Our guide, Wi, and Bagus, both were very friendly and spoke English well. We especially enjoyed hiking with Wi and listening to all his stories. He was knowagable and watchful over us. He and Denis took really nice photos of us at the summit too! The team, including Justin (who made all the necessary arrangements), took good care of us. Information was provided in a timely manner and very detailed. We would be happy to book with them again!

We loved this hike! So glad we found this tour. It is off the beaten path and you dont get the same crowds as mount batur. We had just one other group of two with us. The hike is not as long as mount batur but that does not mean itis any less challenging! The breakfast at the top was a great reward for the journey. We got to see the most beautiful sunrise and Wi, our guide, was a great photographer. Yosi our driver was also great conversing with us the whole drive about many different balinese traditions. 10/10 eould recommend!

The trip was amazing!! The local guide was great! He showed us the local way of life and told many interesting stories. Wi was enthusiastic and just a really fun guy to hang out with. I love how the local community is involved with this experience. We got breakfast from a sweet lady in the village nearby and the view was stunning. I’m so happy that I chose to book this tour instead of the regular mount batur. On the way we saw many many jeeps and people heading that way while our experience felt so much more exclusive and close to the ‘real Bali’. Would definitely recommend everyone to do this.

Went for Bromo, Ijen, Tumpak Sewu.
Our driver and guides were so professional and helpful, especially Arif (driver) and Shofi (Ijen guide).
Very highly recommend it.

I was so glad we did this tour instead of the main trek of Mount Batur. The views were amazing from this viewpoint and you can see many different peaks. It was so quiet and Justin limits the number of people who ascend each day so it's guaranteed to be uncrowded and peaceful.
We went in August and it was really cold before the sun rose - you warm up quick on the hike but remember to wear layers that you can take off and put back on. I would recommend leggings instead of shorts for girls and definitely bring a jumper.
We are relatively young and fit, the hike only took us 45mins. It's short, but quite steep and the soil is loose. Wear actual hiking shoes. You get given a bamboo stick which really helps with balance on the way up and down and you will have a private guide per group who will help you if you're not a confident hiker. Breakfast at the summit was simple but did the job!
We were also worried about the early wake up but each group that books gets their own private driver. We were thankful that we didn't have to share a car with anyone in the early morning.
The experience felt really authentic and I feel like we got to see authentic Bali away from the tourist crowds.
Nawa is a great guide! He's fun and takes great photos and videos and should really be a movie director. Justin was very friendly and knowledgeable about Bali and Kintamani and taught us a lot!
5/5 experience. Must do!

We loved our trip with Bali Yok. The sunset mt Batur view hike was lovely. Off the beaten track and with a great view of Mt Batur and the other mountains in the region.
Our guides were stellar photographers! They knew exactly what to do to get the perfect settings on our phones, and set up some amazing poses with the sunrise.
Additionally, they were also incredibly accomodating when we got down from the first hike and said we wanted to keep going. Our wonderful guide Nawa was happy to take us up Mt Batur. This turned out to be an incredible and personalised experience. We hope to come back to the region again to have Nawa as a guide!

I have taken the main trek up Mt Batur in the past and this was a far more enjoyable experience. The hike was shorter which suited the abilities of younger group members and the whole trip was far more personal. Justin and Yosi picked everyone up on time from different locations and Wi and Kadek were lovely informative guides. We had a view of multiple peaks and shared the sunrise with only two other couples. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a more personal Batur experience or who would prefer a shorter walk.

We had a great time with the service. From the pick up till the drop off. We started off early and our guide, Wi, was really friendly and accommodating. He informed us when it’ll be slippery and when to be cautious from loose soil. Once at the top, there was another guide who took awesome photos as well as videos of us. We opted for the cemetery tour as well and the undertaker was informative. Overall the tour itself was splendid and would highly recommend anyone to try it out
