1 Day Dukuh Sibetan Village Visit

By JED

Choose this if...

You want a quiet, scenic experience with the lush views of Bali’s landscape. Beside the majestic Mt Agung, Sibetan offers Bali’s only bespoke snakeskin fruit winery.

Overview

1 day
Private trip
Tucked away high in the mountains, peace settles like a gossamer shroud on visitors to Dukuh Sibetan. A stone’s throw from the majestic volcano Mt Agung, snakeskin fruit is one of the few crops to have survived the 1963 eruption. Over years of meticulous seed-saving, the villagers are now bona fide snakeskin fruit specialists, and even turn this odd little fruit into Bali’s only snakeskin fruit wine. Set on the foothills of the mountain, the village enjoys beautiful vistas over thick forest, neighboring communities and the ocean, making it a paradise for trekking and photography. The forest is full of stories. You will find warmth and hospitality in the home stay.
