If I could give this magical place 10 stars, I totally would! I was travelling solo, and I spent three wonderful days here. This stay was truly the most authentic experience of my life although I've been to 62 countries and on countless trips! Unforgettable! Adun, Kao, and Mali took the best care of me. I felt like I was part of their family. My little house was just perfect, it was cosy, had all the basic necessities, and quite a comfortable bed, I slept like a baby! I joined all kinds of workshops and activities, I felt so welcome, and every single day was full of joy. What an amazing place to disconnect from our stressful daily lives and learn how to slow down! We cooked meals, danced, sang, built a mud house, made traditional Thai medicine, picked vegetables in the garden, created our own tye dye designs, had beautiful and meaningful conversations, stargazed. They have a traditional Thai clinic as well where you can arrange for a massage. The coffeeshop on site is a delight, too. Their coffee is so delicious and comes straight from the farm! Adun took me on a short hike, and I am so grateful for this experience. Oh, and their cats! Absolutely adorable, friendly cats everywhere! I will never forget my time enjoyed here. And I can't recommend this place enough. I miss these people already, and I hope to come back one day soon enough.

Just 30 minutes by car from the bustling streets of Chiang Mai’s city center lies a tranquil haven—a village that feels worlds away from the noise and chaos of urban life. This charming community is a testament to a love for nature, craftsmanship, and the simple pleasures of life. Spending three nights here was a rejuvenating experience, full of warmth, authenticity, and unforgettable moments. The village is a picture-perfect community where every detail reflects a deep connection to the earth. All the buildings are built by the locals themselves, using clay, bamboo, and an intangible ingredient: love. The architecture feels alive, with each structure blending seamlessly into the natural surroundings. There’s a rustic beauty in every corner—be it the earthy walls of the clay houses, the hand-woven bamboo roofs, or the shaded verandas that invite you to relax and take in the serenity. The large property is dotted with coconut trees that sway gently in the breeze, offering shade and an endless supply of fresh coconuts. Scattered ponds teeming with fish add to the charm, creating a peaceful, almost meditative ambiance. This is a place where time slows down, and the beauty of simplicity becomes apparent. The real heart of the village, however, lies in its hosts, Ka and Adun. They are not just hosts—they are true professionals and, above all, people who love what they do and genuinely care about their guests. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family, welcoming us with warm smiles and a deep desire to make our stay unforgettable. Ka and Adun went above and beyond, preparing authentic Thai lunches and dinners that were nothing short of culinary masterpieces. For lunch, we enjoyed som tam (green papaya salad) with just the right balance of tangy and spicy, paired with grilled chicken marinated in Thai herbs and served with sticky rice. Dinner was a royal affair with tom yum goong (spicy shrimp soup), pad kra pao (stir-fried basil with pork), and green curry with tender chicken and fresh coconut milk. Ka and Adun didn’t just host us in the village—they took us on an adventure into the surrounding countryside. One morning, they invited us, along with some of their friends, on a hike through the stunning landscapes nearby. The trail led us through lush, green forests filled with the sound of chirping birds and the gentle rustle of leaves. We climbed gentle hills that offered panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, dotted with rice fields and scattered villages. The air was crisp and filled with the scent of wildflowers. Along the way, Adun shared stories about the local flora and fauna, pointing out medicinal plants and edible herbs growing in the wild. As we walked, we passed bubbling streams, small waterfalls, and even stumbled upon a hidden grove where colorful butterflies danced in the sunlight. The hike was more than just a physical activity—it was a chance to connect with nature and appreciate its wonders in a deeply personal way. What stood out the most about our time in the village was the genuine sense of community. The locals live simply but richly, finding joy in everyday moments. We spent evenings chatting with Ka and Adun and their friends, sharing stories over cups of herbal tea and admiring the star-filled sky. The village truly embodies the idea that happiness doesn’t come from material possession
