We had the best trip to the temples with our guide. He was very helpful and friendly, and always had water ready. He also suggested a really great place for lunch, and we got to taste the famous Luwak coffee. He handled all the practical details—like tickets and the special footwear we had to wear—and walked us right up to the entrances we needed to use; this was a great help, as the temple complexes are huge and very confusing to navigate. Once inside the temples, we had local guides who were incredibly knowledgeable about the sites. When we finished, our guide was ready to pick us up again. It was a truly beautiful experience, and the temples are a must-see if you are visiting Yogyakarta. It was also a real luxury having a private driver waiting for us whenever we needed to go somewhere and driving us to the next stop—we didn't have to lift a finger.
 Highly recommended!

Our first day on our very first trip to Indonesia. We had such a great time with our guide Harif. As I was interested in roadside plants, he told me a lot about different kinds of local trees and fruits, and we even had a chance to stop by a salak stall to try some.
