Highlights
A 2D1N adventure to the summit of Mount Kinabalu with a "via ferrata" detour on the way back down! Start from Timpohon gate and ascend through beautiful changing forest landscapes up to Pendant Hut, your accommodation for the night. In the early hours of the morning, make your summit attempt with the ultimate goal of reaching Low's Peak (4095m asl) for a stunning sunrise over Borneo! After sunrise, head to the start point of the Walk the Torq via ferrata activity and return to the accommodation via a series of rungs, cables, bridges & ladders drilled into the rock face. Access a whole different side of the Mount Kinabalu and make some incredible new memories in the process! No experience of rock climbing or mountaineering is required but a head for heights, decent stamina and a sense of adventure will definitely help! Walk the Torq is an entry level Via Ferrata course and takes around 1.5 - 2 hours to complete.
