Review Body: We were a party of 6, two parents taking our 2 children and their 2 friends on a post high school, pre uni trip. We travelled as 2 couples and 2 singles. Our criteria for choosing a villa therefore was 3 bedrooms and a central location so that everyone could go off and do their own thing when they wanted without walking too far. Our 3 bedroom villa turned out to be our own private compound with 3 single bedroom villas surrounding a gorgeous pool to which we walked down. We over looked the rain forest. Wasek looked after all of us beautifully. Not once did we walk out of our compound and not see him watching out for us. Our breakfasts were huge and cooked at whatever time we wanted. My husband likes an early morning coffee and this was freshly made for him before the rest of us were up. Wasek also organised anything we needed – cars, mopeds and also a late check out as we were catching a very late flight. The linen was all good quality with nice fluffy towels and quality toiletries. Bottles of fresh water in the villas were replenished daily, with filtered water available in the kitchen adjacent to the dining room. A two minute walk to the main road with many restaurants and shops close without even having to go further into the centre of town if that was the decision. Our kids loved the fried treats at the end of the street. Yes we heard some roosters crowing, but to me that was just the sound of Ubud. Ear plugs were provided, but I didn’t need them. Would certainly recommend to others.

Review Body: These villas are amazing. clean modern and well maintained. The pool areas are nice and freshly cooked breakfast fantastic start to the day. The location is amazing. In less than five minutes you are on the main Ubud road. After 3 nights we moved to another of their villas a few minutes up the road. WOW. this villa is everything you would need for a perfect holiday. The views from every balcony is amazing and from the sun terrace magical sunrises over the volcano. and sunsets across the rice terraces. Two bedrooms with huge beds. and good air con. lovely pool and garden. And an amazing upstairs sun terrace and pagoda perfect for breakfast. The staff came everyday to cook breakfast and clean. The location makes this villa. It's a 15 minute walk to the main street in Ubud. There is the best Warung opposite with some of best food we ate and a very good local store for food and drinks. if you don't want to walk anywhere then a quick call and the staff will come and pick you up. The best part of this holiday has to be the staff. nothing is too much trouble and always with a smile and warm greeting. The villas team are some of the best we have ever come across and can't wait to return Thank you for everything

Review Body: We were in the two bedroom villa and it was fabulous. The staff were all lovely and could not do enough for you. We had breakfast every morning in the villa which was brought to us and of a very high quality. Whilst there was a kitchen there were no utensils but who wants to cook on holiday. You could have evening meals cooked for you but we did not manage to fit that in as Baruna Sari was so close to the town centre we went out and about all the time. Ketut the manager was fantastic. He collected us from the airport after waiting for nearly two hours for us. We booked him for a number of trips and he could not have been more helpful. He gave us a lot of insight into life in Bali and we enjoyed his company. We have noticed a few negative reviews but we could not fault it and would return to this villa. It was like a tranquil oasis in a busy town. The walk into Ubud only took a few minutes.

Review Body: 15 of us enjoyed our reunion activities at Baruna Sari Villa with the wonderful service mind of Ketut and his staff. We stayed at 4 types of villa for 3 nights. All of four villas were decorated in modern Balinese style. Each of them was so special and unique. It was lovely, cozy and greenish. For sure we will definitely book this villa again for our next trip in Bali. Thanks to Ketut and all staff for your hospitality and friendliness. All of our requests have been responsive immediately. This villa is highly recommended because of not only the service mind of staff but also its convenience to commute the tourist spots such as Ubud market center, Ubud palace, Rice terrace and monkey forest.

Review Body: We had the private pool villa for 3 nights and it was the best 3 nights we’ve had. The staff are amazing and so friendly and the villa itself- including incredible pool- is absolutely stunning, all you can ask for at such a good price. We were initially a little confused about the kitchen, but it’s really no bother! It’s as private as you can get, and the villa is regularly serviced (room turned in and out daily! They’re like secret ninjas that come in and open/shut curtains, light mozzie repellent etc) We’ll definitely be recommending this villa to everyone we know, and are so grateful to ketut and team for their great hospitality! Oh- and location is awesome!!!

Review Body: While travelling through Ubud I dropped my washing off at the Baruna Sari laundry, made the rookie error of leaving a big roll of rupiah in a button-up shirt pocket. I know, right? Stupidity tax right there. It was a LOT of money, probably about two months' wages for some workers in Bali, and my spending money for a week on the island. Once I realised what I'd done - after first kicking myself and then panicking- I contacted the office at Baruna Sari Villa, who recovered every last rupiah of the cash. Ketut and the staff did this for me with exemplary courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend this establishment, their staff are first-rate.

Review Body: The friendly team made everything easy for us. A hassle free pick up from the airport (and back to the airport again), booking any tours we asked for, an amazing yoga instructor who personalised our yoga sessions for us, a delicious and plentiful breakfast brought to our villa every morning that we wanted it (and offering to bring it late on the days we were out early). Our villa was spotless and cleaned every day with the fridge restocked. We had a private pool which was topped up for us and nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again when visiting Ubud.

Review Body: My husband and I stayed at Baruna Sari Villa in August. I had previously booked elsewhere but wasn’t keen on the choice and stumbled across this place. I am so happy I made the change. It is a great location only minutes walk to Main Street (just far enough away to be very quiet). Staff were excellent, could not do enough for us. Property was clean and very well presented and breakfast was offered for free and delivered to our villa (this had not come up in the booking, so was a wonderful surprise). I would stay here again and again; highly recommend it.

Review Body: We traveled to Bali with part of our trip unplanned. We booked Baruna Sari Villa the morning we checked in. Because it was a last minute reservation, we received a GREAT nightly rate. The staff was so nice and even helped us with "transport" aka a motorbike when needed (didn't charge us.) Could walk to so many great places.Super happy with the stay! About the villa: Very cool high wood ceiling and comfy bed, nice bathroom with both a shower and a tub, private pool.

Review Body: Good quality. We rented a villa with private pool, very clean, pool with cristal clear water. Useful and friendly staff. The situation is perfect, 10 min walk to the Ubud Palace and to many Ubud good restaurants. We selected also breakfast included. Each day the staff asked us the kind of breakfast and choices (you can chose from : american, continental, indonesian, etc....). And the breakfast is served on the villa at tge time you want.

Review Body: We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay here. The room is very large with a comfortable bed and your own private pool in a tropical garden setting. The staff are very friendly and happy to arrange transport and tours. Other visitors complained about the roosters waking them up. They didn't bother us so much. Besides, there are roosters everywhere in Bali!

Review Body: The most incredible private getaway . The villa was magic and the staff where incredible . We had private yoga organised for us every morning and also did a tour with ketut. The rest of our time here, we just enjoyed the space and the great location . We didn't want to leave !

Review Body: Me and my family stayed here for 3 nights. It was the best - The villa is beautiful and clean and the staff is very nice!! It’s close to Ubud but you can’t hear the traffic, only the sound of birds and water from the pool. I will come back some day!

Review Body: Baruna Sari Villa was the absolute highlight of our holiday! A stunning villa with two equally beautiful rooms, an amazingly nice infinity pool with a waterfall that leads to another smaller pool! The lovely staff that is permanently around, always smiling and ready to help you with whatever questions you have. Breakfast is served in the villa, clean towels every day and also daily cleaning of the entire villa as well as the pool. The villa is situated near the center of Ubud (200-300 meter), with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. For everything that is a little further away, like the sacred Monkey Forest and the Tegelalang rice terrace, the villa offers scooters for rent (60.000 IDR a day). A capable driver (car included) can also be arranged should you wish to, for example, visit the lovely waterfalls of Sekumpul. Be sure to ask the staff for their driver Made Sulawa! I read that some people mentioned certain animals causing some inconvenience, during our stay however none of us (4 people) had any trouble with the roosters and dogs surrounding the villa. You can hear them if you listen closely, but it is in no way a nuisance. The villa also provides free ear plugs, but I honestly don't think you will need them. The one and only downside were the showers in both rooms of the villa. The water jets coming out of the showerheads were faint at best, especially when the showers in both rooms where used simultaneously. A luxurious villa like Baruna Sari should at least have a couple of decent functioning showers. Al together we highly recommend this villa and would definitely stay here again when in Ubud!

Review Body: This was just a quick 5 days away to relax. The villa was nice but for me was in need of a little upgrade things were a little tired looking. The location was excellent but it did lack privacy as it suggested. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was nice . Overall a nice break in Ubud.
