Day 1: Labuan Bajo - Crystal Rock - The Couldron - Gili Lawa Laut
Labuan Bajo - Crystal Rock - The Couldron - Gili Lawa Laut

Today you'll see beautiful coral and colourful marine life on your dives

Accommodation: Per Leso - Cabin 1

  • 7am - Pick up from your hotel in Labuan Bajo
  • 8am - Sail out to Komodo National Park.
  • First dive at Crystal Rock.
  • Cyrstal Rock is known for its strong currents, with most dives beginning in the split. Temperatures here range from 23 to 28 degrees celcius. Max depth of 23m.
  • At Crystal Rock, you might spot sharks and small creatures like angelfish, grouper, damselfish, parrotfish, triggerfish, pufferfish, moray eels, surgeonfish and even pygmy seahorses. If you're super lucky, there might be a dolphin or two!
  • Crystal Rock's rock and walls are covered with an array of colourful soft corals and large fans.
  • Second dive will be at Couldron.
  • At Couldron, the current is medium to very strong, with temperatures ranging from 27 to 29 degrees celsius. Max depth of 20m+.
  • Coundron is famous for Rip currents, sharks, manta rays, reef fish, pygmy sea-horses.
  • Night dive at Gili Lawa Laut if currents allow. Currents can be swift here, though the bays themselves are good night dive spots, where you can spot some harlequin shrimp as well as a few other interesting marine life.
Day 2: Batu Bolong - Manta Point - Siaba Besar - Padar Island
Batu Bolong - Manta Point - Siaba Besar - Padar Island

Today you'll get the chance to spot Manta Rays and Turtles

Accommodation: Per Leso - Cabin 2

  • First dive will be at Batu Bolong. Temperatures here range from 27 to 29 Degrees Celsius. Currents are strong but safe zones are available for diving. Maximum depth is 30m+.
  • At Batu Bolong, you'll get the chance to spot sharks, turtles, reef fish, great macro, currents, pinnacles and an epic coral wall.
  • Second dive at Manta Point! Currents are common but it’s still a beginner-friendly dive site.
  • Manta Point is one of the sites with a high probability to see Reef Mantas as it’s the cleaning stations for the manta rays! This is a relatively large dive site, with rubble coral bottom and sandy areas as well with rich macro life.
  • Third dive at Siaba Besar, also known as Turtle Bay!
  • Currents at Siaba Besar are light to strong. Temperatures here range from 23 to 28 degrees celsius. Max depth of 23m.
  • For divers who love large marine life, as well as macro critters, Siaba Besar is a treasure trove! Other than turtles, this site boasts rare creatures like dugongs, flamboyant cuttlefish, sharks, cuttlefish and blue spotted stingrays. This also has the tiniest and most interesting creatures like miniscule pygmy seahorses hiding in a sea fan or even a well camouflaged frog fish in corals waiting for prey.
  • Sail to Padar Island and overnight.
Day 3: Mawan - Three Sisters or Secret Garden - Padar Island
Mawan - Three Sisters or Secret Garden - Padar Island

Today you'll get the chance to spot Manta Rays and gorgeous coral walls

  • Dive at Mawan. Here temperatures range from 26 to 28 degrees. It's known for muck diving so you'll get the chance to see many colourful macro critters here.
  • Even though Mawan is not as well-known as Manta Point for Manta Rays, it's a local secret that the likelihood of spotting Mantas is just as high in Mawan. It has white sandy slope with beautiful coral gardens.
  • Dive at Secret Garden, an incredible garden of corals with thick coral walls. Here and there you can also see rock formations covered with sponges and seafans.
  • The dive site often sees encounters with sweetlips, snappers, jackfish and mobula rays (often seen in large schools), and as well as larger marine life such as octopus, nudibranches, scorpionfish and ghost pipefish.
Day 4: Padar Island - Komodo Island- Pink Beach - Labuan Bajo

It was my diving experience and the difference was made by the instructor and the team of divers paradise Komodo. Our instructor took us to heart immediately and followed us step by step explaining each exercise in detail and giving us the right calm that is needed in a type of sport like this. We took the 3-day course and took the patent for the 18m open water. The emotions and enthusiasm felt in these days of activity have made us love this sport that we can't wait to get back to as soon as the chance will come again! Thank you very much Prima, you made this experience fabulous and unforgettable !!

Spent a day diving with these guys. Was very grateful as it was the only dive shop where you could sign up for the dives on the day. The experience was really good, Arthur was an excellent dive master, his control underwater in the currents was very impressive (I too am a DM). The dive sites in the centre of the park Police, Mauan and Tatawa Besar were beautiful. Well organised trip, boat was fine and so was the food. Nothing impressive but sufficient. Really enjoyed it but preferred much preferred diving with Uber Scuba, it was different class and well worth the extra €5 or so.
