Just a few nautical miles away from Bali, lies a whole different world! The Islands of Penida and Lembongan offer a rich environment full of new experiences. Here you can swim with the Majestic Manta rays at the famous Manta Bay, discover the natural beauty of Crystal Bay and go to Mangrove Point for vibrant corals or discover Devil's Tears and Dream Beach on Nusa Lembongan. Or if you want to add a completely different kick to your island adventure - you can kayak in the mangroves. Fast Boat to Nusa Lembongan You will need to come to Sanur Matahari Harbour at 7.45am and check in (Check-in location will be informed 1 day before the trip). Here you will be provided with a printed ticket and a lanyard which will allow you to board the speedboat. You will wait at their office until your fast boat is ready for departure and a representative will walk you over to the departure zone. It will take 30 minutes to reach Nusa Penida. The boats are comfortable and new, making for an easy journey across.Snorkelling You will start your adventure with snorkelling. A total of 3 locations will be covered. The exact spots will depend on the weather conditions. Possible options are: Crystal Bay - the water here is super clear and fairly shallow making it a great spot for beginners. Here you will have a good chance to spot turtles and even an occasional Mola Mola a.k.a. Sun Fish.Toyapakeh Wall - here you can see a gorgeous wall of lively corals, as well as plenty of schools of fish, blue-toothed triggerfish, sweet-lip emperor fish, trumpetfish, and pufferfishManta Point - true to its name, this is the best place to spot Manta Rays. These large majestic creatures love to dance in the current. It's a truly epic sight if you get to see even one! The best season to see Mantas in this region is August - October, but it's possible outside of it as well. Because Mantas love the current, the water speed here is quite rapid. If you are not a very confident swimmer you may want to wear a life jacket.Gamat Beach - this clear water spot is known for vibrant coral reefs and colourful schools of fish. Turtles are also known to hang out here. Because it's difficult to reach this spot by land, the ocean life here is quite well preserved.Mangrove Point - lively corals and many schools of colourful fish.Nusa Lembongan Overland Once you finish up your snorkelling you will come on land to Nusa Lembongan. First, you will settle on a Mangrove beachfront to have a relaxing lunch. You will also be able to change and shower here. Once you finish up you can choose to either go kayaking in a mangrove forest or visit a few instagrammable spots around Nusa Lembongan. (Decision will be made on the day of the trip by asking participants' preference )Panorama Point - a scenic spot on top of a hill, overlooking the coastline with Mt Agung in the background.Devil's Tears - here you will see a rocky cove with furious waves crashing into it. It's somewhat a cross between Nusa Penida's Broken Beach and Angel Billabong.Dream Bach - a beautiful strip of white sand beach with turquoise waters. The views from the cliffs overlooking the beach are perfect for photo taking.Mangrove Kayaking - a thick ecosystem of mangroves thrives on the coast of Nusa Lembongan. This green labyrinth makes for an exciting setting to kayak through. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in a different type of island life. Return to Bali Once you've finished up with all the spots (hopefully you make it to all of them!) you will head back to the harbour in Nusa Lembongan to make the last fast boat back to Bali. The last boat leaves around 4.15pm, so you will need to be there about 30 minutes before. You should be back to the Sanur Port by 4.45pm.
