It’s a bit of a distance from Chiang Mai old town, but the environment and vibe is worth the trip!! The chief lady learned cooking from France and studied in US, with professional cooking skills and fluent English. A very enjoyable food journey and nice chats as well. Will definitely visit again~

We really loved our day in the jungle with Wet, the guide! He had such a good vibe - he was smiling, laidback and he got a lot of knowledge to share. We felt like this experience was unique and immersive. Kop khun ka 🙏🏼

It was lovely to spend time watching the elephants. A highlight was making food for the elephants.

We were delighted to pick Praiwan. It’s further away from the pier than lots of the other floating lodges but this is its jewel. No passing traffic and elephants came down to the water. The food was lovely and abundant and the staff charming.
The boat ride in was an experience as each and every breathtaking view was exposed. Our room was very comfortable with an en suite which we were glad for. We swam and kayaked in the bay too.
We as a family agreed this was the highlight of our trip.

He was excellent! Highly recommended for your next hike. He’s very knowledgeable about the history of Thailand and the world. He was friendly and made sure we were okay along the way! He shared great stories and was genuinely interested in learning about us and our cultures. Will definitely hike again with him.

Jaja knows his stuff and was a great teacher and guide. We just got stuck in downpour rain, my phone broke and didn't get to see many animals due to the weather. It felt like a long, wet walk with a couple good highlights. I would also prefer to start an hour earlier. I know we need dark but it was well past dark when we went and we were exhausted from an entire day of activity beforehand.

Wow I didn’t expect much from this experience because it’s the first time that i’ll be spending so much time in a rainforest but JAJA’s knowledge and passion is very influential and it will make you WANT to learn to spot wild life. The bamboos cooking in the rain was also an unexpected core memory unlocked so I’m very happy to have went on this experience that really override my expectation in a good way.
Although the hike is flat but it’s quite long so definitely bring water and good hiking gear helps!
