The Kimchi-Kraut class was wonderful! We each got to bring home our own jars of freshly made kimchi, with all jars and ingredients provided. Sheila also set up a WhatsApp group for us to share our learning, progress, and questions — such a thoughtful touch. What truly sets this workshop apart, though, is Sheila herself. You can feel that this is her labour of love — an effort to build a community that shares valuable knowledge and ways to heal, both body and soul!

Thoroughly enjoyed the workshop! Sheila was a really engaging instructor and she was able to guide us to understand the mechanics and benefits of fermentation. I drew really great insights into this topic and can’t wait to start my own fermentation journey. A must do for anyone that is curious about fermentation.

Apart from the superb quality of the produce and the meal, Sung and Li-Ann were warm and gracious hosts at their beautifully designed home. The Wild Japan menu was accompanied by thoughtful mini info-documentaries self-produced by the hosts, which made the experience more immersive and rounded up each course perfectly.
