Review Body: My first time, my partner already had experience. First the explanations and the signs. Then you get into the suit and into the car with all the gear. And then the exercises step by step in about 3m deep water. That's where I panicked at a certain moment. And I wanted to go up. Our instructor (forgot his name, so so sorry) stayed cool. Signed me to listen and follow his example. I tried, yet wanted to go up. My hubby was relaxed waiting for us, sitting on the bottom. Once up, we spoke a bit, I calmed down. Under water he stayed at my side, knowing that my partner was super cool, really watching me, showing me the wonders swimming around us and growing back. Back at their spot they took the time to talk and listen what happened. We laughed at lot at that moment. During the second dive after the rest I was totally at ease. Went diving between 8-10m. So grateful that he helped me gain back my confidence and took us on this beautiful trip. We had a temple visit programmed for the next day, if not, we would have definitely gone with them to the wrack. Dedicated guys. Good English, They also have a French connection. Review Body: The Amed White Sand Divers is a really nice diving school in Amed. It’s owned by a local and managed by a German manager. The equipment is from well known labels like Mares, so state of the Art. The staff is very friendly and supports you as best as they can. The service goes beyond diving as well. Tips for restaurants, renting of a scooter and so on. The pricing is very fair and the service was excellent. After a trial diving I did my Open Water Diver at the White Sand Diving school. My instructor was also from Germany so I get an education in my own language which was really good. U. was a great diving instructor who enjoys what she is doing so everyone around gets happy aswell :) She was very patient with me and the other participant of my course. She was able to answer all our questions and did a really good job on our training. After my OWD I did some fun dives with a local guide. He was very kind and I felt pretty comfortable to go diving with him as well.All in all it was a great time at the White Sand Divers diving base. I really enjoyed my staying and can absolutly recommend this diving school for beginners and andvanced divers.I hope to see you again :)

Review Body: I did my open water diver course with Amed White Sand Divers at the beginning of July and absolutely loved it. Email correspondence with Holger beforehand was super swift and on the spot. Amed region is beautiful. The staff on site is extremely professional, while at the same time passionate about their job, always friendly and beyond helpful. During my OWD I was picked up from my hostel every morning and dropped back there after the course. (No need to drive a scooter, if you don't feel comfortable with it.) Before the course I wasn't sure whether diving would be my thing, but nevertheless wanted to try. My initial concerns were taken very seriously and my dive instructor Daniel walked me through the pool exercises and dives step by step, adapting the pace to my personal needs and always staying perfectly calm and patient. The dive sites in Amed - especially the Liberty wreck - are stunning. I enjoyed my first course so much, that after a few weeks and some fun dives in Komodo and Lombok, I returned to Amed White Sand Divers to do my Advanced course, which I finished two days ago. I can wholeheartedly recommend Amed White Sand Divers to anyone!

Review Body: Did 5 dives with Amed White Sand Divers - 1 night Jemeluk Drop off, 2 day USAT Liberty, 1 day Jemeluk Drop off, and 1 day Pyramids. All were great dives-- I basically was assigned my own guide for all 5 dives which was nice because it felt like a totally personal experience and I didn't have to worry about ruining anyone elses' dive (still going through air like it was beer, lol). The dive sites were all beautiful and saw some amazing coral and marine life. I was setup with quality equipment and actually was not used to everyone setting up the gear for me, so that was definitely something nice that happens in Bali. Was writing back and forth with Holger to organize and he was very responsive and gave me a very comforting feeling that I would be taken care of while diving with White Sands. Was even writing by whatsapp to do some last minute organization and very, very attentive. Wish I could have done more dives with White Sand!!

Review Body: Wonderful time at Amed white Sand Divers! We travelled as a family (Birgit 2 Star, Michael 1 Star, Chiara OWD). We talked to Holger bevor the vacation so everything was prepared for us. Nadine did a refresher course with Chiara at the first day because her last dive was 8 years ago. We felt secured and comfortable the whole time. The equipment was in good shape and the whole staff tried to make our holiday the best ever. The crew includes locals and Germans but everybody’s English is very good, so communication is no problem. The diving spots will make you speechless. Beautiful coral gardens, a few ship wracks and plenty of fish. Some highlights were sharks, turtles, an eagleray and much more. Our favorite spot is Bunutan, just a few minutes from the diving center. A big thank you to Holger, Sula and their crew for this wonderful vacation! We will definitely come back.

Review Body: I did the Liberty wreck dive with my teenage son and we both had a fantastic experience. My son was on his 7th discovery dive and had his own instructor who he really got on well with. I had my own instructor and first dive was around the outside of the wreck down to 28m and the second dive we explored some of the internal spaces in the wreck. I must explain that this was first dive after the dive site had been shut for a couple of days due to heavy swell which made pebble beach entry tricky. It was quite busy but the instructor made me feel at ease and very relaxed, we also seemed to avoid the other groups which was so good but still managed to meet up with my son in the cargo hold for a photo. An awesome experience and therefore highly recommended, thank you Holger.

Review Body: We only had a day to do a 2-tank dive at the USAT Liberty and the guys at White Sand took great care of us! They took the time to come to our Villa to discuss options and were very thorough and patient on the dive day with our family of 5. The divemaster even traded masks underwater for one that kept fogging up. That night after diving we happened to see one of the guys around 8pm at a local restaurant. I mentioned that my son's ear was hurting (unrelated to the diving) and they volunteered to go pick him up from our Villa and take him to the doctor. 15 minutes later my son had drops and meds for his ear infection! We were so grateful they were willing to help us so late at night when they certainly had no obligation to do so.

Review Body: Hubby and I did two intro dives with White Sands at the Liberty shipwreck and loved it. Bali’s underwater world is truly breathtaking. I was nervous but our instructor was patient and attentive and made the experience unforgettable. Being able to walk to the dive site from the beach and gradually go deeper made it easier as a beginner than jumping from a boat. I had issues with my mask being too big which unnerved me at first. Our instructor ended up giving me his mask which was a bit better and checked on me frequently underwater to help me get the water cleared. Now I know why people get custom masks made!

Review Body: First time visit to Amed, won't be our last. We have fallen in love with the people, place and the diving, a wonderful experience. Armed White Sands Divers are the best, we couldn't believe how well the guys looked after us. Diving as an experienced dive couple nothing was too much trouble, Putu sir you are a fantastic dive guide, your early morning tour of the Liberty wreck was unforgettable. Diving off Gilli was a real joy, Holger taylored our dives to give us the best dives of our trip, we loved the drifts. Nothing is too much trouble for Amed White Sands Divers, can't recommend them enough.

Review Body: I thoroughly enjoyed getting certified here!! Bol was our dive instructor and made sure to take the time to teach us everything we needed to know as well as emergency procedures. He was really patient and caring and made a person like me who was terrified of the ocean feel safe and comfortable. By our 4th and 5th dive we got to see the US Liberty Wreck, a huge highlight. Sasa and Holger, the people in charge, were really organized and easy to communicate with! They also sent us the pictures from the go pro they let us use, pretty quickly. U get so much value for the money!! Go diving here!!

The team is great - very friendly, comfortable in communication, all insctructions were very clear - you feel safe and confident from the very first moment with their explanations and support. Under the water you also feel totaly calm, because you have instructor by your side every second of a journey-he checks your condition, helps to move farward if needed, shows you if there's something interesting around.I had an incredable time and stronly recomend to share your experience with this team!

Review Body: Me and my friend did a first introduction dive at white sand divers. The instructor explained everything really thoroughly and made us feel comfortable. I had difficulties keeping my balance but the instructor paid attention the whole time and was putting more weights or helped us when needed. We saw such nice corals and fishes and enjoyed the two dives a lot. The instructor decided the next spot based on how comfortable we felt and what would be best for us. That was really nice. Holger was our instructor: I would definitely recommend him!

Review Body: Did 2 fun dives with White Sands at the wreck US Liberty, and it was an amazing time.We had the chance to meet Sasa who is very friendly and helpful. The equipment of the club is great, everything is well organized, all is prepared so you can just enjoy your experience, and our dive master was super, showed us many fish during the dive (turtles, scorpion fish..). Plus the price is very ok++ (compares to other place in Asia). I definitely recommend this dive club, and for sure will go with them if I go back in Amed.

Review Body: What should I say about Awsd?! This place is amazing! I was there already in 2018 for my first dive ever and I'm sure I'll come there again in the next years! Apart from the fact that the diving spots in Amed are amazing anyway, the whole process in the diving school was well organized and professionell planned. I have to say I was really nervous at first time. But the guides immediately took away my fear and gave me confidence! I had the best diving trip so far with theses guys! Fun fun fun. Review Body: I did the bubbles beginner course with my 10 year old son and it was really great. It was only the two of us and the course did a good job at combining theory and practical exercise both well calibrated to both my son and I. It was fun and we progressed fast throught the different steps in the speed we learned them in. The dives on the reefs at Vienna beach were amazing and we saw fantastic corals and marine life which left a permaned impression with both me and my son. Warmly recommendable.

Review Body: Diving School talking german and english as well. I upgraded my scuba diver to open water diver. My teacher,Daniel, was very friendly and spend enough time to explain me all exercises! So I get soon selfconfident withe the equipment and in the water. We dived at Lipha and Jemuluk and we saw so nice fishes and a beautiful underwater world! If I will be back in Amed, I would go again diving with white sand divers! Had a great time there :)

Review Body: I did my PADI Open Water certification here and had the best time! Before arriving in Amed, the management was very quick to reply to my questions via e-mail. My german-speaking diving instructor was super nice. We had a great time diving together in different locations over the three days I did the course. The Liberty Wreck was a highlight. I also got a discount on both the hotel (Amed Harmony Bungalows) and the PADI course!

All gear was of good quality and very experienced divers. Would recommend this dive company. We went scuba diving on the Liberty ship wreck so many fish and coral so much to see walk straight into the water off the beach and commence your dive. Very affordable price!

Review Body: We did 6+ dives with ‘Sexy Sasa’ who my husband and I really enjoyed diving with The locally owned shop has an office inside the Vienna Beach Resort as well as a full service dive shop in Lipah/ Amed. We dove the Pyramids, USS Liberty, Japanese shipwreck and other lovely dives. We saw octopus, turtle, eel, tons of beautiful fish & coral. Definitely a great team to dive with.
