Curious about scuba diving but not ready to commit to a full course? This Try Scuba Dive in Gili Trawangan is the perfect way to dip your toes into the underwater world without needing certification! It's calm waters and amazing turtle life are a great setting for a beginner to get hooked on diving. With this course, you will also start with a pool session to get comfortable, then head out for two guided ocean dives at stunning beginner-friendly dive sites.What makes this special? Unlike some quick intro dives, this experience includes not just one but two open water dives, giving you more time to explore Gili's incredible marine life. Plus, with small group sizes (max four divers per instructor), you'll get plenty of personal attention to feel safe and supported. It's ideal for first-time divers who want a relaxed, well-guided introduction to the ocean. This dive centre was founded in 2010 by Jenny and Neill after years of experience in Thailand, turning a small beachside shack into one of the island’s most established dive shops. With a diverse team of instructors from around the world, they offer everything from fun dives to professional-level training across multiple certification agencies. Their operation is fully equipped with boats, accommodation, and training pools, making diving easy and accessible. They’re also deeply involved in the local community, supporting eco initiatives and training local divemasters. Now managed by Jill and Nicolas, the dive centre maintains a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere while ensuring high-quality diving experiences for all levels. It’s a place where divers feel at home, both in and out of the water.
