Just book it. The farm stay was absolutely wonderful. It felt like serenity after a lot of travelling. The food we made was delicious and we got to try and learn about different herbs during Mr. Yoo’s garden tour. The farm stay is more intimate with a group size under 20 people. The family is so welcoming, funny and great conversationalists. I had a bit of a medical issue and Mr. Yoo drove me into town to the pharmacy before we headed out to the floating bungalows, no questions asked. The bed was so comfortable, everything was very clean and the bathrooms were private for each cabin. Cheow Lan Lake is breathtaking and this is an affordable way to see the beauty of the lake. On the lake, we had a group of around 60 people. Our bungalow on the lake had a new mattress, but some people stayed on what was similar to a bamboo mat. There is no AC. There is a fan at the farm stay which is all you need, a little warmer at the bungalow, but manageable. We saw a lot of wildlife on our boat safaris. It was well organized. There are a limited number of kayaks, so make sure to organize your time to use one. Definitely don’t expect 5 star amenities on the lake with the shared bathrooms, but they work for the night. We loved this tour and would book again!

It was a really nice expérience - the guide was very invested. We were a Group of 30-40 persons devided in 2 groups so we didn’t feel like it was very crowded.
Just a tip if you plan to go there : take earplugs ! The noise on the boat was painful as I was sitting in the back in the way to the rafthouses.
There are showers there but also a few bees around so only the brave ones went ! Thank you to the team - oh and the food was lovely.

Seek sophie schedule has the right vibe but don't trust their timings in terms of activities - check / listen to what the staff say!
Go in expecting a glamping type experience and you'll be sound :-)
