Most people going to Bali know about Mt Batur, but fewer know that Mt Agung is the highest peak and Mt Batukaru is a gorgeous off-grid climb. If you have time for a day trip from Bali, we would highly recommend going to Mt Ijen which famous for its glorious blue flames. If you have an extra 3 days, do the volcano combo of Mt Bromo and Mt Ijen which aren't in Bali but a 3D2N return trip away - they're seriously epic and well worth the effort.
