This unique workshop is created by a professional arborist who designs and builds actual zen gardens for clients. Set in our tranquil nature sanctuary, renowned for beekeeping and lush greenery, you'll be immersed in calm as you build a miniature zen garden to take home.We are the one and only Zen Garden building workshop in Singapore! During this 1.5-hour meditative session, you'll discover the timeless design principles that make zen gardens so captivating: Austerity, Asymmetry, and the profound symbolism behind every element. Learn why rocks represent mountains, bridges symbolise portals to another realm, and sand becomes an ever-changing canvas for contemplation. All this unfolds in The Sundowner's serene garden setting, where nature itself becomes your teacher.We provide everything you need, including a live mini bonsai that serves as the living centrepiece of your creation. The best part? Your garden grows with you. Take it home, tend to it, and discover the joy of raking sand into new patterns whenever you need a moment of zen. Toast your creation with a traditional cup of sake or green tea as you admire your handiwork!*Minimum 4 pax to start a session.
