Visit a coffee farm where you can taste a one of a kind, specially designed coffee varietal. Marwiyah, the owner of the farm and chief taste designer, has been developing coffee products since 2007 and has come up with this unique blend, the story of which she will share with you, while she shows you around the farm. At the end you will also get to plant a coffee tree! About Menoreh Coffee MochaThe bitter and sour taste of the Menoreh Coffee is closely related to the way it is grown. In the production of mocha coffee, coffee plants are planted alongside cocoa trees, creating a biological reaction between the two trees that affects the taste of the fruit. In addition, farmers always cultivate coffee naturally to maintain the quality of its taste. They use only organic ingredients for fertilizers and pesticides, avoiding the use of any chemicals. Therefore, processed mocha coffee products are healthier. Menoreh Moka Coffee is now nationally recognized as a unique varietal. What to ExpectUpon arrival, you will be welcomed with a drink and greeted by Marwiyah herself. Marwiyah will share her story of Menoreh Coffee and her personal experience of discovering Mocha Coffee. You will learn about coffee farming and the diverse approaches, characteristics, and methodologies used in coffee production. After that you will have the opportunity to plant a coffee tree, which Marwiyah will name after you.Finally you will try your hand at the process of turning raw beans into a cup of coffee - from roasting to grinding and brewing. Marwiyah will give you information so that you will be able to enjoy the subtle varieties of different coffee beans and preparation methods. ***If you are lucky, you can do some coffee picking during the harvest season which is April to June.
