Review Body: Wan has a killer flair for running games with a local flavour. If you're as enamoured by Southeast Asian lore as I am, definitely try to snag a game with them. Meanwhile Nae's worlds of twisted whimsy are so much fun to play in, and a nice, pastel-fuelled break from the usual stoned walls of caverns and dungeons. The team also has a mix of resident and guest Lore Masters on the roster, so you can always expect fresh narratives and storytelling on the menu.
What's also worth a little shout are also the players that come through the doors here at Lore Obscure. If you're a new person to TTRPG and have always wanted to give it a shot, don't worry about needing to round up friends and people just to fill the seats at the table! The community is supportive, and even if you're across the table from someone you've just met, the games by the Lore Masters here have a way of making you fast friends at the end of your session.

Review Body: Each game here is an experience, filled with characters and worlds that overflow with personality, be it whimsy or terror, heroism or cowardice.
Resident DMs Noah, Wan, Jacob, Isa and Shannae each provide their own fantastical (or beautifully horrific) worlds for players to explore, interact with and impact. Every session is its own canvas, painted by the hands of their players.
As a TTRPG player with 8 years of experience (albeit mostly in D&D), I can confidently say that the stories told within the simple walls of this humble workshop are some of the most beautiful, raw, and human works of collaborative art I have ever had the pleasure to witness, and build.

Review Body: Seriously LOVED this! Being a fan of both Big Bang theory and Stranger Things, I've always been very curious about D&D. It looked fun but I didnt get it. Tried it for the firsst time with colleagues while visiting SG and IT WAS SO GOOD. The host was not just super fun but also explained everything really well and clearly. Even as someone with ADHD and typically struggle to stay focused when people are explaining game rules/ technical information - he did it so well I got it within first time he explained. Can't rave enough about how much fun I had with this experience. TRYYYYY IT!!!!!

Review Body: Loved our experience. Never played this before but we were looking for something different to do this visit. The session was run in such a way you could participate with no knowledge or some experience. The host was spectacular in bringing both the game and some Singaporean history to life in a way that had us fully invested. We negotiated, laughed and watched as the story unfolded. The building itself hidden in is well worth a visit too - cheap food court in the basement with lots of vegetarian and Singapore options and lots of cheap massage and trinket shops to browse.

Review Body: I just had my first-ever TTRPG experience, and WOW, what a blast! Our Lore Master, Suffyan, is an absolute legend. Seriously, the way he weaved the Singaporean myths and folklore into the story made it so engaging—felt like we were actually living the adventure. 🔮✨
Suffyan explained everything clearly, so even as a complete newbie, I didn’t feel lost or overwhelmed. Plus, the game was really fun and not at all intimidating!
All in all, 10/10 experience! I highly recommend it to any first-timer out there who wants to join a TTRPG—it’s the perfect place to start!

Review Body: Lore Obscure is a rare gem in table-top studios in Singapore. I've enjoyed absolutely every game I've played here. The GMs are endlessly creative and there is such a wide variety of games available. Shout out to Wan, who was the GM who first got me hooked on TTRPGs and my passion hasn't let up since. The level of role-playing and storytelling from her games is bonkers, and she does so much work to curate the atmosphere of her sessions as well as integrate character backstories and motivations into her already intricate and deep worlds.

Review Body: We had an outstanding time with Lore Obscure and Suffyan. This intro to D&D with a local folklore twist was funny, exciting, intriguing and, at the end, strangely moving. The whole setup is extremely professional and well done - from the mood music and lighting, through to the snacks and props. Our party had experienced players and novices, adults, a child of 12 and a neurodiverse adolescent and everybody had a simply brilliant time. Suffyan was a delightful host and a magical storyteller. Could not recommend more highly.

Review Body: DM Isa did such an amazing job with the storytelling and explaining everything on the character sheets! It was the perfect introduction to D&D, and my partner and I had the best time being so immersed in the story. Isa, J and Wan were all so friendly and helped us out whenever we were unsure of what to do. Lore Obscure itself was a comfortable, immersive place to be in, with dark lighting, mood music that changes with the story, and a snack corner. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to try D&D for the first time!

Review Body: I’ve been playing D&D here with friends for over a year, and it’s become a second home. The community is welcoming, the vibes are great, and the storytelling? Top tier.
I’ve even had the chance to run a few games as a Guest LoreMaster—something I’m super proud of thanks to the support and creativity this place inspires.
Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or brand new to the game, Lore Obscure is the perfect place to dive in. Can’t recommend it enough!

Review Body: Yo every single session I've had here has been wonderful. Everyone has been so welcoming and I definitely want to shout out all the awesome DMs I've had in my previous sessions - Wan, Nae, Jacob, they've all been so helpful in introducing and walking me through the ins + outs of D&D as a day 1 noob.
The atmosphere is great, the vibes are amazing - there really isn't more you can ask for from a TTRPG experience.

Review Body: I've been playing D&D for four years, and Lore Obscure has been the highlight of my TTRPG experience. I’ve played some incredible one-shots with DMs Wan and Nae, and I’m currently in a long-term campaign run by Jacob.
The DMs here strike the perfect balance between mastering mechanics and and letting players explore immersive, well-crafted narratives in their own richly developed homebrew worlds.

Review Body: We had a very nice fun and bonding family time.
Our host Isa is a great storyteller, kept us hooked during a full captivating afternoon. The setting (lighting, music, display..) is very immersive.
Also Isa adjusted well so we all had fun, from me very beginner at D&D to my son a more mature player. Highly recommend this activity for all.

Meet your host
This experience is led by a close-knit team who came together in 2023, each bringing something unique — from writing and teaching to art and design. What started as a few homebrew games between friends has grown into a space for thoughtful, story-driven tabletop adventures.
They create inclusive, emotionally rich games where everyone — whether queer, neurodivergent, new to TTRPGs, or a seasoned player — can feel right at home. Their sessions often explore big themes like identity and grief, but there’s plenty of laughter and joy around the table too.
At the heart of it all is their love for storytelling and the community it builds. Every game is a chance to connect, imagine, and create meaningful moments — together.
