We loved our experience. Our guide, Ty, was an absolute delight. He was so personable and kind and very funny! He was knowledgeable about area, as he is a local. We always appreciate that insider info! We were able to see the bioluminescent plankton, as it is there year round but is only really visible without light (so days without moonlight). We heard the best time to visit is May and September. We’d love to come back to see it in its peak. Everything was well organized and professional. The dinner was tasty and family style, like those in the tours of Ha Giang. We would recommend Ty or SeekSophie / Cat Ba Local to anyone visiting Vietnam!

Really nice easy pace cycle ride! Great to see the little oasis of call right in the middle of the city. So surprised to be the only person doing the tour, was super relaxing morning! Great stop at the market for breakfast and a coffee! Deffo would recommend if you want a break from the hub of the city. Beware there are two journeys on the road with a lot of bikes and cars, only short and guide is leading you however if you feel uncomfortable with this it’s worth considering. Well maintained bike and helmet provided.

It's a deep-dive into agarwood! For those really curious about it, you will leave satisfied. Also, the vegan lunch was divine. I prefer not to eat meat, and in a place like Vietnam where it seemed like every dish had meat defaulted in it, I really appreciated having the lunch that came with this experience. It was vegan and delicious, and I loved that we had it with the staff of the premise, as part of their normal lunch.

It's easy - just pick a gift experience, send it to your loved one at your selected date, and they will receive an email on the date you have selected! Gift experiences have a 1 year expiry so your recipient can choose any date during that year to redeem the gift experience. You'll also be copied on the gift email that the recipient receives so you know exactly when they have received their gift! :)

Can the recipient select their own date for the experience?

Yes, they can! Recipients have the flexibility to choose any date for their experience within a year of receiving the gift. It’s completely stress-free.

When will the Gift be sent?

You can select the date the gift is sent during checkout. The gift will be emailed to the recipient at 8am on the chosen date. The one-year validity period starts from this date.

How do I know when the Gift has been sent?

You’ll be copied on the gift email sent to the recipient, so you’ll know exactly when it’s been delivered.

Can Gift Experiences be exchanged for cash?

Gift cards are all about creating fun and meaningful memories! They cannot be exchanged for cash. But if your recipient prefers another experience, we can swap out their experience for a gift card.
