Review Body: There is a lot to like about the experience. Some memorable moments: -being told to jump over giant forest ants, something I won't even see or consider if I were on my own -spooking a colugo and learning that they are closer relatives to primates not lemurs!! -seeing a pair of glittery eyes through the thicket and Dennis saying "that's sambar deer". I've seen sambar deer in a national park in India, where they are the food of tigers. To think that a small population exists here and that our forests can support them is kinda crazy. -seeing the endemic jade tree snail Dennis is a personable guide. He's friendly and knowledgeable, but doesn't commit the common error of loading guests with too much information. He has a sharp eye. As we started walking in, he explained his interest and passion for observing biodiversity and how he self-taught to identify various flora and fauna, starting with insects and snakes and branching out to other species. AND he maintains this conversation while simultaneously hearing/seeing life around him. He was also accommodating of my schedule, offering to start the tour three hours behind the regular time. Overall it was a great evening that I've been telling my friends about. I am someone who deeply enjoys walking and being outdoors, but that night opened my eyes to the life that is around me. :) It's definitely worth exploring if you're someone who is looking to learn more about Singapore's endemic biodiversity and our forest ecosystems.

Review Body: Dennis was an excellent guide for our night hike. As a longtime Singapore resident and nature fan I was looking for a different way to experience some of the wild spaces. Dennis’s night time hike was a fantastic way to go do that. It was clear as soon as we met up that he really knows nature and has a passion for it. We had about a two hour walk on a very easy path, but without a guide there’s no way we’d have seen as many creatures as we did. We were thrilled to get a close up view of some scorpions, and the highlight for me, a colugo high up in the trees and a shy tiny mouse deer. Would absolutely recommend these walks. It was an unusual and fascinating evening. Good footwear and strong bug spray are essential. You’re mostly under trees so rain isn’t a huge problem. Good quality flashlights are provided and it’s all completely safe. We arranged everything very easily by WhatsApp.

Review Body: People (myself included) usually visualise of Singapore as primarily a cityscape without many natural plus points. Honestly, I was very skeptical as to whether I should try out this new experience, despite not having heard too much about Singapore's actual 'wild' life. However, this experience was definitely worth the effort of taking that first step into something new and adventurous. Regular commercial wildlife trips are fun in their own right, but this guided tour by Dennis made me feel like I wasn't talking to a tour guide, but a friend whose enthusiasm and knowledge was almost viral. Unlike the Zoo, the animals we saw come and go. In such a changing environment, I'll definitely be back again, hopefully with more friends who are still on the fence. They'll owe me one afterwards!

Review Body: We attended as a group of varying ages, from my 70 year old father to my 7 year old son. We met our guides Xiaoyun and Cec at Pasir Ris and there we set off on a two hour night expedition. We were blanketed in complete darkness, save for the flashlights our guides helpfully provided. It was a lovely two hour trek that felt shorter than it was as the guides pointed out creatures of the swamp that one would normally not catch in daytime. They were also patient with my seven year old and his questions about spiders, ants, telescopic snails, snakes, horseshoe crabs and crickets. Would highly recommend as en experience truly off the beaten path - I truly don’t think I have ever done anything like this before. And we’re game for another - maybe the intertidal walk?

Review Body: I never expected our little red dot to have such an interesting night activity. I know little about nature/animals, but this night walk really opened my eyes to a whole new world. We saw so many interesting nocturnal animals such as the sambar deer as well as the mouse deer!! It was really surprising because I never would have expected to see such animals in the wild, much less in Singapore. On top of that we saw and learnt about many interesting insects such as the roly poly, jade snail and the glowing scorpion ( yes, it’s real and I was was soooo surprised to see that). I really recommend this tour, especially to Singaporeans. As we are unable to travel overseas due to COVID-19, this is a good time to explore our little island!(:

Review Body: The experience was comfortable, easy and interesting. Our guide, Vivian, was very willing to share her knowledge with us and made an effort to spot as many creatures as possible. It was a small group of 5, allowing us to crowd around Vivian easily as she showed us what she found. To improve: Perhaps the guide can hold up a signage that says "Intertidal Exploration" so that the participants knew who to look out for instead of waiting around making awkward eye contact. Additionally, it would have been nice if we were given pamphlets on the creatures we could possibly look out for/see with some information of the creatures too. This is so that we are able to both listen to the guide and also read on our own!

Review Body: I have been living in Singapore all my life, yet I never knew that spotting animals could be done in Singapore! Dennis has proven that Singapore is a wild life filled Island. Walking on the trails at night sure brings a different kind of calming experience, like the ones you get during night dives (if you’re a diver you get what I mean :) ). I was particularly impressed by his ability to spot animals that could be easily missed. Dennis is also well versed in his knowledge for wild life animals which was evident when he shared about the defence mechanisms of the animals we saw. Will definitely do another trip with Dennis again, for snakes!

Review Body: My kids 5 and 8 loved it! We were at the Bukit Batok nature reserve and they saw spiders (including baby tarantulas), different breeds of frogs and toads, crickets, lizards, colugos flying, jungle roosters and even a fat rat! It was a great hands-on experience for them, being able to catch a toad (or two!), feel its texture and learn the differences between a frog and toad ‘live’. What better way to learn about Singapore’s rich natural habitat than through such an experience. Dennis was great with the kids and his rich commentary enhanced their learning multi-fold. All in all a fun, exciting adventure that left the kids asking for more!

Review Body: It was a wonderful first-time experience at night! Dennis was very knowledgable during the tour and I saw so many new creatures - spiders with egg sacs; scorpions, caterpillars and mushrooms which glowed in the dark; and even a pit viper! We even saw a hammerhead slug feasting on an earthworm on the floor. The time at night in the forest felt like a very different dimension from daytime - we were so sleepy by the time we came out, but that's because our eyes and ears were so alert from being outdoors under the night sky. It was cool and refreshing, and memorable for a long time to come :)

Review Body: This review is for two trips: the intertidal exploration and the ant & scorpion program. Both trips were well-run. Dennis is an extremely knowledgeable and eagle-eyed guide. He knows the trails and the environment well and does an amazing job finding/spotting different flora and fauna and explaining about each of them in great detail. Come with an open and inquisitive mindset. Also bear in mind that spotting the various aquatic life and nightlife is based on luck, so you may or may not find what you are looking for, only to discover that there are many other creatures lurking around.

Review Body: Dennis is well versed in his knowledge of wildlife and has plenty to talk about from his travels around the world. He could identify different types of animals in obscure places so you don't have to worry about missing any spots while walking with him. He's got a keen eye for detail especially in such a busy setting like a nature trail where snakes, for example, could be camouflaged in their surroundings. It was raining a little when I went but he accommodated well and made sure things could still run smoothly. 2 hours flew by quick without me noticing!

Review Body: This is the BEST night walk in Singapore! Dennis is very patient and detailed in explaining every animal we came across. You will be able to see many nocturnal animals or some you’ve probably never heard before. You will never believe a small island like Singapore have nocturnal animals! I definitely did gain some new knowledge about the wildlife in Singapore. Rest assure that it will be a very safe night walk as he looks after everyone’s safety too. I highly HIGHLY recommend everyone to go on a tour with him. I had a very unforgettable experience.

Review Body: "One of a kind" is what I would describe this experience! You wouldn't expect to see and learn about the rare wildlife of Singapore all in one trail. That said, Dennis is really sharp at spotting the unique sights nature has to offer at the nick of the moment! Which makes the trip that much more satisfying, as we actually get to see what we just learnt about moments before. Would definitely recommend this trail to locals and tourists alike, this is an experience that would be uniquely different Everytime!

Review Body: Our first boardwalk experience at pasir ris was led by untamedpath’s guide - Xiaoyun. It would not have been a fruitful and great learning experience if not for a guide like Xiaoyun. She was clearly knowledgeable about Singapore’s nature diversity and passionate in her job. She was also very patient with our two kids and their endless questions and satisfied their curiousity. Because of her, we cited several insects, creatures and learnt more about mangroves in a night. Thank you for the great experience.

Review Body: What an outstanding experience! My four year old son and I attended a night walk with Jie Yi who was so knowledgable and displayed such patience and care showing my son all the diverse species that live in Pasir Ris. I was amazed by the amount of wildlife, including reptiles and insects, and plant life that we saw and it captivated my sons attention the entire time. It has been the highlight of our trip. If you are interested in seeing the natural side of Singapore you must book this walk!

Review Body: From start to finish, one of THE best experiences our family has ever had! We saw colugos gliding from tree to tree and many more hidden gems along the route. None of this would have been possible without our amazing guide, Debra! Review Body: Gordon was a great guide on our intertidal walk at Changi. Went with our three kids and Gordon was super patient and entertained all their questions and enthusiastic sightings of rubbish (literal rubbish) and would get excited about kids finding special hermit crabs or shells and crabs. He engaged us well throughout the walk and could tell us a little bit about each creature we saw. Thoroughly enjoyed this and would recommend for first timers to the intertidal zone

Review Body: Not your typical nightlife activity in Singapore. Had a pleasant trek around the forests, observing the nocturnal animals such as the mouse deers and palm civets. Our guide Dennis was very informative on the various wildlife that were present and carefully guided us through the trails. He has a particularly keen eye for snakes and pointed out several species that could have been easily missed. Overall, a wonderful experience but be prepared to get wet and muddy.
