Thank you for the nice trip. We learned a lot about coffee and Indonesian culture. 100% recommended. Also the driver and the people of the farm were very friendly!

I had a wonderful experience. The tubing place was closed due to high rainfall so the driver spoke to the head office and found a new location to go to and arranged everything. We even stopped at a coffee place on the way back to Jogja. Everyone was very friendly. I found it hard to accept that villagers pull you up at the end however I was told it is an additional income for farmers and it is an equitable system between the owner and the farmer. I helped pull some people up and had a chat with a farmer whilst pulling someone up. They were very friendly and kept saying thank you, although I don't think I helped much 🤣

Truly such a brilliant experience, and both Agung and Ayoob who picked us up and took us for the jeep tour were incredibly friendly, and so engaging. Ayoob took beautiful photos of my husband and I and Agung even shared an edited video of our trip after. Highly recommend anyone visiting Yogyakarta to go for this tour of Mt Merapi!

Top Things to Do in Yogyakarta FAQs

Hi! I am interested in the "2-Day Best of Yogyakarta with Insider Guide". However, is it possible to replace the day 2 activity at Timang beach with a cave tubing activity at Kalisuci instead? Intend to book this for 2 Adults. Pls let me know how the price difference (if any) will be managed. Thank you!
