It was a brilliant 2 days of trekking to see the landscapes in Sapa with a warm and kind local guide who knew the ins and outs like the back of her hand! The homestay itself was also such a wonderful place to stay and learn a bit about the traditional Hmong home!

Trekked off the beaten trek with May Shan. Although it was misty the whole trip, May’s depth of knowledge and her great grasp of English made it truly enjoyable.

Our guide Pay (not sure how to spell it I’m sorry!) was great. He taught us a lot along the way and answered all of our million of questions 😊 it was a pleasure to have him as a guide. The trek itself was beautiful and peaceful. We walked in total for approx 4 hours and it was quite an easy walk through villages and rice fields. Lunch was also good.
