Explore self-expression with an art therapist & discover art's power to do good
What if an hour of making art could help you understand yourself a little better, while giving you a glimpse into how art can create meaningful change for others? At this art experience, you’ll be guided by a trained art therapist through a personalised creative session designed around your needs: whether you want to slow down, explore self-expression, reflect, or simply give yourself permission to play. No artistic experience is needed; the focus is on the process, not creating a “good” artwork. But this is also your introduction to a bigger mission. As a social enterprise, the organisation uses art therapy and community art to support mental wellbeing, inclusion and communities including children, people with special needs and disabilities, and underserved groups. Take a look around the studio and you’ll find artworks created by their beneficiaries, some of which you can purchase to directly support the artists and the wider mission. If the experience sparks something in you, you can also find out how to volunteer, collaborate or get involved with the organisation beyond your visit.
