Aunty Pek started her home dining experience in 2019, after years as a private tutor - but she's been cooking long before then. Inspired by memories of her grandmother’s kitchen in Johor, Aunty brings that same sense of home to her guests. She does everything herself – from slow-marinating her signature duck to simmering soups for hours – using homemade sauces and ingredients she personally prepares. Her food blends Chinese and Peranakan influences, and every dish reflects her careful touch, right down to the herbs grown in her own backyard. It’s not just about the flavours; it’s the feeling of comfort and familiarity, like visiting your favourite relative who always feeds you too much.
