The classes are very dynamic and participatory, covering every aspect of freediving. You will learn the proper techniques of staying underwater while controlling your breath. The time and depth of the dive increases as you get comfortable with the experience.

just spent over a month here with Julia, Ely, Emma, Nikki and Valentina.
 The water varied as it was rainy season but mostly had 10-20m visibility and up to 30m visibility in crystal clear water.
 Perfect dive conditions almost all the time! Plus seeing fish on most dives is a nice little bonus!
 The facilities, training gear and equipment all really good!
 A very short walk to the water from the school and a very short swim to the dive spot! &amp; fish in the first few meters!
 I did a few courses (L3&amp;4&amp;masters) and had time in the water with each instructor and everyone made me feel comfortable in the water, gave me lots of feedback, the instructor was my safety and followed me down for every dive which gives extra confidence and they can really see what you’re doing right and wrong and then explain what I’ve done and what I need to do!
 The instructors were professional but also making it fun every dive! I spent the last few weeks with Julia who took me to some new deep personal bests! Such an amazing advanced coach &amp; I look forward to many more PBs with her over the coming years!!!
 I improved my dives from my L2 course by an EXTRA 27m! (Leaving with a 52meter PB) and added 1min extra to my static (5mins20sec). Really amazing all round and thankful that I came here!

I booked a freediving trip after deducting that while a different rhythm from surfing, it would help me train my mind to being calm under big waves and deep water. The instructors from Apnea helped me prepare for our first dives with the greatest attention to detail. They help you do the proper breath up techniques while making sure you relax your muscles. He told us over and over that our fears of running out of breath were only mental and triggered by the vagus nerve. (Lessons are taught in equal parts technical vs anatomical) After moving on the the dive, the lesson continues in the water as the instructor guides and follows you down through each dive. Pushing you, And testing your boundaries but staying within your comfort zone. Its feel incredibly made-to-measure as each student will have different limitations to work out. Will definitely be coming back for more coaching and static clinic courses in the coming months!

I was a little bit scared at the start but coming to this school you should have no worries as you will be guided step by step. Never would I have thought to make it to 20 meters deep on my second day!! Plus, the nearby shipwreck is maybe the best place in Bali for a fun freedive!

I took the freediver course here and it was my first time ever going deep into the ocean, also my first time trying freediving. Not only am I very glad that I started freediving when I have zero experience in scuba diving, I'm glad that I chose Apnea Bali to start my freediving journey! I was a bit freaked out in the water since it was my first time, but the instructors were so great to help me calm down and keep being motivated. On the last day of course, we went to the shipwreck and the view was mesmerizing. I took the freediving course with Valentina and an additional coaching session with Nikki, they both were amazing! I love their approach to freediving. They teach freediving as a sport, a sport very different from all the other water sports. Thanks to them, I miss going into the water already! I'll be practicing the equalisation exercises I've learned until I go back to Apnea Bali for more courses!

Went to Apnea Bali for a master course, I was struggling with some issues that were stopping me from diving deeper and this was easily identified by the instructors and didn't take long for them to help me overcome this problems. Went from struggling to dive past 25m to being comfortable around 35 - 40m.

I definitely want to go there again to train more. The coaches were so fun and pro and so experienced, for me it's probably one of the best place to train if you want to make big progress in your freediving!

Apnea bali is super professional and truly gave me tailor made coaching sessions to improve and fine tune my dives. Great place , super instructors and beautiful water too! Their place is located super near to the dive sites and they have dive sites for every one ... shallow dives to deep dives! Definitely going back to train more with them!

I did the 2 day Level 1 freedive course here and it was unreal. Valentina was very patient and knowledgeable. The course was a good mix of theory and practice. No pool work, straight to the ocean which was great. I chose here because it was the only freedive course around Amed that seemed to dive the liberty wreck during the course. So glad I did that as the wreck was unreal with cool swim throughs. The instructor (Valentina) even captured some great GoPro footage and sent to our WhatsApp which was fantastic .
