Review Body: I was initially suppose to stay in Amed with my Open-Water certified boyfriend for only 2 days - enough time for him to enjoy the amazing Scuba sites in Amed. We visited another dive shop before getting to Jepun Divers and had not been impressed by the greeting we had received (it felt like they were doing us a favor...). The moment we got to Amed Jepun Divers, we knew we were in "trouble" and that we would have to extend our stay in Amed. The owners (Serge & Kira) welcomed us with open arms and it was clear to us that they absolutely loved scuba diving - they were extremely passionate and knowledgeable about scuba diving and within seconds, we were sold on their experience and on their people skills. Generally an anxious person, I was pretty scared about the whole scuba diving experience but it took little time before Serge made me feel very confortable and safe. His teaching and supervising skills were absolutely flawless - he had his eyes on me all the time which significantly and rapidly reduced my stress level. I would recommend him to anybody that is slightly stressed about scuba diving. My 2 first dives were absolutely amazing. Although I was only starting to feel confortable water - I had the opportunity to visit the Pyramids dive site and got to see many different underwater species, including white tip sharks and large turtles... absolutely breathtaking. I could not even believe that we were starting directly off the shore and that I did not have to do some "pool time" before - to me, that was a big plus. By the end of the day, there was no way that I was leaving Amed before completing my Open-Water certification and before discovering the other wonderful divesites, including the japanese ship wreck. In total, we spent about 4 days in Amed and got to see a lot of different dive shops around the coast. We quickly realized that Amed Jepun Divers was different from the other ones - it was not only a place where we could dive, it was also a place where we could crack open a couple of beers after our dives and meet divers (begginers and advanced) from all over the world. It became our "local" hang out place.Special thanks to Kira, Serge & Tristan - you guys are great! P.S. Food & Acommodation available on site !

Review Body: I don't know where to start when it comes to recommending Amed Jepun Divers!! These guys were beyond amazing from start to finish & have got us hooked on diving for life! We signed up to do our 3 day open water as a couple, I was slightly apprehensive & they went out of their way to make me feel relaxed at all times! could sit & write about these guys all week so here is a summary of the highlights: - Roxy our instructor was AMAZING. She is so enthusiastic all of the time & makes you feel really confident in the water. She also goes out of her way to show you a range of sea creatures! - They take you out into the water in small groups (it was just us as a couple with Roxy, which was great fun) - The dive sites are fantastic & they'll always ask what you're interested in seeing - Kira & Serge joined us on some of our dives. Kira took amazing photos that we now have as memories & Serge put together a fantastic video! -They honestly treat you like family. We spent a huge amount of our time hanging out with Kira, Serge & Roxy at Jepun divers. They went out of their way to treat us like guests & it was lovely making new friends! Let's not forget Peanut either :). - They made it really special when we passed our open water- you made us feel very special!' - The equipment is great & so is the dive centre! We loved diving with these guys so much that we as soon as we completed our open water we signed up to do our advanced course. Again, this was just as much fun. Roxy took us on a range of dives to practise our buoyancy & navigation skills. We also did a deep & night dive as part of this. I was adamant from the start that I wouldn't be doing a night dive & that is how fantastic these guys are...they'll make you feel confident to do anything (I was a bit scared by the giant pufferfish though haha!) To sum up: if you want to have a fantastic diving experience in Amed then you should 100% book with these guys & you won't regret it! Considering we have only done 10 dives, we feel super confident in the water & can feel the progress we have made. We're now planning on returning to Bali just to dive with Jepun before we return back to the UK in December. Thank you so much Jepun divers, you guys are beyond awesome!!!

Review Body: This is a relatively new operation, recommended to us by acquaintances. There are so many dive centres in the area, and they will all dive the same sites, so in that sense, they are all on par. They will also do mostly shore dives, with plenty of options to choose from, including Liberty wreck, muck sites, and other macro options. We have no experience of any of the other many dive centres, so cannot comment or compare, but this is what we experienced with Amed Jepun Divers. All the equipment is brand new and well cared for. The centre has a great view out to the ocean with a well-stocked fridge of beers and water for after, or between dives. If doing two dives in the morning, a traditional warung lunch is served between dives. This is an efficient but relaxed centre and we spent some great afternoons just chilling and chatting over a few cold ones. The dive masters know the sites well, and will arrange your schedule and dives according to your preferences. They are also one of a small few who meet to dive the Liberty early in the morning, which makes a big difference, as it is a popular site, and can get a bit crazy. We saw only two other divers in the water with us, and the majority arriving as we were leaving. We also did a great night dive. The centre is not only for experienced divers, as they offer various courses. The owners and all staff are friendly and helpful and provided many recommendations to eateries and bars, including live bands every night at different locations in Amed. This is a great dive centre, operated by great people, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and we have already recommended them to other friends and fellow divers.

Review Body: Kira and Serge were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating from the moment I sweatily lumbered up their stairs. It took me just a few minutes of talking to them to decide that I would be diving with them, and by the end of my stay I couldn't have been happier. I came to them with many requests -- night dives, wreck dives, muck dives, artificial reef sites, wall dives -- all of which they managed to pack into my cramped schedule. I grumbled when they insisted that we leave for Tulamben and the USAT Liberty at some ungodly hour of the morning, but all was forgiven when we arrived and had the entire wreck to ourselves! The shop itself is small, but it has everything you need: a couch, AC, TV, and a Rubik's Cube. Their equipment is all brand new and in excellent condition. And, as promised, my groups were never more than four. In the end, I came to think that Serge and Kira's friendliness was infectious, because most days all the divers would hang out at the shop together, enjoying sunset beers and talking about all the amazing things we'd seen. I ended up staying two extra days with these guys because I loved diving with their shop so much. I feel so fortunate to have found them, because they helped make those dives some of my best and happiest. And because I know you read these: thanks again guys for such an incredible time! I can't wait to make my way back to Amed to dive with you again!

Review Body: This was my first time in Amed and it blew me away - totally because of Serge, Kira and the team at Amed Jepun Divers. i've dived all over south east asia and have never had such a fantastic experience before. these guys LOVE diving, its not a job for them its a passion which is exactly what you want when you are diving in a new place. they were so freaking excited to show me everything - even though they probably see the same stuff every day they were as pumped as what i was! they made it their mission to find me a pygmy seahorse which was an incredible experience. these guys seriously froth as much as i do so i felt totally at home and comfortable. even after diving was finished for the day i hung about the dive shop just chatting to all the team - at no point did i ever feel like i was a customer. we were put in groups with people of similar experience and no groups were larger than 4. i love macro and dive photography which can be annoying for some dive shops but these guys find things for you and really encourage you to take your time to get the perfect shot. fantastic dive sites for both macro and also the larger animals - we saw eagle rays at house reef which is directly across from the dive shop!! seriously cannot rate these guys any higher, i am already planning a trip back as soon as possible and the only difference this time will be that i will stay alot longer. its a thing xx

Review Body: I recommend this dive centre to anyone wanting to dive amed. Right from my first contact with the centre to book in, until my leaving Amed, it was all a great experience. I was able to speak with the centre via WhatsApp which is really easy and helpful when I have no phone to call. I was explained eveything from the beginning; prices, logistics, staff and dive sites. When I arrived I was greeted by the friendly staff and organized my equipment and paperwork which only took a few minutes. All equipment was in great condition. I booked one day for two dives with a private guide and ended up staying another day to dive again as I was so happy with the service. Pickup from my hotel was on time and easy. Being one of the first groups at the wreck meant no crowds so it was very peaceful diving. Other dive centres drive from far away or have later booked dives, so we avoided those large groups. We had lunch at tulumben between the dives and I was well catered for with my allergies. The second dive site was just me and my instructor Bol. For all the dives he was great, making sure to know what I wanted to see and finding it all to point out. The second day I was able to say what time suited me for the dives and Bol made sure to take me to the best sites to see what I wanted to capture on camera. I would definitely dive with them again as everything was perfect.

Review Body: This was a fantastic choice in Amed, where many dive shops thrive! Just up the street from our hotel, with a really friendly and knowledgeable crew, dog and cat hanging around too! Got the 'try dive' paperwork and gear fitting done the evening before, making for a smooth start and quick instructional in water! 10/10. We came by on our first night, and got the advise to wait a day after the rains and waves (we hope) had subsided, which led to a beautiful, calm morning to visit the shipwreck and pyramids! Early dive made for an uncrowded site, with really easy and interesting shore dives at each site, and tons of diversity on the reefs. Went with the goal of seeing a giant Grouper & a Sea Turtle, and they came through strongly, with sweet photos! My partner had her open water cert. so had different guides and routes, and we still managed to converge and get a bunch of great photos together underwater via Gopro, which is just a small example but meant a lot towards our excellent time with these guys. All this, in hope to explain that this crew makes a dive day really easy and affordable, with people trying to make your dive as smooth and satisfying as can be!

Review Body: I had such a great time diving with the team at Jepun Divers. They are all very friendly, and work hard to make you comfortable from the moment you arrive, offering you a drink, and sitting down to talk to you about what you want to do. I came for a few days to do my Open Water certification, and left 10 days later with Advanced, Deep and Nitrox certifications. I had Simone (and Kirstin) instructing me throughout, and he made everything very clear and easy to understand in pre-dive briefings and post-dive debriefs. I also did fun dives with Kira, Luana and Made, all of whom were great guides with a lot of knowledge to share. They are very happy to show you the great sites in Amed, and that diving here is much more than just the liberty wreck (but they can show you the electric clam here if you ask nicely!) After diving the shop is a great place to hang out for a drink with the team and other divers. They really live up to their slogan, and you will leave as a friend - or feeling like family.

My girlfriend and I had the most incredible experience with Amed Jepun Divers - the diving was breathtaking and Roxy, Kira and Serge couldn't have been more welcoming. I can't rate Roxy high enough as our instructor - we were so lucky to have such an easy going, professional and enthusiastic instructor. After completing our open water course, we couldn't resist going back for our advanced adventurer certificate and with Roxy's supportive guidance we managed to achieve the unthinkable (neither of us thought we'd swim down to 30m, let alone take a night dive!). If you're thinking of completing a dive course our just popping into Amed for a fun dive, look no further... I promise you won't regret diving with the Jepun Divers team! Roxy, Kira and Serge - we'll be seeing you again soon!

Review Body: Had the best time undertaking my certification under the supervision of Serge. Felt safe at all times and really learnt a lot in a short space of time! The dive sites were amazing in particular the USAT liberty wreck and the Pyramids where we saw sea turtles, lion fish, sea stars, angel fish, clown fish and countless more. Aside from the learning and diving itself, the dive shop is a friendly and relaxed place to hang out after your day of activities! Lastly Serge and Kira were massively accommodating of our groups differing wishes. They offered to organize snorkeling at the dive sites for one of our friends who did not want to dive and fun dives for another friend who didn’t want to do the certification. All in all I would definitely recommend Amed Jepun Divers to anyone coming to Amed for diving!

Review Body: I spent 2 days diving with Jepun Divers, and it was incredible! First of all, all 4 dives were outstanding, although the Pyramids and USAT wreck were simply extraordinary. But on top of that, the diving center is extremely professional: good equipment (incl. mask), extremely good briefings, nice staff since the very first contact... and i even enjoyed meals and coffees with no additional charge. Worth mentioning i dived all the time alone with my dive master (Jepun only does small groups). The dive master was extremely good, knowledgeable in the diving sites and present sealife, always helpful and supportive... always with a smile and great positive vibes! ... so if you're looking for a diving center in Amed, call Jepun! I will definitely repeat if i ever return to Bali.

Review Body: My girlfriend and i dove with Amed Jepun Divers on the 18th of July. They took us on two awesome dives, first dive on the USAT Liberty Wreck, and the second was at Coral Gardens. They took us earlier than the other shops to make sure the wreck was less crowded, and is was definitely worth getting up for.I've dove both of these sites several times before, and I loved it even more this time. Our guide, a french Canadian named Serge was unbelievable. He showed us blacktip reef sharks, turtles, garden eels, ribbon eels, leaf scorpionfish, bumphead parrotfish and countless more awesome fish. Huge shout out to Kira, Luana, and Roxy who also made our trip unforgettable. If you're going to dive in Amed, please pay a visit here, they will make sure you have a great trip!

Review Body: Amed Jepun is really a gem among dive shops in Amed. There are more and more dive shops opening up but Amed Jepun stands out from the rest with extremely professional dive masters and one of the friendliest crews I've ever dived with. From the beginning of my stay at Amed, Serj and the rest of the Jepun team were supportive. From helping find a place to stay the night because my airbnb fell through, to 9 fun dives every experience with them was incredible including the Liberty Wreck in Tulamben. They would ask me what dive sites I wanted to explore and were flexible. In addition to great service I also had fun going out to see great live music in Amed and great food recommendations. One of the best diving experiences I've ever had.

Review Body: With so many dive shops to choose from in Amed, I was fortunate enough to have this one recommended to me. I completed my advanced SSI course here. The dive sites were stunning, but the people at Amed Jepun made the experience great. Both the staff and owners were knowledgable, helpful and beyond hospitable during my five dives. They kept all the group sizes small which is a huge advantage when you're learning to dive. Three of my dives were one on one with my instructor. She was very observant and knew the waters well, drawing my attention to many different sea creatures, 90% of which I would have missed if not for her. If you're visiting Amed and overwhelmed with the selection of dive centres, I would highly recommend this shop.

Review Body: I arrived in Bali at Amed Jepun Divers on a friends recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The shop is brand new, as is all the equipment, and the experience is out of this world. Serge and Kira are the friendliest people I know and they take very good care of you, always making sure that you receive the best experience. You can go and dive there or just pop in for a beer, coffee and a good chat. All the dives are shore based, but with their nice truck, access is made easy for all sites. The couple know where to find the most interesting marine life in the area, and they know all the secret, hidden spots.I would highly recommend Amed Jepun Divers for an unforgettable experience while you are visiting Bali. Jepun divers were the best diving shop I have been to, the staff are super friendly and gave us lots of information about the different dive sites they go to and what they usually see there, and also a list of great food recommendations in Amed! My friend and I really wanted to see sharks and so they took us to a site where they have seen sharks in the past and we saw 3! We also did the usat liberty wreck dive which was great going early before it got too busy there. Thanks guys for an awesome experience, and for going the extra mile (even booking my boat on to the gili islands, and sending us some amazing pics they took on one of the dives)

Review Body: Was recommended Amed Jepun divers by a friend and couldn't be more thankful for the recommendation! The whole team were super welcoming and accommodating. I did 3 dives in total with this company and I am very satisfied with all of them. Everything was organised perfectly which meant nothing felt rushed and there was time to adjust equipment, ask questions etc. All 3 dives were completely different which was good! We saw a white tip reef shark, a sea moth, leaf scorpion fishes, pygmy seahorses and a blue ringed octopus!! At the end of each dive the staff were more then happy to spend time going through what we saw and answering any questions we had about the dives/dive sites.

Review Body: This place is awesome! Super professional Divemaster, safety is always first but still he’s such a cool dude and you can laugh and make jokes with him. I had a dive to the USAt liberty wreck and it was astonishing, not just because of the wreck, but also because of the dive center and the divemaster. It was an early morning dive so there were not many people which is very uncommon for such a popular dive site. And my divemaster showed/explained me different parts of the shipwreck under water (canons, anchor, etc) because sometimes it’s not that easy to identify the parts. All in all just a perfect experience and I would strongly recommend it to anybody who’s into diving.

Review Body: We had the most exciting, fun and beautiful days diving with Amed Jepun Divers. We were a group of 4 visiting from Denmark. The staff is absolutely amazing and the dive sites are sooo beautiful! Amed Jepun Divers is the place to go if you love diving or would like to try it. Two of us took our Open Water (the other two already have their Open Water) and our instructor, Luana, was the best!! Professional, fun and friendly! Kira and Serge, who owns the shops are the sweetest and nicest people and you really do leave as a friend! I have definitely found a new favourite spot in Amed, Bali! Thank you!! Review Body: My partner and I did our Open Water Dive course with Amed Jepun Divers. We liked it so much that we stayed to do the Advanced Adventurer course too. Our instructor, Simone, was really great, teaching us a lot, making sure we were comfortable with everything going on, and helping us to learn, have fun, and be safe the entire time. Everyone at the shop is nice and knowledgeable about diving, all of the different dive sites, and all the animals and plants in the sea! We could also refill our water bottles here (not all dive shops would let us). I'd be very happy to come back and dive more with them.
