Med@59JCT is a Private Dining experience blending great Mediterranean food, a stunning Peranakan Shophouse and fun-loving quirky hosts with many stories, for an evening to remember.Med@59JCT offers unfussy and authentic Mediterranean food, serving up sharing dishes for the table, many of which are family favourites from the chef's own culinary heritage. The 7-course menu takes guests around the Med and is a real travel experience through food, from Morocco to Turkey, Spain to Lebanon and everywhere in between! The experience includes a house tour with Natalie (your hostess) taking guests through key areas and interesting period features, from the five-foot way and bespoke traditional lanterns to the back alley, from the first floor to the rooftop terrace. 59JCT houses a collection of mostly Asian art and craft and a major mixed media piece by Singaporean artist Ivan David Ng.Weather permitting, the evening continues with aperitif drinks and snacks on a magical Moroccan-themed rooftop terrace for guests to enjoy the sunset and relax before dinner. The dining area overlooks a small walled garden and is open to the kitchen area, allowing guests to engage with Al (your academic turned lawyer turned banker and now chef) for an evening full of stories about his heritage, the food, Joo Chiat and more!*Wine pairing is available and enhances the experience with lovingly curated Mediterranean wines.
