Review Body: Brought a friend to try this out. I personally find it fun and happy that i get to make my own drink! But i have low tolerance for alcohol so in the midst of the tour i went to the toilet and puked a little, thereafter i returned but still feel a little hard to stand still so i squatted. Aileen checked on me to find out if i was ok and also offered me a chair to seat but i rejected kindly. As soon as i got on the second level, another female staff (sorry i didn't get her name) came to me who was right at the back and asked if i would like to have some water. So i said yes. The fact that she came all the way to the back to look for me meant that Aileen must have informed her colleague. Before the start of the alcohol tasting, the same female staff offered me some chocolates as a base so my stomach may feel better. Indeed, it helped! The way Aileen speaks was also easy to be heard and understood. Though i have low tolerance for alcohol, i still find this tour an enjoyable one. Will recommend to my friends!

Review Body: Did you know that Singapore has a Gin distillery? We just experienced this and it was quite a delicious experience. We came to the Brass Lion expecting to learn a bit about gin. Aileen introduced us to how we can make our own singapore sling - imagine this drink was made for the ladies in singapore back in the day😉 The amount of alcohol in this drink is quite a lot- please do experience this. And then we had the tour of the distillery, and learned how the process works. Ended tasting 8 different variations of gin tastes. Tipsy and awesome 🙌

Review Body: The tour was interesting and informative, and the staff were so kind! They went out of their way to let us try all their gins (which were delicious), made us feel really comfortable and taken care of, and even surprised us with a baked Camembert for a birthday celebration. The place is beautiful, and it’s so nice to understand the story of a local gin distillery. I didn’t quite enjoy the Singapore sling I made, but that was probably a user error, and still a fun experience :)

Our mixologist taught us how to make a Singapore Sling using their own gin, and the brand ambassador explained what makes their product uniquely Singaporean. It was fun to make, delicious and doing your own cocktail and having taste better than bar creations a discovery. The distillery tour was fascinating. Our host Eileen was fabulous. Really brought the story telling to life.

Review Body: It’s a special thing to learn from those who are devoted to a craft. The tour was fascinating and they didn’t scrimp on the gin sharing. Brass Lion is a Singapore treasure and they make excellent gins for a variety of palates. A great way to spend an afternoon!

    To secure your spot, your host will turn away other guests. Because of this, cancellations aren't allowed.

  • Reschedule Policy

    Customers cannot reschedule. Customers can find replacement if unable to attend the session. Please not that we require a minimum of 5 persons for each Distillery Tour session and (this rarely happens), but in the event that we don't hit the minimum, we will work with you to reschedule your session.

Meet your host

Jamie Koh is the founder behind Singapore’s first home-grown micro-distillery. In 2017, she saw something missing- Singapore didn’t have a spirit to call its own. So she rolled up her sleeves and got to work, learning from master distillers in Germany, experimenting with local ingredients from wet markets and TCM halls, and even pushing for Singapore’s first distillery licence. Today, thanks to her determination, her distillery crafts uniquely Singaporean gin using Southeast Asian botanicals. Jamie’s journey wasn’t just about making a drink—it was about giving Singapore a spirit that truly feels like home.
