We booked a phinisi live aboard through seek Sophie and everything worked out great. We had heard horror stories of people not getting the boats they booked etc, but ours went off without a hitch. Everything was exactly how it c was described and the communication was great. Best trip ever! Made easier with a good booking agent!

Our Ubud tour experience was amazing! Our tour guides treated my friends and I like family and we were so amazed by their knowledge and kindness. Communication between SeekSophie and I was great other than the fact that our pickup time got pushed an hour later than requested due to misunderstanding. This was frustrating at first but our guides definitely made up for it and made the day incredible.

Traveling with Seek Sophie felt completely different from any other trip I’ve been on. Instead of the usual tourist hotspots, they brought us to local places where we could truly connect with the people and learn about what they do, the kind of experiences that make you feel like you’re really seeing the heart of a place. They gave me such a meaningful experience, and Fern, our host, was such a sweetheart 💗 always taking care of us, translating, and sharing stories about the people and places we visited.

I usually plan my trips with friends and explore the usual tourist spots, but this was my first time joining a community trip organized by Seek Sophie and Maggy and it turned out to be such a special experience! We got to enjoy so many amazing foods and discover hidden gems that I wouldn’t have known or been able to visit on my own. The visit to the elephant sanctuary was truly heartfelt, seeing the elephants roam freely and live happily was such a joy. Yidan’s homestay offered a beautiful farm-to-table experience, where we got to be close to nature and the farm animals. It was such a memorable stay. A big thank-you to Fern for being not just a great guide but also a caring friend throughout the trip. She took such good care of us and even prepared thoughtful little fortune cookie notes for our daily self-affirmations. ❤️

(Translated by Google) I booked a 3-day, 2-night boat trip to the Komodo Islands and had a fantastic time! The Guineans did their best to ensure we had a wonderful time and didn't have to worry about anything. The food on Refviero was excellent, and we even saw manta rays. Fantastic and highly recommended. (Original) Ich hab einen Bootsausflug 3d2n auf den Komodo Inseln gebucht und hatte eine ganz tolle Zeit! Die Guinea haben ihr bestes gegeben dass wir eine tolle Zeit hatten und uns um nichts kümmern mussten. Das Essen auf Refviero war ausgezeichnet und wir haben sogar Mantas gesehen. Toll und sehr zu empfehlen.

It was an amazing experience! Me and my 3 friends were picked up by Indra punctually at 2:15am from Gianyar (Ubud), and taken to base camp. The ascent to Mt. Batur started at around 3:30am. While the first and fourth quarters were similar to other treks, the middle half was more challenging due to the terrain being full of small rocks. However, our guide Yush was helpful and encouraging us at all times, and made it much easier and fun to go all the way to the top. The summit had a breathtaking view of the sunrise, as well as multiple craters that marked points of volcanic eruption over multiple centuries. The descent was somewhat faster, and we were back to the base camp by 8am. From there, Indra took us to Batur Hot Springs, where we were able to get some much needed relaxation after the gruelling hike. Next came Amora, which can only be described as "great food with a great view". We were served an all-you-can-eat buffet with a panoramic view of Mt. Batur and Lake Batur. Finally, our itinerary wrapped up with a visit to the coffee plantation, where we were shown various fruits and beans that are used to make a variety of beverages, such as coffee, cacao, rosella and vanilla among many others.We also had an additional request put in to be picked up from Ubud and be dropped back at Sanur Harbour, since we had kept some luggage there a couple of days back that we needed to collect. For this reason, we also requested transport back to Ubud in the same vehicle, and were very graciously accommodated for an additional price matching the normal market price. This made out return much more convenient and hassle-free, for which we are grateful to the organisers, as well as Indra.
