Your chef, Al, will have tales about everything from his family recipes to the neighborhood's history. Med@59JCT is a venture born from Natalie's and Al's passion for food & wine and for Joo Chiat. They are both long-term residents of Joo Chiat and have contributed to and witnessed first-hand the evolution of what is today one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Singapore. Their first experience was launched in 2021 with Med@59JCT, a private dining concept centered around Al's Mediterranean culinary heritage and the beautifully renovated Peranakan shophouse they inhabit.

Hi Joanne, We are happy to inform you that it is possible to accommodate 8 adults and a 3-year-old at our venue. However, we recommend that you send an email to our customer service team at chat@seeksophie.com to check the availability of our hosts on the date you are interested in. Our team will be happy to assist you with any queries you may have and help you plan your event. Please note that the 3-year-old child is free of charge. However, we would like to remind you that the entire event lasts 3.5 hours, which may be quite long for a 3-year-old. Also, please note that the child will have to eat the same food as the rest of the table. Hope it helps :)

Hi. Could I bring 5 adults and my 5 year old along? I will pay for the 5 adults. My 5 year old will not be eating. Is that ok?

Can I bring my own wine? If I book for 6 pax but need to increase to 8 pax later, is that an issue?

Hi Serena, We have wine pairing session as an adds on so we'd suggest you to give it a try :) We also suggest that you first make a reservation for six people. Afterward, please inform our team at least five days before your trip date if you have additional guests. Hope it helps.

Is it possible to start the dining experience a little later - say around 7.30 pm?

Hi Celine, We can start at 7.30 pm start we do not offer the house tour or rooftop cocktails and start immediately in our dinning space with cocktails since we have to stop at 10pm as we are a residential area. Hope it helps.
