Review Body: I visited No Fear in May 2019 for my Advanced Open Water course and added fun dives. I chose No Fear based on the name and the reviews, I love underwater world but was never really comfortable in the water and diving made me slightly nervous, so it was important to me to find a dive operator who would accommodate my needs. Dealing with No Fear was really good experience from pre-trip communication and discussions regarding special requests (larger tanks for my boyfriend, me being a bit nervous, our wishes to do wreck and drift dives) to my AOW and the fun dives we did after the course. The atmosphere is super welcoming and chill, not busy or factory-like like some large dive schools tend to be. We ended up hanging out and having coffee or beers almost every evening during our stay in Amed with No Fear. Since I visited No Fear I’ve feen diving a lot more and with many different diving schools, and I can sincerely recommend No Fear as a professional, passionate and truly customer centric dive operator. The instructors, except the owner Oli (who is pretty much the most zen person you’ll ever meet!), have changed since, but this is pretty common in the industry. Also note that No Fear is a PADI 5 star diving operator, unlike many operators in Bali/Amed that just have a sticker on the door but are not really part of any diving association (don’t choose those ‘schools’ even if they would be cheaper!). Special recommendation: drift dive in Bunutan! You’ll take a small fisherman’s boat to Bunutan (maybe 10mins), hop in the water, drift through stunning underwater world with small and big fish, an eel garden and beautiful corals. The boat will follow your bubbles and pick you up where you surface. Super fun! Review Body: No Fear Diving Amed did an absolutely AWESOME job getting my two kids started for a lifetime of enjoying SCUBA. Oliver helped set the plan up via email, setting up a complete package from airport pickup, to our stay at the lovely and private Amed Ku Villas right behind the shop on the beach, to a personalized dive plan that ended up being perfect for both instruction and fun. My wife and I used to dive a lot, but pretty much stopped once we had kids. Recently, I became aware children as young as ten years old can get a Jr. Open Water certification from PADI, so I set a out getting them into a course. My twelve year old was nervous about the idea of being many meters below the surface of the ocean, but instructor Wayan was a patient, kind, and deeply knowledgable teacher. He took the time to make sure our kids understood the theory required to keep them safe underwater and oversee their gear on land, plus that they could confidently perform all of the backup actions necessary if they should ever need it. This is a long review, but learning to dive properly is a big deal and this shop is serious about doing it right. If you want to become a competent diver, get a good start. The gear is in great condition (both newer and also better maintained between dives than any rentals I have previously used) and they even have the very small sized gear required for kids. In addition, support staff makes it easy to have a great day out. Putu did lunches, water, driving, arranged porters for the gear, and generally assured our comfort during our Bali vacation. I seriously could not imagine this trip to Amed going any better and the seamless teamwork and planning at No Fear Diving made it possible.

Review Body: We have had an AMAZING week diving with the team at No Fear. When walking along the street in Amed there are so many dive shops but No Fear caught our eye with its friendly staff out the front. Oliver the shop owner greeted us with kindness and flexibility. Our first two dives were with our dive instructor Sunday at USS Liberty. As newly certified open water divers Sunday was very helpful and reminded us of the skills we had learnt in the Open Water course. The dives were beautiful at the wreck. After arriving back at the shop another instructor, Jonas (who also came on the previous dive with an open water training diver) encouraged us to try a night dive the following day. Although slightly afraid Jonas ensured us that this dive would be peaceful and amazing. It was. Jonas was professional while also being thorough in teaching us important skills for the dive. The following day we had the pleasure of diving once again with Jonas and Oliver at Kubu which allowed us to progress to adventure divers rather than Open Water divers. We gained our deep adventure dive and our wreck adventure dive, both of which were incredible. All of the staff are visibly passionate and can cater to a wide variety of needs. We could not recommend No Fear Diving enough and hope to come back in the future. We also changed our accomodation to Amed'Ku in front of the dive shop which is also managed by Oliver, it has a fantastic view, ocean side pool and great location. Review Body: Great diving school under German leadership! In March 2020 I went diving with Ben from No Fear Diving in Amed, Bali. The first contact in advance via e-mail was very friendly, the answer came the same day. Also on site I was welcomed very friendly. The diving school is under German leadership, the diving instructor Ben also speaks German. The staff is very friendly and the equipment is great! Since I didn't dive for some time, I started two refresher dives on the first day. Ben introduced me intensively and comprehensively briefed me so that I went into the water with a very safe feeling. The underwater world is gorgeous. The two refresher dives were great. I had slight problems with drm pressure compensation on one ear. Ben was able to help me very professionally so I could keep diving well. On the second day I made two fun dives at USS Liberty (Tulsmbwn), a great experience for which you have to plan two dives because of the size of the wreck. Ben also made me a very nice video with his gopro, a great memory. He also has an instagram profile, you can find it under 'benwaterproof'! Diving with No Fear Diving, especially with Ben I can only recommend. Many thanks to the entire team!

Review Body: We love always so much to come back to Amed to chill out and to go scuba diving here. This time it was the best visit @ No Fear Driving in Amed ever! We stayed in the brand new beach villa "Amed'ku" serviced by No Fear Diving. It was awesome place to stay and to enjoy our scuba diving holidays. This time we did our PADI Rescue Diver Course. It was truly the best of all courses we did. Great fun and very challenging but rewarding @ the same time. It helped us so much to build up self-confidence as scuba divers. Self awareness and getting to know you own limits was a big point as well. Oliver and his team of experienced high level PADI instructors are doing a great job teaching with love ️ and , passion and patience. Everybody seems to be very happy to work with this company. We love the authenticity of this place and the people. What a great joint venture. We think about to say here next time for a whole month and to absolve our PADI Divemaster training. We can believe it ourself that we evolved with No Fear Diving from anxious underwater cripples to submerine elvs. We found our new recrational passion and discovered our deep love to the ocean. Thank you guys so much for everything.

Review Body: I planned to do a dive course throughout my vacation and visited a lot of diving centers to get a feeling for prices, quality etc. Although this center might not be the cheapest it’s high quality, the kindness and customer focus as well as the consideration of individual needs is more than compensating for the price. I attended the open water diver course and in advance of my decision many of my questions (also regarding some fears) were answered. I shortly felt safe and at ease with my instructor Jonas. He is a really nice dude who can create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which is important for a good dive. It was nice to talk with him. In the water he was just great - he explained everything in a understanding and calm way until I finally understood it, he was able to answer all occurring questions and explain things in different approaches and most important he had a way of transferring a calm attitude below the surface. I had the feeling I could complete trust him in the case of an emergence, which I think is very important for a good learning atmosphere and dive. Overall I can recommend this dive center completely!

Review Body: No Fear Diving is the perfect diving experience for people looking for a diving experience with a personal touch from the shop to the dive. Oliver has a extremely open and approachable nature who wants to make your diving experience as enjoyable as possible. Oliver and all the crew working at No Fear are all tremendously pleasant with only good vibes, these guys are here to have fun and educate their clients, none of what I experience with these guy felt like a job to them, just good people sharing a love of all things diving related. I did my open water diving certificate with Wayan who was patient and deliberate in all his execution and instructions. He took time with his students and showed confidence in them which I saw help them get through their trouble/anxiety and perform the tasks easily in the same session. I spoke to the other staff of which I didn't get the pleasure to dive with but I could imaging having similar experiences with. Oliver and the crew are the magic bullet for first time divers. if you are looking for personal experience with friendly genuine people look no further.

Review Body: I completed my PADI Open Water Dive course with Jonas Greiser while staying at Amed Ku Beach Villa, which is located directly behind No Fear Diving in Amed. At the beginning of my course I became anxious and almost quit the course. It was Jonas that really helped to calm my anxiety enough so that I could continue on the first day of diving. It was the continued encouragement from Jonas, Oliver and all the team at No Fear Diving that helped move me from being anxious in the water through to being comfortable enough to complete my dive course and further build my confidence in the water to the point where I can now calmly submerge, descend and dive without any problem. I would happily take my next dive course with them. The team at No Fear Diving are genuinely, very nice, warm and welcoming. Their service is above and beyond expectation, the equipment used is of a very high quality and their dive instructors and dive masters are very knowledgeable, very experienced, and genuinely care about the clients. My time with them has been the highlight of my holiday and a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

Review Body: I was always skeptical and a bit afraid when my friends talked about diving. Now I found the courage to try in Amed. Before we started we had a long talk with Olli (the owner) about what would be possible. Instead of selling the whole course from the start he offered us a trial for two dives and after that we could decide if we want to continue. Pretty good deal I think! Our instructor Jonas was very kind, calm and patient. My girlfriend wasn’t feeling that well during the first two dives, but he managed to calm her down and at least finish the dive with some nice views of the reef. Although she decided diving is not for her, I continued. I was very lucky to have one to one teaching for the next two days, which was awesome. Again very clear and good teaching. Jonas made sure I understood everything before actually testing the skills. The last two dives in the third day we’re at the spectacular shipwreck USAT liberty. It’s an amazing underwater garden and the perfect finish of my open water course. Thank you guys again!

Review Body: I’ve been diving for over a decade now but recently I’ve been on a couple of dives with companies who haven’t really cared much about making the experience safe and enjoyable. I decided to give it another try on this current trip in indo and checked trip advisor for a high rated dive centre in Amed where I was staying. No fear diving has a 5 star rating, and with good reason! From the initial point of contact via email they made everything really easy, making every effort to help me regain my confidence on the whole process. The equipment was new and well maintained and Tasha the instructor who took me out on my refresher and my first dive was superb. She was really professional and genuinely cared about me feeling confident and having a nice time under the water. A total super star . I’m so grateful to the whole team at No fear divers for helping me to rediscover my passion for diving and making sure I had a great day out- I really recommend to anyone to go diving with them-Thank you

Review Body: I returned now many times to No Fear Diving in Amed. Did all my PADI courses (Open Water / Advanced / NITROX) with them & now... it was time to become Rescue Diver. I did my your with Fräulein "Deutsche Tauchlehrerin" Anastasia which was great fun. The owner Oliver supervised the course due to the fact that Anastasia is still doing a training with No Fear Diving to learn about the wonderful dives sites in Amed. It was just great! I love that this guys are a kind a Germans. Everything regarding the scuba dive equipment is in order, clean & well maintained. In fact all the scuba gear, car & the shop itself are brand new. Especially the shop is very stylish and a nice place to hang out for a while to learn & to chill lax with the staff. Everybody of the staff is a kinda relaxed & kind there in an authentic way what seems actually not very GERMAN :-) ... Thanks to all of the staff from No Fear Diving for a very nice time in Amed Bali! I'll be back for my PADI DiveMaster next year!!!!

Review Body: We did some boat drift dives along the coast of Amed. It was awesome to go out with a little local fishermen boat. The character of this dive trip was pretty private. It was only the two of us with the instructor. We could chose the divesites freely. In between the dives we went to a beach reagge bar to enjoy freshly made mango fruit juice. We really had such a good time that we decided to go out for some more dives the next day. Here we went to dive the USA-T Liberty. This dive Center start the dives there from a shady private resort just in front of the wreck. This makes it pretty relaxed even though this dive side is pretty high frequented. The public entrance is pretty busy and a kind of dirty place. So it was really nice to go out with No Fear Diving. They really care to make the divev trips a pleasant experience. We thank Julia, Olivier and the whole team of No Fear Diving for their care. 5 Stars for them. Probably the best dive center in Amed Bali!!!

Review Body: I was diving for the first time and signed up for the open water dive course. Everything was great, we were two people and Jonas our diving instructor who is very kind, patient and explains everything in a nice and understandable way. Both two days were fun and I always had a safe feeling even when it took a lot of time for me to equalize. I can totally recommend this diving company and especially Jonas our diving instructor. The only small thing which was not perfect, according to the information our course should last 3-4 full days. As we did the elearning and had no problems with the exercises, our course ended after two days. For me it was no problem at the end because I could adjust my travel plan and cancel one night without any fees, but maybe for other travelers who spend only a week in Bali not perfect. As a total summary the experience was amazing and if you do your diving course you are in good and professional hands! :-)

Review Body: It was my first time diving, and No Fear Diving in Amed where the perfect place to begin. Oliver, the director, answered all our questions before our arrival and was very reagent and responsive. He has a huge experience to solve any problem you could meet ( even if it's medical). The diving gear is modern and well maintened. The environment is very serious, cool and done with passion, we are on holidays and we need fun ! Our PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, Jonas Greiser, did the job perfectly with professionalism, combining german rigor and australian surfer coolness. Jonas is very clear in his explanation and keep calm in every situation ( even when I broke the diving mask...) and it's really important and reassurant when you discover a new element and try to breathe under water. Moreover, he reminds to have fun even if it's a bit stressful for a new experience. To be short, I recommend warmly this place and this team !

Review Body: Our family (6 people) stayed in the 3 newly build rooms facing the seaside. Nice and clean rooms and very good and friendly services, including a good breakfast. This was my second time at No Fear Diving and last year Oliver helped me effectively to deal with my fears and I obtained my OWD cert. His business has expanded so you might get an another instructor. The other two, Tacia and Jonas are very good as well. The equipment is all brand new so that is a plus. This year I did the AOWD with my son which was a great experience. 3 other family members did the OWD course and except one passed the test. The only improvement comment I have is that you need to be very explicit upfront about the special needs (related to fears) and specifically ask to get Oliver to help with that to get the best possible outcome to deal with those fears. That is really his expertise and less so of the other instructors. The rest was excellent.

Review Body: If you ever wanted to Discover Scuba Diving in a safe way then No Fear Diving is the right dive school. It´s a PADI 5 Star dive center located in the heart of Amed Bali. The Staff is really kind & helps out with everything. They have brand new Scuba Pro equipment and they transport you in a very nice car with good music. Everything is very relaxed. The lunch they offer is organic & comes in reusable containers helping to save the environment. Also the drinking water is BALIAN springwater from the Agung volcano which I really liked. They reject completely Danone & Nestle products. The Instructors are all high level PADI certified which can be checked on the PADI webpage online. It´s a really good value for money compare to what other dive centers offer. We loved it & we will be back one day to undertake our Open Water Course with No Fear Diving. Probably the very best dive center in Amed Bali.

Review Body: I did with No Fear Diving a couple of scuba dive courses. Now i game back with my whole family. We stayed in the attached Amed'ku Serviced Beach Villa which was great. The villa was located right behind the dive school. My children did their PADI junior open water course with them. The scuba dive instructors are funny, profesional and caring in once. We have one special need child. The dive course was private without any other students and costomized for our kids. We are so thankfull that the instructor took care our children so well. It was geat seeing them having so much fun and adventure in a save and well supervised setting. This scuba dive course was better for our children then 6 month therapy could do. They gained so much self confidence and self awareness which was truly amazing. We wanna thank the whole team of No Fear Diving for their effort making our family holiday Unforgettable.

Review Body: Best school ever and amazing experience with No Fear Diving!, hardly you will find some better place. The owner was our instructor and he is a really great guy, he will teach you in a very personalized way to make you learn efficiently, safely and comfortably feeling like if your dad was teaching you. All of this with high german standards of quality and best materials! Learning scuba diving with him is a peace of cake, by the end of our PADI course my friend and me felt like fishes in water. The instructor went the extra mile always to help us as much as he could. We had really a great time with the owner, he has really fun stories to tell you and many years of scuba diving and life experience. Totally recommended, even if you never thought of doing scuba diving before!

Review Body: I did my Open Water Course in this centre and I had the best experience. Jonas Greiser, the instructor, was super helpful, always smiley and encouraging as well as in control of the situation and reassuring when we had any doubts or concerns. I felt safe every minute of it and got to enjoy the experience to the fullest! First two days we practiced all the skills in Amed beach and the last day we drove to the US Liberty Shipwreck in Tumbalen, only 25 mins away. Everyday we got to see beautiful fish and lovely coral. Last day we even got to see a turtle! Totally worth the time! Would also recommend to stay in the villa they have attached to the diving centre since service was also spotless there.
