Excellent experience and very glad choosing this option with young funny guide. We got up to the top 30mins before sunrise and the light was amazing for The panoramic views.
It’s a short but moderately challenging ascent.
Nice to get perspective from the boat also.

An all round well planned and executed trip. This trek was recommended to us by friends as a great alternative to hiking up the busier and longer climb of Mount Batur. The communication once booked is via WhatsApp and is excellent. We were picked up by a private car from our hotel in Ubud at 3am and taken to the boat launch on Lake Batur. The drive was around 1.5 hours, the driver was Yosi and the ride was smooth. We met our guide, Wi, at the boat and he took us to the base of the climb. We were given headlamps and a bamboo walking stick to help with the climb. Hiking in the dark was an experience, I'd say the climb was medium difficulty, it was my wife and I and our 2 11 year old children. We paused once or twice on the way up for a water break and to take off a layer. We started the climb all in long sleeves and light rain jackets but by half way up we were all just in our short sleeve t shirts. The climb took between 45 mins and 1 hour, we all had trainers on (not hiking boots) and they were fine but make sure yours have good grips as there are some bits where you can slip. The views from the top are spectacular and well worth the climb. We were given a simple breakfast to refuel as we watched the sun rise and the clouds move below the peaks. Our guide Wi was great, he chatted with us and our children and took some great photos for us. We finished off with a small bout tour on the lake. I would really recommend this tour

Easy to book, good communication, driver and guide really helpful. Everything was perfect. Not another tourist or visitor in site so very private. We had a storm just before started and speaking with guide he was only concerned for safety but it was fine and weather cleared for great views. Definitely do hot springs after it too, nice finish after exercise. All round recommend this trip

This was a magical experience and i got to know so much more about fireflies! I hadnt seen them for years and Seeing them here brought me back to my childhood❤️ Its so inspiring to hear how passionate the people here are about the project, the heart and soul thats poured into it is felt. If you want a unique experience and support the project of bringing back the fireflies I can not recommend visiting this place enough! I also loved the cooking together!

Amazing trip and very well organized. Our guide Nyoman is very knowledgeable and proud of his hometown. The seaweed farm was great. We took up the options of motorcycle to Tembeling beach, as scary as it was, it was worth it! Also upgraded our snorkel tour to Manta Point and another bay (name escapes me) and we saw Mantas within minutes. Was rough swell that day so recommend travel sickness tablets if you think you may need them. And it is very busy with other boats so be prepared. The coastline and beaches were stunning!

What a fabulous experience! The booking process was easy and the information provided was clear and accurate. Justin our driver was on time and a very safe driver. He gave us lots of information about the trip and Bali. Our guide, Wi, was very patient and helpful whilst walking up the caldera and also gave lots of information about the local area. He was great fun and took some amazing photos for us. The hike to the top was a bit challenging at times but well worth it! Amazing views. I would highly recommend this trip and the company .
