We had a fabulous time with Sunlight Cruises. The thing that made ours special was the "boutique" nature of the boat - only 5 cabins so it was a small and intimate experience. Our guide Tam was a lovely guy - I really enjoyed getting to know him :)

We had a wonderful time with UniCharm. Our host Hieu was so fun and a fantastic coordinator. Our biggest regret was not booking a longer cruise. The boat was so nice and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed all of the excursions as well! Thank you Hieu!

We booked the Unicharm cruise. Tiger our tour guide was fantastic, the best tour guide we have ever had. The ship was a nice size, not too big catering for about 40 tourists. The ship sailed to areas in Halong Bay where there were few other tourists which made it very special. The ship was very clean with an excellent crew and really good food. This was a trip we'll worth doing.

Fun experience! Nice place to slow down outside of the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The tent was comfortable. Toilet was clean and comfortable too. We did not use the shower but it looked clean as well. I think they have hot water too. Remember to bring insect repellent and cover as much skin as possible! My family and I got some nasty bites that itched so much and took about a week to heal. We stayed one night and chilled near the lake for most of it. It rained just as we started our bbq and that created some memorable chaos but once the shelter was up, the bbq resumed. Food overall was simple and yummy. We were able to book a grab from Hanoi to bring us to the location and pre-arranged for a car to pick us up from the glamping site.
