to say a big thank you once again - he’s truly one of the sweetest and most dedicated trainers I’ve ever met.

Review Body: Attended a lamp terrarium workshop at The Mossiah and it was a really nice experience. The workshop started with a simple explanation of how terrarium making works, before we got to design and build our own from scratch. There were quite a lot of materials provided, so it was fun to choose what to use and put everything together. Our trainer, Joachim, was engaging and helpful throughout the session. He also went around to guide participants one-to-one, giving suggestions on how to improve the design and how to plant the materials properly. We also mentioned beforehand that we were celebrating a birthday, and the hosts surprised us with a cupcake during the workshop. That was a really thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable workshop. Would recommend it if you’re looking for something hands-on and creative.

Review Body: My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the moss mood lamp workshop that was hosted by Joachim! We enjoyed the free and easy experience of making our own custom backdrop, with Joachim guiding us whenever we had questions or challenges in developing our designs. Though it can be expensive at first glance ($150/pax), I believe that the package is justified, especially since it included a briefing that explained about the different materials that went into the workshop and the origins of them, giving you a quick but insightful look into moss art. At the end of the session, we had an artistic & practical piece of equipment, and a memorable experience too. If you like doing terrarium workshops, want to do a unique and practical experience, or simply want to learn more about naturalistic art, do consider this workshop!

Review Body: I thoroughly enjoyed the session together with my girlfriend at the workshop with trainer Joachim, who was very patient throughout the workshop, giving his full attention and time to us as well as the other three participants. He was very open to letting participants freely explore their own ideas and was generous with his suggestions on how we could improve our setup. He was also always ready to lend a helping hand, while not forgetting that he wanted the participants to use their own hands to complete the artwork. It was certainly a very artistic experience and made my partner’s day totally enjoyable. It is definitely two hands up from me, and I highly recommend signing up. We will return to learn more about what Mossiah has to offer.

Review Body: The mossy lamp workshop was so fun! The lamp I completed was the perfect house warming gift and fit into my friends house so easily. I like that I was able to say that I made it for them for the personal touch element. It was a little overwhelming in the beginning but the workshop facilitators were extremely helpful and gave us so many pointers. The steps were easy to follow thanks to them and it was extremely beginner friendly as someone who had never worked with moss before. On top of that, I learned so much about moss! Who knew it was such an intricate plant even when preserved. Highly recommend! The workshop is PERFECT for any parties, anniversaries or bonding activities—or even on your own for a self care session.

Review Body: This is one of the coolest workshop I’ve attended and it’s been nothing less than amazing. Loved that the session not only allowed me to bring home a beautiful piece of artwork, I also learnt a lot during the interaction where the host shared about preserved plants processing, what’s the difference between the types of mosses used and lots of tips. The material used are also good quality imported from different parts of the world. So..Just sit back, relax, and start building your miniature world, if guidance is needed - host is super patient so no worry at all! Highly recommended to try out this experience with friends or anyone you want to have a memorable time with :)

Review Body: Mossiah Singapore! I went with both my children, and they absolutely loved the terrarium-making experience. The session was well-organised, informative, and fun from start to finish. Wagon was fantastic, he provided clear guidance and shared great information, checking in on us regularly while still giving us the freedom to explore and create our own unique pieces. The ambience was beautiful, with just the right lighting to make the whole experience calm and inspiring. Our finished terrariums turned out spectacular! Review Body: My wife and I went to The Mossiah workshop to as part of our wedding anniversary celebration. It reminded us how fond we both are of creating beautiful art pieces with our own hands. Joe, the host, welcomed us and guided us through the process of creating our own moss art lamps. The workshop space is very peaceful and pleasant. After a short instruction and presentation we were given free rein of the space and the materials. It was quite a zen moment for the two of us. We left with two gorgeous lamps, thanks to the incredible quality of preerved moss, wood, and flowers. Thank you, Joe, for helping us along the way!

Review Body: We went on a Saturday afternoon and had the most fun & therapeutic time! We were lucky to have Joachim guide us, who was so friendly and knowledgeable, sharing with us the different processes of moss preservation and helping us along the way when we needed. He also emphasized ‘not to rush art’, so that made the class more enjoyable as well ☺️. The relaxing space, intimate class size and generous amount of materials provided made it extremely worth it and you get to take home a beautiful lamp-scape afterwards. Review Body: I brought my wife to do a miniature diorama lamp using preserved moss. The atmosphere was lovely, the space was done up really nice to make you feel comfortable and zen when you’re crafting your miniature work. Excellent experience with Joakim and Ze Ming they were very friendly and helpful with all our queries. They even took photos for us and animated a video of our characters in our diorama. They were also nice enough to prepare a small muffin with a birthday candle for my wife . All in all an excellent experience for us to escape our everyday life for a bit. 100% would recommend

Review Body: We had so much fun assembling our moss lamps and learning more about moss! The team at The Mossiah are behind many of the largest moss installations in Singapore and their journey to bring more moss to Singapore was very cool. This was also such a unique experience. They also went the extra mile to make my friend's birthday very special, which we were very grateful for (the small touches really matter!!). Their after-care service and communication was 10/10, very considerate, responsive, and helpful. I'll be returning to buy more moss and will be gifting this to more people.
