Such a great tour, took us off the beaten track and gave us a glimpse of the real Bali. Great food too and our guide Ben and Dude were wonderful.

We went on cycling the tour of the Ubud rice fields and it was so lovely. Easy cycling downhill most of the way with some fun parts off road through the village. Super interesting to see how Balinese live and we saw wonderful unspoilt rice fields scenery. Our guide give us great insight and it was well worth it.

Great day out! We enjoyed being able to experience the Bali countryside bikes. The tour includes a visit to a traditional Bali house, a chance to see a temple and cycle through rice paddy fields.
For those worried about cycling - don’t, it’s mostly a downhill coast with sections of easy off-road fun!

What a wonderful evening we had seeing the fireflies. Our host Wayan took us around the rice fields and explained the conservation they are doing in the area to help the firefly survive. We also had a tour of the organic farm and learned about the plants we could cook and eat, we then did some cooking in the kitchen and then we were served a delicious evening meal, the steamed banana with coconut was a great dessert. Our whole evening was very educational and a delight to be with this local family who are very passionate about nature, sustainability and the environment around them. This is a must do tour when you are in Ubud, Bali.

This is an informative and unique tour which is not to be missed. The family atmosphere and the openness and niceness of the hosts is very welcoming and makes you feel at home.
The firefly experience is incredible and makes you really appreciate the animal itself. The research team are very friendly, knowledgeable and open to questions.
Finally, the passion they hold throughout the whole tour makes you want to come back and see how their progress is.

It was such a lovely experience on bicycle & stopping at various locations to experience the local culture. We got to see a local’s house & full explanation of how it’s built & functions of each building. stopped at a coffee luwak place with lush scenery & a taste of 6 diff types of teas & 6 diff coffees. even got to see the luwak! the morn tea at firefly conservation area was amazing! the fried banana was spot on! Got to see the 2nd largest temple in bali & also cycled through the lush rice terrances! really enjoyed this tour! defo would recommend! We also had 3 kids on us & the tour guides were lovely & amazing! one of them ended up cycling our 7yr old as her fingers couldn’t reach the brakes! the lunch at the end though was the best balinese food i’ve had the entire trip here!
highly recommended! was honestly the highlight of my trip to bali!

What a great experience to get to learn more about local food and culture, and meet other people. The ingredients were freshly picked at market and on the farm, we learned how to prepare and cook the meals and then enjoyed multiple courses, all excellent. Highly recommend this
