Review Body: Bali Green Surf Lessons Thank you so much to you and your surf school team for delivering surf lessons to my daughter and I during our time at Seminyak. It was fantastic to witness my daughters progress and hear about how much she enjoyed the lessons tips and knowledge passed on to her from Sunny and the other instructors. The commitment, energy, motivation and encouragement that comes from your surf instructors has been the best that I’ve seen. It was their energy, patience and enthusiasm that made me decide to take a few lessons! They were delivered by Mogli and I am grateful to him for the experience gained and progress made. I spent a great deal of time on the beach capturing video of my daughter where at times I must have obstructed your photographer who captured a multitude of high quality shots of my daughter and I. (Take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints.) It was an honour to have accepted an invitation to a BBQ at your hostel where your instructors and other guests were the most wonderful, hospitable and social hosts. We learnt more from Micky about the commendable work and support that Bali Green Surf does with its community and charity projects which left my wife, daughter and I with a warm feeling of having contributed in a small way. You and your team have given us memories and experiences that will last our lifetime. From the bottom of our hearts. Thank you.

Review Body: Awesome surf camp experience with great instructors! We had an awesome surf camp experience with Bali Green Surf School, surfing twice a day every day for our 4D3N stay. We opted to stay at Destiny Boutique Hotel just across the surf school/camp. It has a nice cosy pool which we can dip and relax in after each surf session! The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful too! Both the surf camp and accommodation are within few minutes walk to the beach in Seminyak area, so it is really convenient without wasting time getting caught in traffic just to surf. The cost for the entire surf camp was really reasonable and our main instructor Isaac and his team took great care of us during the surf camp, and even brought me out to the green wave just for the experience! Widi was really professional and prompt in replying my enquiries for the booking as well! During evening time or whenever we are not surfing, we will visit Seminyak Square or Jalan Raya Seminyak for lots of dinner, shopping or coffee options which are within walking distance from the surf camp. If we were too tired to walk, we will just book a cab using Gojek or Grab. We preferred to stay at Seminyak for our surf camp away for the main Kuta area which we felt may be too crowded. I will encourage anyone who wants to have an enjoyable surf camp to consider Bali Green Surf school as your primary choice!

Review Body: I had the most incredible time in Bali thanks to the Bali Green Surf School. As a solo traveler, the team helped me to feel like part of their family and helped me to feel relaxed in the water, to a point where I was laughing so much I couldn’t keep a straight face for the entire lesson, or even after it! I’ve been twice on separate trips and, whilst the style of teaching is similar, it’s tailored to make it something special and more challenging so you can progress quickly. I never thought I’d try surfing or be able to stand on a board but I did in the first lesson thanks to the Bali Green surf crew. If you’re going to do anything whilst in Bali I cannot recommend Bali Green enough, you’ll be surprised at how quickly you fall in love with surfing thanks to the brilliant instructors and how much they enjoy doing what they do! See you again in June!

Review Body: One more Wave - again and again When I came to Bali the first time I got to know all those amazing guys at Bali Green Surf School during my semester abroad. They have a cooperation with the University Udayana and already during my first lesson they managed to make every single one of us stand up. An amazing feeling compared with a cheering instructor. Since then three years passed and I’ve visited this great surf school already six times and will always come back again... Besides their never ending patience and dedication to teaching, I’m amazed by their passion to give back to their community by organising charity events and teaching orphaned kids in their free time. You’re in Bali - give those guys a go, catch some waves together and get to know and love them!

Review Body: Learning to surf in 7 days... Bali Green Surf was exactly what I've been looking for! We spent our last 7 days on Bali with those amazing guys and had an awesome time - not only in the water, also barbecuing and going out in the evenings. The surfing lessons are really private and all the instructors are amazing. They focus on you and try to push your skills as much as they can. If you plan to spend more than one day surfing your lessons (place/beach, board, theoretical knowledge) will also adapt to your improving surfing skills. As the guys from BaliGreenSurf are all locals and really good surfers, I wouldn't only recommend them to beginners but also to experienced surfers. We will definitely come back again!

Review Body: Simply the Best! Stayed in Seminyak for about 4 weeks with my daughter and went surfing with Bali Green Surf after checking out the various surf schools in the area. No one beats these guys! From our first encounter to them dropping us off in the airport we could not have asked for any better. Super enthusiastic, skilful, charismatic, patient, fun, kind, helpful, inspiring bunch of guys that will teach you the art of surfing. We couldn't talk highly enough about this team - felt like long term friends and family. Please use them as your surf instructors as not only will you get the best but you will also help some of the local orphanages in Bali which they support. Cya next year guys xxx Rosa & Bo

Review Body: Excellent instruction, perfect waves I found Bali Green online when I was in Bali. The reviews were good so I called them about a lesson the next day. They were awesome-- they slotted me in, picked me up from my hotel at exactly the time we agreed on, and I had a great lesson! I was grouped with a few german students who were cool. The beach had a mix of intermediate and advanced waves which was fun. The lesson was about 2 hours with a break in the middle where the instructors got us water and time to rest so we could get out for more. I loved it-- the next time I am in Bali I will go to Bali Green again!

That was definitely thanks to the great professional and encouraging instructors Bali Green Surf School has to offer! Both Sunny and Lukas were AWESOME 😎! Sunny gave as all the tips to stand, ride and catch waves 🌊 and most importantly HAVE FUN AND ENJOY 🏄🏻‍♀️ We felt really safe at all times as the instructors were always taking good care of us and taught us lots of secrets to be safe in the water. I would definitely recommend Bali Green Surf and for sure we will be coming back for more 🤙

Review Body: Despite the fact an elephant may have been more graceful on a surfboard than i was, this was an extremely fun experience. The instructors were really helpful (and patient) and provided us with great tips and advice. Overall a fantastic experience. One point I would make is that our hotel was a 10 minute walk from the surf site yet we got picked up by a car, driven 20 minutes to the Surf School and then had to walk another ten minutes to the site - it would have been more efficient if we had been allowed to just walk down directly to the beach.

Review Body: One more wave Thats a really family place. It was my second experience in surfing. I took three lessons and after two of them I've taken my wave! The school can give all the main points for surfing: professional instructors who were more like a friends, good level of english language, high level of service. After every lesson we sorted out the mistakes that help me to fill more confident on a board. I recommend it as for advanced and beginners. Baligreensurfschool is another reason for why I want to come back and surf!

Review Body: Amazing surfing weekend ! Definitely recommend I went for the weekend in Seminyak end of September and took 2 days morning Beginner Surfing lesson . The crew is so friendly and very skilled , giving really good advices. We were small groups of 3 people per instructor both days. Based in Seminyak but as the waves were not great the second day they took us to Jimbaran. It’s was just perfect! so glade I can stand now hehe . I would definitely recommend people to come for a day or more as they offer surf camp package !

Review Body: Limitless surfing We did the surfcamp in the beginning of june. Its a cool surf school with young local people. They did a good job and it was a lot of fun to learn surfing with them. Normally we went out two times a day for surfing, but you can take a board as often as you want and practice for yourself. Furthermore we always enjoyed to hang around with them after surf sessions for drinking a beer, enjoying a BBQ or cleaning the beach with the orphenants! Thanks it was an awesome experience with you guys!

Review Body: Great team, best time! We never surfed before as a family but wanted to try. So thankful we picked this surf school. They are super patient, encouraging, caring and fun. We choose 1:1 private family lessons with our children ( 8 & 11). Just brilliant we all were standing up. We first came to Bali Green Surf in July 2019 & loved it so much we’ve been back again in Sept & Oct with the team. Big shout out to Widi & all the staff for amazing memories! Review Body: Awesome hostel and surfschool! We really enjoyed our stay at Bali Green Surf. We had a great time during the surflessons aswell as just chilling with everyone around at the hostel. The staff is helpfull and you get the best banana pancakes ever! Booked for a few nights and ended up staying 10 days. The guys are really experienced surfers and you get good instructions during the lessons which you can take for every level. Highly recommanding Bali Green Surf but never try never know ;)

Review Body: Being in between welcoming locals The first time I met them I met some of the most amazing people. They welcome you with open arms and help you in becoming a better surfer. All the boys have there own unique character and makes the whole experience of meeting these locals that give you surf lessons super amazing. Another thing is that they give you surf lessons in good English and make clear what you have to do in order to surf and make you comfortable in taking the waves.

At the end I really improve and my girlfriend know how to take really waves. Instructors are so nice and cool. The whole team is so much fun and we spent lots of evenings with them playing cards, partying or just chilling! Review Body: My daughters loved it My two girls (18 and 14) had a couple of days here as beginners and had great fun and great instruction. The instructors were very conscientious and knowledgeable and both girls were riding some (small) waves by the end. It was the highlight of their holiday. Their base, where you met, was a little bit ramshackle but it didn’t detract from the surfing instruction, which was all on the beach.
