What a special place! The lake is stunning, the nature and wildlife surrounding Praiwan is incredible, and the turquoise waters are just dreamy. Being able to explore all that by longtail boat and kayak from a floating bungalow is wonderful. A true escape. We stayed 2 nights and I'm glad we did, 1 would not have been long enough. Although the accommodation is fairly basic, the location more than makes up for it. The food at Praiwan was delicious, fresh, and plentiful and the people working there were really friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay!! The cabine (we choose for comfort) are big and clean. The family is very friendly and prepares the most delicious food. We saw wild elephants while kajakking, it was great. A MUST do during your trip in Thailand!

Our guides Alex and Beau were fantastic and made sure we were taken care of during our whole experience at Cheow Lan lake. They were also very helpful with coordinating our transportation to and from the experience. With their guidance we hiked up a jungle waterfall, saw the incredible views around Cheow Lan lake, and caught a glimpse of some elephants in the forest. Alex and Beau made it all possible and we would absolutely recommend this experience to others!
The floating bungalows at Phuphawaree were beautiful and the food was freshly cooked and tasted amazing (and there was more than enough to eat). A heads up to others that the beds in the bungalows were quite firm and not the most comfortable, but we slept through the night nonetheless.

We loved everything about our experience.
The food was good, maybe include some dishes with less fried and a bit of less spicy.
The boat trip was amazing, the tour guide was really helpful, respectful and joyful.
We saw elephants, monkeys, snackes.
On the hiking trail we god some leeches but nothing serious.
The overall experience was at around 8/10, will return for sure.
Incredible experience
We really enjoyed our stay we upgraded our room to Deluxe for the ensuite which was definitely worth it. We really enjoyed kayaking around the area and seeing elephants! The staff and food were great! Such stunning surroundings.
