Hi. I am interested in the mt batur tour. Reading the reviews I am unclear whether you climbed Mt batur or an alternative mountain and you view the mountain. Can you confirm what mountain you climbed and also the height you climbed too (is it below Mt batur)? Thanks

Hi Ross, thanks for your interest in the Mt. Batur tour! Just to clarify, this is not the Mt. Batur hike. Instead, you'll be taking a boat across Batur Lake to the Caldera hillside, where you'll begin hiking through the jungle hills to reach the Batur Caldera Summit.
From the summit, you’ll get to witness Mt. Batur, Agung, and even Rinjani bathed in golden light. It’s a breathtaking experience!
Hi, we are a group of 8-10 people thinking about booking this tour for April next year. Is it possible to be picked up from accommodation in Kintimani, and then returned to either the same place or Ubud? We haven't decided whether to stay 1 or 2 nights yet. Would it be possible to go to the hot springs, coffee plantation, and somewhere for lunch after the hike? We are also interested in any village options other than the cemetery if possible!

Yes, it is possible to arrange a pick-up in Kintamani and a drop-off at another location. You can also visit a hot spring and a coffee plantation after hiking.
