I had an amazing experience at the Batik workshop with Leksa Ganesha! Everything was incredibly well organized, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The people were kind, helpful, and made the whole process enjoyable—even for beginners. They give you all the time you need. I learned a lot and had a great time being creative.
The food prepared in the cooking class was delicious and served in the cute coffee shop attached. Highly recommended!

This was soooooo fun!!! I can't recommend the experience highly enough! The teachers were so friendly and helpful and proficient and you go home with your own piece of art to remind you of lovely Jogyakarta. They also video you in the process. And don't miss out on the hand pressed espresso in the cafe and the exquisite batiks in the gallery! A very special co-op!!!

We had a really wonderful experience learning all about coffee starting from the sapling to the roasting and grinding using traditional methods. It was all hands on deck and it took me an hour to make the coffee. But, it made me appreciate each cup of coffee even more knowing the hard work that goes behind the scene.
Ibu Mar and her husband are great teachers in the art of growing, roasting, and brewing coffee. Hartono is a really fantastic guide and I had a great time learning from him.

It was an amazing experience at the centre that helped me learn about batik making and more importantly to learn Indonesian's philosophy about life through this art form.
I strongly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to have an in-depth experience of batik making as you get to make your special piece of batik under the skillful guidance of the batik masters at the centre.

“Our guide, AG, was absolutely fantastic! His excellent English made communication so easy and comfortable throughout our trip. He was fun, helpful, and took great care of us during the two days we spent together. AG was always punctual, patient, and went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. When we wanted to find batik, he made sure to drive us around and brought us to several different batik places. His dedication and friendliness truly made our experience in Jogja memorable. I highly recommend AG to anyone visiting the area!”

We had an amazing time at Leksa Ganesha. We booked the Batik workshop and cooking class. It was super fun to create our own pieces of art and the hosts were incredibly helpful and skilled. The food was wonderful and we had a great time walking through the village with a guide explaining the Javanese eating culture to us. Would definitely recommend!
