I really enjoyed the trip. The guides were nice and it was possible to rent shoes for the hike for 50 bath, what I can deeply recommend

Absolutely loved this stay and this tour. So fun staying on the rafthouse on the lake, taking a boat tour with a cave visit and getting some good chill time with the kayaks and provided meals. Thank you to the super helpful and friendly staff, they made everything so much easier. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend this trip enough - it’s an unforgettable experience. The team were so helpful and communicative and even organised transfers and luggage storage for us, which made everything so easy. Our guide was really knowledgable about the lake and wildlife and went the extra mile to make the trip special. Being in a private group is well worth it as you get a much more personal experience and get more insights from your guide. The lake itself is beautiful and so peaceful and the accommodation is very comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. The food was also great and plenty of it. We saw monkeys, lizards and hornbills but even without the wildlife, seeing the beauty of the lake at sunset and sunrise is a really special experience in itself. I will be recommending this trip to all my friends!

We stayed for one night at this fantastic place. Exactly as described, very cosy and clean.
We didn't have the chance to take the famous cooking class but it's famous for a reason.
All the people were very kind and friendly and made sure our stay - even though short - was the best possible. Absolutely recommended.

Great experience. As for the facilities, half of the houses come with a bathroom, I stayed in one without but the shared toilets and showers were clean, never lacking toilet paper and shower gel. The bed was very comfortable. There was one outlet in the house and more in the dining area. As a solo traveler I had to pay a single suplement and intended or not I felt like I got two peoples worth of food. I asked for it to be vegetarian and it was both nutritionally balanced and tasty.
There were no more than 20 people at once for every trip so it didn’t feel too crowded. The guide provided head torches for us in the Coral Cave. The guides didn’t really say much about what we saw, they pointed out part of the cave that looks like an elephant, then during bamboo rafting and the boat safari slowed down so we could look at animals. Next time I would probably sign up for a guided tour to learn a bit more.

Praiwan Raft House is in a stunning spot on Khao Sok Lake. The setting feels a bit magical, with calm water and cliffs right outside your room. The hosts are genuinely lovely and it was really easy to communicate with them to arrange transport beforehand. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It was an unforgettable stay and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the lake.

We did the 2D1N tour and generally enjoyed it. The accommodation was lovely and the staff incredibly friendly and handsome. The Khao Sok National Park and the nature were stunning.
However, the first day felt very rushed. The hike to the cave was more of a fast walk, as the guide kept running. At the end the organization at the cave was chaotic with several groups and lots of people waiting for a nearly an hour so that we could have taken more time for the hike.
Overall, there wasn’t much free time to explore on our own for example, to take a quiet kayak ride to spot wildlife ... so we didn’t see any wild animals. The next morning we left right after breakfast at 9, meaning we spent less than 24 hours on the lake. In hindsight, we would choose the tour with two nights, as it offers more downtime and better chances to paddle out independently and see wildlife away from the noisy boats.
In general, there was no useful information about the national park or any key details, as the guides didn’t speak English. This means that if you want to learn anything about the national park, you have to look it up yourself.
Be aware that the Khao Sok Nationalpark has become a very touristic thing and isn't a hidden gem at all, meaning there will be lots other people with you as well. Nonetheless we highly recommend it as the nature was stunning and outstanding.
