Review Body: One of the most amazing and unique experiences we’ve had while traveling abroad and we’ve visited over 120 countries. What truly made this experience so memorable was our guide Jully, he spent the whole day going out of his way to cater to our needs and we were quite demanding and not easily impressed. He arrived to pick us up 15 mins early but did not pressure us, he then took us to the closer and less used entrance of Tegenungan waterfall. When we got there, we could see people struggling walking down to the waterfall from the main entrance while it took us just a few minutes to reach the bottom from our entrance. Jully then took us to Tirta Empul holy water temple where he happily and patiently explained our numerous questions, which we had a lot of, in the car as well. Next we visited the coffee plantation and Tegallang rice terrace, where at both locations he seemed to know every one of the local staff and no one pressured us to buy anything, whcih made us comfortable and very welcome. We last visited the monkey forest, where he gave us the option to go to monkey river where you can spot the rare and sacred white monkey. We ended up going to monkey forest due to time constraints which we loved as we are animal lovers and the monkeys were very peaceful. For my wife and me, what made the experience most special was Jully’s knowledge of local history, his friendliness and his photography skills as we are both awkward at posing. We ended up using one of his photos for our wedding invitations for next year. Thank you Ubud Sunrise Hiking and Jully for one of the best experiences.

Review Body: We cannot thank Puta and his offsider Sugi enough for making this family day out, such a memorable experience. We were efficiently collected from our hotel in Kuta, on time and whisked away inland, in air conditioned comfort, to experience the highlights of Ubud. Monkey Forest with a guide to explain the majestic history of the forest, followed by a visit to the Tegallalang waterfall. 90 steps down, naturally felt like 180 steps back up BUT it was worth it. Even my 80yr old Dad managed it! We were driven to a beautiful venue for lunch, Warung De Coi, where we feasted on local fare and sat together at a traditional Balinese low table. We then visited a local coffee plantation where we sampled the MANY varieties of tea and coffee available and tried the famous Kopu Luwak. The day ended at the stunning Pura Tirta Temple learning about the symbolism related to all 3 of the sacred zones, within the temple, of the natural spring there, all the stunning statues, and the ceremonies that occur there and their meanings was a priceless insight into Balinese culture. A trip my family of 7 will treasure always. Thank you Puta, and thank you Sunrise Hiking.

Review Body: Gede (our guide) made our Ubud trip smooth, comfortable and memorable from start to finish. He contacted us (on whatsapp) the day before to confirm the pickup time, place and itinerary, then arrived on time at 8:15am. The itinerary was excellent, covering first 4 places which are Sangeh Monkey Forest, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Tirta Empul Temple and Sukabali Agro Coffee Plantation. Gede explained local traditions clearly, answered all our questions, and took many beautiful photos and videos for us. The best part was his suggestion to visit for our last location, Ulu Petanu Waterfall instead of Tegenungan Waterfall, which was nearer from our previous stop, less touristy and had a shorter hike (90 steps instead of 200+ steps for Tegenungan). The car was clean and cold, his driving felt safe, and this was truly a 5-star experience, or even more if we could.

Review Body: Angga was my guide, he made the experience really special! I definitely recommend doing this tour. It’s a great way to see multiple attractions in one day, in the comfort of an air conditioned car with your own personal guide. It felt safe and the tour was really cheap considering it includes all entry fees (besides the swing) and a full day of driving. I will say the only downside was the markets at the end of the temple, the stall owners can be quite aggressive in their pursuit of a sale. I wasn’t expecting such an intense mob of market stalls straight after a temple.. If I were to do the tour again i’d probably avoid the temple as it is all a little too commercialised for me, if you do go, my tip is to not take any cash through the temple markets.

Review Body: We had an amazing time exploring Ubud for the first time, and it was all thanks to our friendly and knowledgeable driver and tour guide - Domplo! He made sure we were going at a comfortable pace during the whole tour, reassuring us that it was our time to relax and to take in the beauty of Ubud. We especially enjoyed the Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall and Tegallalang Rice Terrace! Domplo helped us to take many beautiful photos (while holding our bags) throughout too. Review Body: I had such a pleasant experience in this Ubud private tour! I was able to visit all the Ubud highlights hassle-free as everything was already taken care of beforehand. It was also helpful having a private tour since I got to explore each destination at my own pace and at the comfort of my own vehicle. As for my guide, Yasa was a great as well! He patiently answered all my questions and shared information about each destination. He was a great help as well in checking on me and taking my photos as I was exploring (which was helpful given that I'm a solo traveller). Would definitely recommend this tour and Yasa as well to anyone who would want to experience the Ubud highlights!

Review Body: We booked the tour really late (like the midnight before lol) and are so grateful that the team were willing to accommodate us. The tour yesterday was amazing and my friends and I had a lot of fun! We had Gede as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the sites and was very helpful with informing us on local practices/rituals while visiting the sites. It was raining heavily half way through the trip and Gede made sure we had umbrellas and was still able to cover the tour despite the downpour. He also made sure we were safe - as this was important too, seeing we are an all ladies group. Would highly recommend. For the price, this was such a steal!

Review Body: We had such a wonderful tour thanks to Wayan! Right from the moment he picked us up, he was exceptionally kind, polite, and attentive to our needs. He took us to several fantastic spots throughout the day. One of our favorite stops was a quieter monkey forest outside of Ubud—it was so nice to experience the wildlife away from the massive crowds of the main sanctuary! The absolute highlight of the day, though, was visiting the Rice Terraces. The views were stunning, and Wayan made the experience even better by explaining everything to us the local farming culture. His knowledge and enthusiasm really brought the places we visited to life.

Review Body: Our driver Gede accompanied me and my friend to all the locations. Already on the way to the first location he provided us with a lot of information about the different cultures and languages in Bali and about the surroundings where we drove through. At the locations itself we also received really good information. This makes Gede a real professional guide instead of merely a driver. Furthermore, we had a lot of freedom in when we were ready to move to the next place, where and when we had lunch and what to do at the locations. It was a really interesting and fun trip today and we wish Gede all the best!! 😁

Review Body: We had an amazing day exploring Ubud with our guide Gede. Communication with Gede before the tour was very easy, and it was great that the itinerary was flexible and could be adjusted. We visited Tegenungan Waterfall, a coffee plantation, the Tirta Empul Temple, and finished our tour at the rice terraces. Gede was very knowledgeable about Balinese culture, and it was great to learn more about Balinese religious practices and customs. If you’re planning to visit Ubud, don’t hesitate to book this tour. Just keep in mind the time of year, August was very busy in Bali, and traffic in Ubud was a nightmare.

Review Body: Our family of 4 did the 8-10 hour private tour in the Ubud area, including the Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Agro Santi coffee plantation and Tirta Empul water temple. We needed to modify the agenda slightly so we missed out on the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, but were able to return the next day. Our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about each location and even participated in the spiritual water purification ceremony with us at the water temple. Each stop allowed us to spend the right amount of time there, which was perfect. I would definitely recommend.

Review Body: We loved our previous mount batur trek so much so we decided to book the Ubud Private Tour also. We had such a great day on the private tour. Our guide and driver, Intan, was fantastic - she was able to tailor the itinerary to include the activities and places we wanted to do/see. Intan was able to advise and provide local knowledge to any questions we had and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We would highly advise anybody visiting Ubud to take this tour and request Intan as their driver - we couldn’t have had a better day!

Gede has a very comfortable car and he is a good driver, we always felt safe with him. We definitely recommend Seek Sophie and Gede our driver. The destinations were amazing, we particularly liked the coffee plantation - it’s not just about coffee, it’s really interesting and a beautiful place. Review Body: Ketut was the most wonderful, friendly and kind driver! So welcoming and helpful, it felt like we were seeing Ubud with a friend. We like the same kind of music and he played us some Indonesian bands on the trip and told us about his family and life in Ubud which was lovely, and we talked about lots of things :) he showed us the temple and rice terrace and waited for us at other places. The Monkey Forest was so much fun and I loved seeing lots of places in Ubud with his knowledge. He also took lovely photos for us!!

Review Body: I had a fantastic day with Domplo. We had a busy itinerary, but he managed the schedule well and always made sure we were doing what I was interested in. Domplo was easy to talk to and was a wealth of information. I learned a lot about the places we visited and about the Balinese culture as a whole. Review Body: Gede was our guide and driver - he provided plenty of background information about the sites that we visited, including the cultural contexts, which was really helpful with appreciating the attractions even more. He was also very happy to answer all sorts of questions that we had on the car rides in between attractions, which we appreciated. Review Body: Had a lovely day trip with Yudi today, who took care of us through all the sites and arranged everything. Throughout the day he also provided a lot of knowledge about what we were seeing to us & to the kids. He was also a very safe and smooth driver in the Bali traffic which was impressive! Review Body: Absolutely recommend booking this tour! Did this with 8 other friends and we had a blast. It was amazing to learn so much about Balinese culture. Our tour guides, Ketut Ajus and Edi Selem, were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and flexible to our needs. There was one slight misunderstanding about our pickup time but the rest of the tour moved smoothly and we felt fullfilled with all the incredible sights we saw. The morning of departure, I was able to talk with my driver Gede and we redid the entire circuit together to better suit my needs.
