This is where Singapore’s first dry gin was born.Before this, Singapore didn’t have its own gin. So Jamie, a local spirits geek, decided to make one. It took 6 years — learning from master distillers, experimenting with local ingredients, and getting Singapore’s first distillery licence approved.At this experience, you’ll step inside that story.You’ll tour the distillery, meet Nala (their copper still), and see how local flavours are turned into gin. Jamie Koh is the founder behind Singapore’s first home-grown micro-distillery. In 2017, she saw something missing- Singapore didn’t have a spirit to call its own. So she rolled up her sleeves and got to work, learning from master distillers in Germany, experimenting with local ingredients from wet markets and TCM halls, and even pushing for Singapore’s first distillery licence. Today, thanks to her determination, her distillery crafts uniquely Singaporean gin using Southeast Asian botanicals. Jamie’s journey wasn’t just about making a drink—it was about giving Singapore a spirit that truly feels like home.
