Review Body: We had two excellent experiences with this service. First, our driver, Wayan, picked us up from the airport and drove us to our lodgings in Ubud. He waited patiently while we claimed our luggage which was exceptionally slow. He greeted us with our name on a sign and a cheerful hello, helping us weary passengers into his cool, comfortable air-conditioned van. Wayan' s English is excellent and he shared helpful tips on how to maximize our stay in Ubud and offered to drive us to sightseeing destinations during our visit. Several days into our trip, we reached out and asked if he was available to drive us around central Bali for a whole day. He promptly responded and agreed to a reasonable fee. Wayan provided door to door service, including a golf umbrella he brought along because of a rainstorm that blew in during our day trip. He was quite knowledgeable about the places we asked to see and drove us to all the places we wanted to go. He suggested a traditional dance and gamelon music performance in his village of residence and delivered us there just as the show was starting. The performance was fabulous! Wayan was pleasant, professional, gracious and helpful all day long and met our transportation needs perfectly. We enthusiastically recommend him and this service to any travellers in the Ubud area.

Review Body: JJ accompanied us on two trips, the first one to see the two volcanos, Tirta Empul Temple and the Mother Temple Besakih, including also other four stops, at a Balinese compound, a painting gallery, a wood carving studio and a coffee plantation. All in one day! We (me, husband and our boys, almost three and five years old) enjoyed it very much! It was intense but very well organised and planned by JJ, who is really an expert tour planner, guide and driver. Between stops we relaxed in the car, so it wasn't too tiring, especially for our kids. We loved all the stops, but the highlights were probably the Balinese compound and Besakih. The kids loved the wood carving and the temples too. On the second trip JJ really exceeded his role, as he helped me a lot looking after the boys as my husband was busy at a conference in the morning. While I was visiting and shopping in an amazing Batik factory where JJ took us, he played with the boys, proving to have great patience and sense of care for kids (he's a dad of two boys too!). He then took us to see a rice terraced plantation and Ubud. Beside these two trips, he also organised our transfers to and from the airport with drivers from his team. He's very knowledgeable, flexible and punctual and prices are very very reasonable. Absolutely recommended.

Review Body: Myself and my friend decided to book a tour through our hotel as we wanted to see a little more of the Ubud area and we ended up organising a half day private tour with JJ Bali. Our driver was Wayan and he was amazing - he made sure he arrived a little early to pick us up and he drove us around for an afternoon to see some of the main attractions around Ubud. He took us to the Monkey Forest and Tegalalang Rice Terrace and accompanied us at both, and also dropped us at the Goa Gajah temple (elephant caves) and waited for us while we walked around at our own leisure. He even suggested that we go to a local coffee plantation which we did decide to do and it was amazing - we got to try so many different flavours of tea and coffee and learn about the roasting processes. Wayan himself is a great guy and is very friendly and so we felt completely comfortable and safe with him. We learnt a lot about Bali and the local culture from him and he was genuinely interested in ensuring that we had a good experience. He also has a great sense of humour! The whole experience was also very reasonably priced and great value for money. 100% recommend JJ Bali and Wayan!

Review Body: Jeje was a very helpful guide, who provided with a great tour itinerary at a great price. Not pressurising, and made us feel we could go at our own pace, and be selective as to where we wanted to go. Very good at communicating, friendly and patient. Jeje also has a good knowledge and can provide great advice.He wasn't personally available to pick us up from Denpasar airport, but arranged a colleague to pick up and drop off at our accommodation in Ubud for again a very competative price. With pick up and drop off at your accommodation as standard.Jeje, also helped us book our transfer to Gili islands for a very good price.

Review Body: We were lucky to spent a day with JJ after finding him in a random review while planning our trip to Bali. We asked him to plan a day for us ahead of time and he gave us two options to pick from based on our airbnb location and interests. We chose to do river rafting, see the water temple and rice fields. Our day was fantastic and JJ spontaneously also included a lovely lunch, a stop at the swings and the coffee plantation. While we were driving he was kind enough to also give us several great recommendations for dinner and ended up staying with us (driving us home and to and from dinner) until late at night to make sure we had a beautiful evening.My only regret is that we didn't plan more with JJ and didn't have more time to explore. He is kind, funny, a great fotographer and a save driver - not to mention his pricing was super fair for the value he provided.Highly recommend JJ to anyone looking for a great private guide. We will see you again soon friend, thank you!

Review Body: I just returned from my ninth trip to Bali and hired Manx Jeje for the first time (JJ Bali). Not only was he professional and personal, but he tailored my itinerary to fit exactly what I liked! He took me to places I have never seen before on any previous trips and places that I loved. In addition, he took several photos that I didn't even realize he took, and posted them for me afterwards. It was such a different experience than any other I had on previous trips. It was simply quite amazing!!!! Although I have had the same driver for seven years, I will definitely hire JJBali again on my next trip as it was a most memorable day! Review Body: I met JJ back in 2016 when we booked a tour with him, unfortunately it was our last day so we couldn't book with him anymore, however he was the guide we liked the most. On my next trip to Bali we arranged everything with him via Whatsapp. I told him what I was interested in seeing and he arranged it for us. Wayan was our driver and he was super nice and flexible. He taught us a lot about Bali´s culture and he even brought us to his home with his family where we had lunch and prepared the blessings. Also, unlike some other drivers, he went down to every waterfall to take pictures of us. At some point, he just took my phone and started pointing me to good spots for pics. I felt I had a personal photographer! I cannot recommend him and JJ tours enough and will for sure book them for my next trip!

Review Body: I've been travelling around Bali and various parts of Indonesia so I have met many, many drivers, and hands down JJ is the best. First day we met him luckily through the hotel we were staying at and he took us to loads of beautiful places around Ubud we would have never known! He's very fair with his prices and he's an honest guy trying to start a business in the driving section. He's so knowledgable and can advise great areas and locations for various activities. I've had some good, some bad experiences with various drivers... but JJ has been perfect from start to finish! I would only recommend him, he will be my go to driver whenever I'm in Bali :) P.S if JJ is not available he has a great friend called Wayan who does the trips, he is also extremely lovely!

Review Body: My boyfriend and I were fortunate enough to meet JJ, as he was our driver from Uluwatu to Ubud. JJ is so incredibly friendly, professional, and reliable. He also has a lot of knowledge about Bali so we chatted with him the entire trip. Later on during our trip, we were at Keramas Beach and had to get to Lovina the next day. Since it was so last minute in our part, JJ was already booked, but he sent us with Wayan. Wayan was also great! Really friendly and a good guy. We went from Keramas to Lovina, with a stop at Besakih Temple on the way. The prices are competitive and the drivers are fantastic. I highly recommend booking your driver through JJ. He’ll respond really quickly to you. We used WhatsApp to communicate.

Review Body: JJ drove us from the coast to Ubud and back again with another day of sightseeing in between. Traffic in Bali was hectic but with him we felt very safe. He was happy to answer all our questions and share with us his own cultural experiences and rituals. He is a very good-natured young man with a great sense of humour and excellent English (for many years of experience working in a resort). Just about everything we now know about Bali we learned from JJ! It was a great pleasure to tour around this beautiful island in his company. When my husband had a sudden attack of 'Bali Belly' it was JJ to the rescue , finding a minimart with a toilet in super -quick time. We really appreciated the care he showed us.

On this trip, we mentioned that we would like to do a day tour around the highlights of Ubud, so Wayan listened to what we like to see and experience and came up with the best day trip ever! He was a great driver, and even more importantly, he acted as a tour guide - explaining the local customs, teaching us some keys words, making great suggestions, and taking us to some amazing locations! Jeje was warm and friendly, and even after we parted ways, he gave some great ideas and suggestions of things to do and places to see. Review Body: Jeje is a great guide, honest, positive and very dependable, and his prices are very reasonable. We did 3 day tours with him and other drivers he arranged for us, Diwa and Tude, and were very happy with all their guidance. They were all very patient, trustworthy and knew the area very well. We didn't have a clear itinerary in mind when we arrived in Ubud and he planned 3 great day tours for us and showed us the best places in Bali. Although we had the second part of our trip in Seminyak, we still preferred him for the Southern beaches and Uluwatu tour. In short, JJ never disappoints, so I'll definitely keep his contact for the next time I come to Bali and highly recommend him to everyone.

Review Body: We had a great day with JJ in the Ubud area. He has a great way about him that makes him feel like a friend. Leading up to our tour, he was great with email communication and very flexible (we had to change days). We had a general day plan, but he made some changes on the go as we had already seen some things on a separate bike tour. JJ planned a river rafting, touring, and spa day. He took care of all the details and everything went smoothly. It was one of our best days in Bali (3 week trip!). JJ takes great photo too, and he has a good pulse on when to chat and when to let us be. I would definitely use him again. Thanks JJ!!

Review Body: JJ, Wayan and the rest of his driving/tour team were fantastic from start to finish. Leading up to the holiday JJ was so easy to communicate with (WhatsApp). I gave him a list of things we wanted to see/do and he came up with an itinerary built around us and having young children. If JJ was not available to drive personally, he’d send someone in his team who were equally as professional. JJ and his team were so friendly with the kids, drove safely and easy to get on with. I cannot recommend them enough. They really made our holiday so special making it stress free to visit hotspots and move between hotels/places.

Review Body: This was my second tour trip with Manx in three months. Like in January, his service was excellent!!! We were in communication several times before I returned to Bali. I would see a waterfall on instagram and send him the photo saying I wanted to go there. He would promptly respond and he was extremely patient with my itinerary changes. He took my daughter (18) and I to visit four different waterfalls in one day. It was perfect - just what we wanted. He also had several suggestions as to possible itineraries, which was nice. I will definitely book Manx Jeje again. He's a gem and he knows the island really well!
