Review Body: We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with this company. They were easy to deal with, quick to respond to any questions & allowed us to tailor our trip to suit. We were picked up promptly at 6am to catch the first ferry to Nusa Penida & our guide met us at the jetty. After quick introductions we were off to our first destination. On the way he took us to a local restaurant for a quick breakfast, at our request where I had the best banana pancakes I’ve ever had. Then we headed straight to Tembeling beach & Forrest which we had arranged to go to previously, instead of the Teletubbies Hills as I had read a guest review & it was highly recommended. It’s a short but very steep motorbike ride down to the top & then a bit a walk down the stairs to the bottom. Unfortunately for us we were unable to swim in the pools as there had been heavy rain the night before that had caused them to be flooded with muddy runoff from the Forrest but it was still worth the walk just to see the beautiful falls & the views from the beach below. Next our guide took us to see Diamond beach & the treehouse. We opted not to go down the steps to the beach & treehouse as my husband had a sore knee. The views of the beach below were spectacular & worth a visit regardless.there is also a swing & flying fox at the top. After this we went to visit a seaweed farm. We loved this experience. The farmers showed us how they cultivate & process the seaweed & gave us a sample of the end product which was delicious. After this our driver took us to a beautiful spot on the cliff tops where we had a fabulous lunch & enjoyed the views. Lastly we stopped at Cave Temple where you have to side through a narrow passage to enter but then it opens into a massive maze of caverns. Our guide Emon was the most helpful & caring young man. We felt safe & confident at all times in his ability to navigate the narrow roads & traffic in Nusa Penida. His local knowledge, engaging conversation & genuine love of his island home, life & culture really enhanced & enriched our whole experience.

Review Body: This was an amazing escape trip nested within our overall trip to Bali. The highlight was the trip to Diamond beach - simply amazing ! To get to the beach you need to climb down a challenging set of stairs with some areas just using a rope as a guide down steep rocks. However once you get to the beach the experience of the strong waves, and the pristine sand is indescribable. Going back up the same way was another challenge :D The other highlight was our stop at the seaweed farm, where we got to interact with the farmer and had some tasty seaweed snacks. Our guide on the island Odat, and Justin from Bali Yok were both excellent in communicating to us the itinerary and organising the trip. Justin picked us up personally from the ferry terminal and dropped us back to the hotel, and he was kind enough to stop at a supermarket, so that we could buy food as it was a bit late. I wish Justin and Seek Sophie all the very best in organising memorable experiences such as this for more people!

Review Body: We had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour! Everything was organized from A to Z, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We left from Ubud at 5:20 AM, and once we arrived at Nusa Penida, we were welcomed by our guide, Ran. Ran was fantastic! He shared an incredible amount of knowledge about the island’s history and traditions, and he also knew some great tricks for avoiding traffic and making the most of our time. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the seaweed farm. It was such a unique and authentic experience! The family who runs the farm was incredibly kind and welcoming. They invited us into their garden and let us try some of their seaweed products. Overall, I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have limited time to explore Nusa Penida. And if you’re looking for a guide for a different type of tour, I would definitely recommend choosing Ran.

Review Body: Easily the highlight of our family trip in Bali was the tour with Justin and his team of locals. We had 9 people ranging from 11 to 49, Justin arranged for an extra car, and was super responsive and accommodating to our needs. The local teams were all from the areas we visited and welcomed us into their homes and "backyards" (farms, waterfalls, jungle). All spoke English well and were excited to share with us their knowledge and stories that we would never have discovered without their local knowledge. While Bali has some fantastic natural resources to enjoy, the local culture is the real jewel and you are not going to get to experience it without meeting locals and spending time with them. Justin and his team are true professionals and will give you a once in a life-time experience. Thanks Justin and the full Bali Yok team!

Review Body: We booked our Bali day trip to Nusa Penida through Seek Sophie while staying in Seminyak in October and were really impressed with how smooth everything was. The team organised our hotel pick up and drop off as well as our return boat ride, which made the whole experience completely hassle free. Once on Nusa Penida, we had a private car with our guide Wayan. He was warm, knowledgeable, and made sure we saw the best spots without feeling rushed. The standout for us was Tembeling Beach with its nature pool and forest, which felt like a hidden gem. We also visited Diamond Beach, a seaweed farm, and the incredible Goa Giri Putri Temple cave. It was a full, beautifully organised day and a great option for couples wanting an easy and memorable way to explore Nusa Penida. Highly recommend.

Review Body: The team was very accommodating, adapting our trip to depart from Nusa Lembogan and to get the best views despite season conditions and a huge number of tourists. The seaweed farm was both fun and relaxing, with welcoming and warm hosts. And while Diamond Beach was breathtaking but overly crowded, at the team's suggestion we had a second beach experience - at the Tembeling Beach Forest. This I'd recommend as a must see for anybody who likes to enjoy beautiful landscapes with less crowds and in a more intimate environment (and some fun scooter rides with the locals). Last but not least, we had Nyoman as a great driver who also offered a great deal of insight into the island's way of life

Review Body: We explored Nusa Penida with Nyoman as our guide. We began at Tembeling Forest Beach, with a natural pool, crystal-clear water, and pristine sand. The timing was perfect, and we had the place almost to ourselves. Unfortunately, Diamond Beach, Atuh Beach, and the tree house didn't impress us due to the crowds and scorching heat. However, Nyoman made up for it by taking us on a unique sea weed farming tour. We spent quality time with locals, learning traditional techniques and even trying our hand at tying sea weed. The Goa Giri Putri Temple, a stunning and one-of-a-kind temple, was a great visit. Nyoman's extensive knowledge and expertise made our experience enjoyable.

Review Body: We took the tour from Nusa Penida where we were picked up from our accommodation on time ( team repaid ferry fare after payment). Justin was very quick to respond to requests for information. Bali Yok was very flexible with our requests of places to visit before & during the tour ( provided with a clear itinerary). Arik - our guide & driver had great English & knowledge of the island being a local.Visiting Diamond Beach & Atuh Beach were lovely but watching the weaving, sitting with seaweed farmer & temple were the best part of the trip. Arik was very attentive to safety, toilet stops & negotiated all stops. Highly recommend this tour.

Review Body: Thank you to our Nusa Pedina guide Ran for the amazing trip and being so helpful! It was a jam-packed schedule starting at 6.30am to take the first ferry out but we managed to explore the popular spots without the immense crowds. The seaweed farm was such an interesting experience, we had lots of fun helping and learning more about their work. Also, he took us to a secret beach spot after a motorbike ride, which became one of our favourite parts and we wished we could spend more time there. Overall, highly recommend this tour and Ran to see the amazing sights without many crowds :)

Review Body: I was ordering this tour for my mom. She is 74 years old and her English is not very good. This trip was a very good choice. Although the traffic was difficult, she was happy. But Run? her guide on Nusa Penida, was very nice, and careing. The tour was full of unique experiences, like seaweed farm and temple in a cave. The forest lake, which they visited instead of Teletubbies Hills was very beautiful and refreshing. I am happy that she saw so much more than just Instagrammable sights. Thank you so much for the memorable day for my mom!

Review Body: Went on the Nusa Penida tour with Ran as our tour guide. It was a great experience and a super enjoyable day! It was nice to get away the normal touristy activities of Nusa Penida and do something a little more unique by seeing both the seaweed farm and the cave temple. We were still able to hit Diamond Beach and had a great time there! Ran was a great driver and tour guide and was able to answer our questions. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is trying to experience more of the island than just the instagram hot spots.

Review Body: It was my first time to Penida and I had an amazing experience with Justin! He was really friendly and brought us to a local seaweed farm and we even visited one of the local families there. Getting invited to their house and eating crispy deep fried seaweed crackers was a really amazing experience. He also brought us to all the other spots we wanted to see, like Diamond Beach and Broken Beach - so beautiful! Highly recommend a trip with Justin!

Review Body: We truly wanted to get off the beaten path and they made it happen! We did 2 trips, one to the opposite side of Mount Batur (8 people instead of 300 and an unforgettable view of the sunset over Lombok) and one in Nusa Penida, with 2 top places in total isolation. We definitely recommend the seaweed farm. All the local guides were really nice company, genuine and talkative.

Our driver was very flexible and accommodating for what we wanted to see and fit in without being rushed. Great communication the days prior and during. Itinerary Summary: See Teletubbies Hill, local seaweed farms, a sacred temple and gorgeous beaches

Itinerary Description: 06.30 Pick up from your hotel in Bali (exact time may vary depending on where you are staying) 07.00 Arrive at Sanur Port ready to go to Nusa Penida Island (exact port location will depend on the day and your location) 08.00 Arrive at Nusa Penida Port in Nusa Penida Island 09.00 Goa Giri Putri Temple. Your trip will kick off with an introduction to one of the largest and most sacred Balinese temples in Nusa Penida. Many locals from the main island visit this temple during purification ceremonies. At the very top of a steep set of stairs, you will see this temple once you step through a small crevice in a natural rock wall that opens up to a huge cave. Please note that, according to Balinese Hindu custom, women who are menstruating are not permitted to enter the temple. If this applies to you, this stop will be skipped. 10.30 Semaya Village. This is the highlight of our off-the-beaten-path East Coast trip here. In this village, you get to meet local seaweed farmers who will show you your way around their farms and beautiful crops. You can walk down their plots at the beach front teeming with seaweed groves, or they may a helping hand to tie the seaweed seedlings to a rope so that they don’t float away. Our farmers will then invite you into their homes to learn a bit more about how they use their seaweed crops in their cooking – and you may even get to try some home-made snacks made out of seaweed! 12.30 Lunch. Lunch is not provided, but we can bring you to any one of the nearby lunch places (of your choice) from the places recommended by our local team. If you would like to have lunch included, you can add lunch under the “ADD-ON”! 14.00 Diamond and Atuh Beaches. Finally, we will bring you to our iconic beaches in East Nusa Penida which are located next to each other. Here, you can take in and take some beautiful photographs of the views from the top. If you don’t already know, the Diamond Beach is named after its iconic diamond-shaped rock cliffs which statues in the beautiful blue waters. Try and see if you can spot it yourself! As for Atuh Beach, you will need to descend a steep set of stairs off the side of a cliff to see the rocky beach with an arch in the distance. It's worth the dizzying trek down! 15.00 Teletubbies Hill. If there is still time, we will bring you to Teletubbies Hill where you can check out the round hills covered mounds which are reminiscent of the hills in the children's TV show with the same name.
